I was waiting on my partner to fix some stuff, but not too sure what's going on. I felt we needed a new lollipop rom so I brought this back

I tried flashing it. It boots up fine but I can't get play store to work. Keeps saying it can't retrieve whatever from sever. I tried clearing its cache and data. Didn't work. Tried wiping del cache n cache from twrp still didn't work.

[ROM] [5.1.1] - AOSP DT2W/S2W - kernel gcc4.8 - bionic/graphite - Liscio Fast Forward

Hi, based on former experience I am happy to present 5.1 Liscio Fast Forward including self-compiled AOSP kernel (with DT2W and S2W). Few other modifications which were carefully chosen. Feel free to post your feature request here but be aware this will always stay as close as possible to stock.
Please flash this with Gapps of your choice. I used SimpleAOSP's.
Downloads and feature list in the second post; and for screenshots, have a look at the third post.
I can not take any responsibility damaging your device or alarm clock which will not come off. If you decide to flash my ROM, you are getting responsible yourself. Have a functioning Nandroid in case something goes wrong.

Hi, anybody running this? No feedback can be bad or good means just working as it should. Since I am not having issues so far, I suppose the few of you also got no issues. BTW, feature requests are welcome; not sure if we can implement all but good to have the discussion.

OmniKang - by finnq & Schubi (hammerhead)

OmniKang by finnq & Schubi (Android 4.4)
This is an OmniROM based ROM with lots of cherry picks and modifications.
OmniKang is compatible with the official OmniROM nightlies.
So you normally you can flash OmniKang just over an OmniROM nightly without wiping anything. It's just the same procedure as flashing a new nightly.
You can also do the other way round without expecting problems.
I won't describe here in detail how to flash OmniKang because it's almost exactly the same procedure as for OmniROM. So please have a look here if you don't know. However, you don't have to flash Superuser manually, as it's already in OmniKang.
Main features
Android 4.4 and all the features of OmniROM
OpenPDroid
From time to time we release builds with OpenPDroid, but our nightlies don't have OpenPDroid support!
Lock screen notifications
Displays notifications on lock screen. You can swipe out notifications to dismiss them.
HALO
ParanoidAndroid's HALO Notification Bubble.
CM ribbons
QuickSettings ribbon controls in notification drawer
Dark UI (TRDS)
Change UI to black theme
NavBar Height Mod
You can set the height of the navigation bar from 20 dp up to stock 48 dp.
Center Clock Mod
You can move the clock to the middle of the status bar.
Battery Bar
Shows a bar with the battery status above the status bar or above the navigation bar.
NFC Polling Mode
Enable NFC polling on lock screen or when screen is of.
Advanced network activity indicator
For example, you can enable a two line indicator for up- and downstream (MiUi style).
Advanced low battery indicator options
You can disable the warning dialog for low battery warning and get a notification or only a sound instead.
More features
Status bar: Clock with custom date
Recent RAM bar: Displays a RAM bar on the recent apps view.
Lock screen: See through
Option to disable full screen keyboard in landscape mode
Option to enable notification light when screen is on
Custom battery circle colours and animation speed
OmniSwitch
Status bar: Change colour
and many more, discover them yourself! (Of course all the OmniROM features too!)
For more detailed information, see the changelog!
Credits
First of all thanks to the developers of OmniROM and all who are contributing to it or uploading code to Gerrit!

Until they fix it, one way around it is to flash the ROM with no GAPPS and boot. Then reboot into recovery and flash GAPPS. I just did that and it's working no problem. :good:

Excellent job on this! So glad to see this come out of nowhere with all of the features that I like and/or want!
One quick observation....do you think that you guys will get around to updating the charging LED light so it stays solid instead of pulsate? I know a lot of ROMs have incorporated that now and was just curious if you might be able to do that?
Thanks and great job! :good:
Thats an hardware issue. No way out. Same as in TWRP, LG decided not to implement Date in lower levels, so Backups are named with 1970.

The charging LED is a hardware issue? Other ROMs on this phone have the light to stay on now, so I was just curious if you were going to implement it.
I'm not being rude but I just wasn't sure if you were responding to me or not.

Sure, no problem. While we are at it, I also noticed the LED light has another issue that has popped up on other ROMs. When you are plugged in and charging the phone and get a notification, the charging LED will turn off and won't turn back on unless you unplug and re-plug the phone in.
With all of that being said....this particular ROM has the LED functioning 100% the way I have described that it should: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2610693
I hope you can figure it out from their code, because this ROM would easily be my daily if fixed! Thanks!

All set up now and running pretty sweet..

Nothing major, other than that what a brilliant rom, loving it...

Yes, but on first boot the nav bar is already hidden AND fingerprint gestures aren't turned on = no navigation!
OP might want to fix that fun little opener. I can live without a centered clock, but no apm seems a bit too pure/austere, plus other CAF-based roms have it. Unless I missed it...

They have it because the feature was added to the ROM. That's not stock android code or caf code.

I know it's an added feature and not in the base code, just saying most roms add that very basic feature or at least provide the option for it. Maybe it was intentionally not added though, guess we'll see on the next update.

I think adding exposed so we could do all of this with simple modules would be dope

IDK what's happening but every room that this Dev puts out now force closes the phone on launch

Is substratum working? Does the phone app force quit? I can't apply themes and the phone keeps hanging up on people

No option to center the clock on status bar. Nor change the battery icon. Sad.

Its unmodified Aosp no tweaks. Do it yourself.
I'm not logging something he could just test himself. Not being rude but really.... Why waste my time when he's probably going to flash and test it himself

Yesterday I've downloaded your app from Playstore
Works great on beta Oreo
Keep the good work
Thanks a lot
Works very good, thank you
Only one little thing:
On my 3T the maximum quick tiles are 8, if I choose 9 quick tiles then only 8 are there and the last is out of the screen on the right side.
Hello just wanted to ask the P3 mode is only compatible with the panel ending in 5 correct? Not the one ending in 3 I'm assuming

It happens also on my 3t. I think this is due to the size of the icons

It is compatible with both panels.

I'm not able to take screenshots anymore.
OnePlus 3 running on open beta 24 7.1.1
Nice, how about screenshots?
Awesome
Dang, thanks for this App! Really makes everything convenient and easy to use, with everything in one place. A real time saver for enabling features rather than opening a terminal and enabling DCI_P3 or using ADB to remove OnePlus analytics.
After Oreo Stable update , tiles option is not working , any ideas ?!
Settings not sticking after reboot.
Any help?
The QS tile count works on Freedom OS 3.2(Oreo), but display settings doesn't stick over a reboot..
Is it anything that can be fixed ?

Do you check in the setting to restore those changes on boot?

Don't change the display resolution, you can't change it back to default. BROKEN

Restore call recorder at boot
Hi and thank you for this handy app. I choose the "restore call recorder at boot" option but it is not functioning on the 5t, any solution available?
Thanks, Peter
