thank u and i ve also found n other way to do that is by extracting recovery.img from the rom file with 7zip and adding the .img file to archive with .tar format [emoji2] [emoji2]

hey...plz hlp i now have kinguser app and supersu installer when i open supersu installer is says su binary is not found this is a fatal error after that ot asked for update so i updated now i ve supersu free i opened it ... asked for binary updates i update and choose normal it fails i think i m rooted but with kinguser binary is there anyway to replace it with su binary?????

This app will remove KingUSer, King su binary and install super su, but when you open super su it will ask you to update su binary, hit normal install and that's it, it works.

That was for the permanent version.
But now that its removed, no problems..
how do i boot into cwm after i install it?if i click on recovery in andreboot,it is taking me to twrp..and i flashed the stock kernel in order to get rid of twrp..and then if i press volume up+home+power keys,it is taking me to stock android recovery!! plz help me

This only gives su permissions by pushing su to xbin..
But after su is pushed into xbin one will have to install SuperSu from google play to manage root permissions to certain apps..
And also Busybox Pro to install latest busybox and its applets
And this will complete the complete rooting process

i have a network lock after flashing a new firmware on s5282, i have rooted my s5282 easly via Cydia Impactor within 5 seconds and its rooted 1000% and after browsing EFS files i didnt find nv_data.bin as usually in S1 S2 S3 S4, i found test_nv file with no extention, How can i Unlock my s5282 ?, Need your help

Thanks, but i tried many stock firmwares from Samsung, i still havi Network lock, i beileve its not a firmware problem, and s5282 dosent has nv_data bin , only test_nv file, and Samsung reply me that no use to change firmwares, Network lock is somwhere else, they asked me to buy the code, i think lock code is behind test_nv file, am i right?

I tried TowelRoot method, but when I launch the TR app, the app just hangs, nothing happens. I waited for some time (about 10 mins), rebooted my phone, but no root.

cf counter app - which app are you referring to? Could you give exact name? (is it triangle away?)
KNOX counter got tripped on my phone when I tried this root method.

Yes it is triangle away. And if you are careful, you shouldn't worry about KNOX counter. And it is a matter of time before your warranty ends anyway.

first full wipe next install rom ... next first wait boot ... then next flash gaps . then flash root with nexus tool kit ... then unistall app... yes it working very well

Still no way to flash gapps for me
I tried everything every way
I modified topjohnwu's installer and have functioning Xposed v88. Since sharing is caring, I've attached the zip.
Check the Xposed forum for info on modules that work!

I'm rooted with SuperSU on pure Nexus...I know it's not magisk you are talking about here butt.....
When I install the Xposed sdk 25 zip.... Does it modify the boot image or anything that would make me loose root or twrp like when we flash a ROM?
What Xposed Installer do you use with this? I can't seem to get it working.

DVDAndroids, the material one.
Everything LOOKS perfect (Xposed installer says the framework is active, the modules are installed and checked) but the modules don't seem to work, and when I click on Gravitybox or Youtube AdAway or something like that it says it's not active. Anyone else have this issue or any ideas?
Edit: I'm on magisk 14.2. could that be a problem?
I'm having issues with the xposed apps seeing that it's installed. The official app doesn't see it. DVDAndroids version sees that it's installed but says to check the logs, which has little info on the issue.
Any advice on installation methods?
How did you install xposed just normally? Twrp fails and says it couldn't mount system as read/write

I did the exact same thing. Install the app. click on the download and install button from the app

This doesn't work because the installer wasn't made for Pixels.

install the apk. Clicked the little cloud and install. Another window came up and installed. Said to restart and upon restarting xposed was installed.

I'm unable to restore with Magisk. Only Supersu. I don't know what the answer is to that

I'm using the newest Supersu sr5 v2.82 if that makes a difference.

Yeah I'm trying to do it on magisk
That might be the reason... Haven't tried with Magisk. If your willing to try with Supersu it should work. Was very painless
