Hey guys, Im new to the community and almost a total noob in the cell phone scene.
I flashed the indian XXU to my grand prime via odin3 and it seems to work great after a factory reset, but I've noticed the battery drains really fast when using the cellphone. The battery discharged 25% in just 40 minutes of continuos use and it used to last at least twice that on 4.4.4.
Should I try this russian rom?
Any other advice?

Do you mind as well uploading the G850F Lollipop version when it comes out? We would all greatly appreciate it since most of us are rooted and want to just simply flash it through Odin since we dont get OTAs.

Unfortunately it doesn't work on G850F, i guess will have to wait a little longer.
Guys, G850S (SKTelecom) and G850F (International Model) are not same perfectly.
G850S has Exynos Modem 303 (ss303), G850F has Intel xmm7260.
If you want to use lp for G850F, there is two way for that.
1. Port Lp for G850F (but official lp for g850f has released before porting lp)
2. be patient.

If you need the stock firmware for any Samsung device for any region go to:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
Create an account and you can download any of them. (You can alos create a free account just the download speeds will be slow.)
Or you can use this tool to download it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/general/tool-samfirm-samsung-firmware-t2988647
But here you need to know the exact PHONE, CSC and AP version strings, also the region code, and device code. You have to type them in manually

ok its kinda nice that we got the update now BUT IT TOOK ONE YEAR FOR A GOD DAMN UPDATE

just god knows when it will be out for N750/5
i know it from the tab 4 series... tab 4 10.1 got update and the tab 4 7.0 owners had to wait 4 more months
hope samsung will not mess up as they did on tab 4

3g variant is exynos... 5.1.1 currently released is for note 3 neo sd800 variants... dont even try unless u want a new phone

This road map is outdated, j5 2015 was removed from the list and J5 2016 release moved to 13.10

The J7 2016 Nougat update started from India, not Russia. There is no pattern of what country or telecom are getting it first.

The first update to Android 7 was through OTA. The Russia OTA update started from August 28 or 29, and the SamMobile India firmware is there from September 1st.

Saw that the J510FN is now updating to J510FNxxS2AQI4. This will be the last Android 6 then.
