I will be maintaining the device for SlimRoms officially, when we do start with a weekly release. Meanwhile I will be manually pushing builds every week or two. Huge thanks to scritch007, using his device specific repos. Initial release

Do you plan on full CDMA support for the 1526 variant? We've been having issues for network identification for our particular device. While we do have LTE and 3G its not provisioned correctly.
Sent from my XT1526 using Tapatalk

Unfortunately I'm using xt1527 so I can't debug it per say. I can try but no promises. Didn't scritch007 work on it?

Say what, official slim. Whoot!!

Everything running great so far, thank you

Wow, this is amazing! Keep up the good work.
So this is really official? If it is why the download .zip name is "UNOFFICIAL"? All of this is based in CM12.1 by scritch007 right? So this rom is going to have the same bugs as CM12.1? (I'm kinda noob on this, sry)

I'm building them myself until we get Jenkins running, once we do they will have weekly/stable stamp. But I am maintaining the device for Slim. I'm using scritch007's device, kernel and vendor (as in I forked over to SlimRoms github), kernel is mostly 1:1 but won't be eventually. As for bugs yea they should be similar

Is there a virgin mobile LTE fix I could use with this ROM for my VM Moto E? I have a XT1526 and I would love to help test this ROM but so far no matter what ROM I flash my carrier id is listed as 000000 but I am using Sprint's network on a VM phone and I can only use 3g
Sent from my XT1526 using Tapatalk

I'm not that big of a knower in custom ROM's features, but does this ROM support themes like CM or RRO layers?
Thanks a lot for your work so far btw, I'm really stoked to see new development for surnia!

There is no halo in PA. Its been scrapped. Only features now are pie and peek. Since peek source is not out, you won't see it in unofficial builds. It will be available in the official build when it is out.

The OP has nothing to do with adding features it is the responsibility of the paranoid android developers. All the links are provided for you in the first post check it out.
@Silesh.Nair please add the G+ link to AOSPA Legacy seeing our device is not a nexus.

It won't be coming anytime soon if at all they decide to include it. Their approach is different from other ROMs. They have a post about the approach they are taking on their Google+ page.
Regarding theme manager, I think xposed framework has a module for it.

Maybe. I don't want to sound nitpicky but it shouldn't be in the title if there isn't build for it yet or at all.

Woah, way to overreact. I don't think I was being extreme in asking not to label a thread as supporting a device that it did not (and that there wasn't any hint about until we asked about it). I wasn't even asking for ETA, just that in OP there wasn't any hint of the 9190 version. Even then I thanked you in my post for making it available as it was anyways.
What freaking hint? I am compiling a build only to get guys like you keep their mouth shut.
If you knew what it takes to compile a build, you would not be complaining for everything. I compile and maintain 12 different ROMs and their supporting threads. Try compiling and maintaining one before you find fault for trivial issues. And you think I am over reacting.
Anyways I am uploading the build for serrano3gxx. It should be up in an hour. And that's it after that. Gud luck.

Maybe you could've just updated the title to reflect the fact that only the 9195 was available until you could build the 9190 (if you wanted). Again, I wasn't pressing you to build 9190, just that the title should reflect the content in OP. When I first posted the info about the 9190 being compiled wasn't there. I thank you for all the work you do on these forums but you should relax, specially when there isn't any reason to be arguing.

Thanks so much for all your hard work with this device. To think there was a time when there was no CM/AOSP roms a while ago........
Just my two cents but I think it's better to find a rom you enjoy using/like the most and focus on that one instead of multiple. Iv'e seen situations where some devs support multiple roms for a single device and like you said, your hands are full and it can be too much for some. In any case, it's your decision to make and at least this way users have more variety to choose from, looking forward to testing this rom soon, keep up the great work :good:
Wow. Great to see such rapid growth in AOSP Roms for our tablet. There are now 5 Roms for it, LiquidSmooth, BrokenOS, EOS, CM, and now AOSPA-L. And one stand alone AOSP kernel.

I started working on CyanogenMod 12.1 back at the 1st of Setember 2015. I took my time, alternating with real life things and other projects, and I finally came up with a reliable and fully stable build. It's all my work, and it has nothing to do with other CyanogenMod ROMs that you can find for Moto X Play. Instead for basing myself on other devices I directly fetched the latest CAF MSM8916 (MSM8916_32) device tree and worked out this new device from scratch thanks to the latest Motorola firmwares. It also use a lite and updated kernel.
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.1 (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

This uses a different device tree based directly off the CAF MSM8916_32 branch, whereas Squid uses an adapted Osprey/Surnia/Condor/so on tree. Also, this build uses the stock Motorola kernel with a few minor changes.

What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.
Why AOKP ?
We were waiting for when you’d ask this.
There are a variety of reasons why a hilly billy Android user, on a bright sunny day, would suddenly start using AOKP and loving it.
For one, AOKP is lightweight. Most OEMs provide a heavy UI layer over Android and have loads of bloatware (i.e. apps that not everyone use every day, but you cannot remove because they’re “baked in” by default). Since AOKP is built upon vanilla Android source, it has neither of the above.
Also AOKP has features that you will not find on your stock firmware. You can have a multitude of toggles to quickly flip a lot of your phone’s settings right at your fingertips, or you can launch apps quickly from any screen using our Ribbons.
You can change almost each and every aspect of the OS, from its looks to the way it functions, with total freedom. And did we tell you, AOKP helps you make tacos?

We're on track still since MM (I called out from Carbon and convinced Arnav and legacy active members to start again AOKP, my old love).
Not really active on xda but rather on our G+ Community: https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/114009911819515408480
Thanks for confidence.
Great very smooth and stable construction. Very similar to AICP but without Ota Center.

Nice ROM, very smooth, thanks. But I miss normal night mode (with scheduler as in cypherOS) instead LiveDisplay and Selinux permissive support in kernel (for ARISE modules using, e.g. AM3D).

LOL Think we're always been like cousins, before both AOKP based (o.c.) and now both CM/LOS based.
Davor it's a good friend.
Update: added some screenshots on related section.
Running 7.1.2 since 15 with no errors, just dirty flashed 29th nightly and still rock solid. Appreciate the work and time.:good:
I'm a bit confused reading the title:
Kernel LOS-E.X.-T.M8
What does this stand for? At a first glance, it seems to be a "normal" kernel without any tweaking options.

Exactly the opposite: I picked the LOS kernel, added with all ElementalX optimizations and features and some commit from Team-M8.
Here explained the title (hope!). If you can wait some hour for next build (http://build.aokp.co/dibs/) it will have all the latest upgrades and updates.
You can take a look in detail here: https://github.com/AOKP/kernel_htc_msm8974/commits/nougat
Thanks.

May i ask if you also added the wake up gestures, especially the "swipe up to wake" when the screen is off?
That one is missing in almost all nougat roms...

Can I use the img in any other rom?
I see now that the movement requirement for DT2W is gone!
It's so awesome!
Does substratum work in this rom?

On next build S2W is enabled, together with other features. I'll do a list in OP.

Have some doubt about usability of mine kernel img on other rom... but you can try on other LOS based.
Yep, I hate HTC movement require. Now no more needed, thanks elementalX.

AOKP didn't remove SU. We like open source stuff.

Did you manage to unify the 3 device & vendor trees to get these building?

They don't need to be unified, they just all need to be used in the build.

I tried that last night, trying to get an Official BlissROM out for us (was probably gonna stop there cuz you guys were doing Awesome over here, Lol). And got nothing but strange double conflicts.. I may have overlooked something since I only pulled the owens folder from vendor and was up too late. But ok, I'll try again later. You're doing a great job, @Goose03 . Props to all of ya

You shouldn't have to do much of anything other than sync or clone the repos and change a few lines here and there to make it build. And make sure you have the msm8937 qcomm audio, display, and media stuff.

You could try asking in the QA section for someone to build it.

It really is that simple. The truck is changing any device name stuffs in some of the android.mk files. Lucky RR built without too many issues. I am just happy to see this many roms out for this devices now.

@SeanHacker Has Aokp Oreo been based off of Aosp instead of Lineage like Tom had planned?
Here's the sprint visual voicemail if anyone wants it. It works 100%. Should work with any custom ROM.

Yes, it is the app from the stock ROM. You only have to pay to get the messages transcribed. You can get them right in the app to read for free though without having to call your voicemail box.

You asked for someone to build AOKP. It's built, and now you just want to keep asking for battery life info. Try it, see how it is for you with your own personal use. Everyone uses their devices differently. Everyone has a different opinion. Make your own opinion based on your own experience. Too many peoples opinions are actually someone else's, and would probably be different if they took the initiative to make their own rather than just listening someone else's.
