They don't need to be unified, they just all need to be used in the build.

I tried that last night, trying to get an Official BlissROM out for us (was probably gonna stop there cuz you guys were doing Awesome over here, Lol). And got nothing but strange double conflicts.. I may have overlooked something since I only pulled the owens folder from vendor and was up too late. But ok, I'll try again later. You're doing a great job, @Goose03 . Props to all of ya

You shouldn't have to do much of anything other than sync or clone the repos and change a few lines here and there to make it build. And make sure you have the msm8937 qcomm audio, display, and media stuff.

You could try asking in the QA section for someone to build it.

It really is that simple. The truck is changing any device name stuffs in some of the android.mk files. Lucky RR built without too many issues. I am just happy to see this many roms out for this devices now.

@SeanHacker Has Aokp Oreo been based off of Aosp instead of Lineage like Tom had planned?

Here's the sprint visual voicemail if anyone wants it. It works 100%. Should work with any custom ROM.

Yes, it is the app from the stock ROM. You only have to pay to get the messages transcribed. You can get them right in the app to read for free though without having to call your voicemail box.

You asked for someone to build AOKP. It's built, and now you just want to keep asking for battery life info. Try it, see how it is for you with your own personal use. Everyone uses their devices differently. Everyone has a different opinion. Make your own opinion based on your own experience. Too many peoples opinions are actually someone else's, and would probably be different if they took the initiative to make their own rather than just listening someone else's.

I have no clue. @Bobcus Leper told me that it booted and that he would test more tomorrow. If you want to test just make a new rom slot and flash. This was built using CM12 device tree so it should have all of the working functionality of CM12.

If you wipe system, data, and both caches then yea. If you want to dirty flash though, be my guest just don't report bugs since every single dev requires a clean install if coming from another ROM.
One thing to mention, with any of the Team OctOs ROMs for Android 5 (A5), it will take quite a bit longer to flash than other A5 ROMs. To the point we specifically fixed the progress display. Be patient!

Yea CM12 takes like 5-10minutes to flash for us. And initial boots take ages especially since we use kexec..

I meant TO Builds tend to take longer than regular CM12. CM12 uses a image-based system, and we prefer the individual files.
Any screenshots or features list? Will probably give this a shot tomorrow. Thanks!

It runs as smooth and is basically equal to @stargo's latest CM12 build. Since this ROM is built from CM source, expect the same bugs. The stock camera does work by default in this rom.
So, after an hour of testing, unless you want added features (color and statusbar customization) this ROM may be for you. If not, stick with CM12, because it is essentially the exact same ROM.

I'm building them myself until we get Jenkins running, once we do they will have weekly/stable stamp. But I am maintaining the device for Slim. I'm using scritch007's device, kernel and vendor (as in I forked over to SlimRoms github), kernel is mostly 1:1 but won't be eventually. As for bugs yea they should be similar

XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is built from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) and LineageOS with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".

Nothing with the date. It is just a build date.

Yes sir. Your date format makes sense but is also confusing. We typically see the month number proceed the day number but that's not important. Hope this rom kicks ass. Wouldn't flash for me though.
Sent from my XT1806 using Tapatalk
Haha, depends on locale. In the US it's month/day. Around Europe and some other parts day/month is the norm.
It can get confusing sometimes.

I'm going to respectfully bow out of this one because you could never say that to my face. The rom just kept giving me error 7 in twrp. No worries. Best of luck to you.

Why do you speak down to people who are having an issue installing your rom? I was going to give it a shot but after your defense against date confusion and then attack a members IQ because of issues with installing states alot about yours. Who needs it
@treyweez11, I also get error 7. Probably just doesn't like our TWRP or something. That happens. I removed the assert lines in the updater script and it flashed okay. Testing ROM now.
@ruturajjena, that child-like reaction of yours is unacceptable. You could've matched respect with respect but chose the low road. For something so minor. He didn't say anything about you nor the ROM (other than error 7. Never heard of it before?).
How are you going to handle all the questions, requests, complaints, incomplete bug reports, or posts that seem to question your skills because something doesn't work for them.
Battery sucks. Your fault.
Laggy. Your fault.
Poor signal. Your fault.
Usw.
I hope you don't plan to handle those with insults.
On to business. XenonHD has always been a cool ROM. One of my faves during the LP and MM days. Kind of skipped N.
I see that it is LOS-based this time around. It's not weighted down with a ton of features or customization which might please some folks.
VoLTE is there. Nova is default launcher. Nice.
The Browser Installer is the coolest thing. Haven't seen that on any ROMs I've used so far. There are times when I just don't like what comes with a ROM. This tool should be the norm.
Have to wait 'til later to give it a full workout with gapps and root. BTW, it seems to have LineageSU but for ADB only.

Some people will never look after the hard work you do. They will never appreciate it and will always try to troll you for little mistakes and bugs. It's better to stay away from development.

[8.1.0][SANDERS][ROM] Resurrection Remix v6.2.1 (UNOFFICIAL)

This is a lightly customized variant of Resurrection Remix for the Moto G5S Plus (sanders). I aim to build at least once a month, ideally soon after each monthly security update is merged into the RR tree.
On top of the official version of Resurrection Remix for sanders (which is already great!), there's a handful of tweaks I've made:
Lightly-customized kernel based on RR stock
Power-efficient workqueues
NVIDIA's "relaxed" power-optimized functions
Bringup to 3.18.124
TurboPower charger support
ARCore smart selection model files
Slightly improved APK read performance
GSS garbage collection for ART
Zopfli-compressed APKs conserve space on system partition without incurring additional performance overhead
Enabled use of SIMD instructions (armv8 NEON) in aac/amrwb/h264 codecs
Tweaked some OpenGL ES wrapper methods from regular JNI to fast JNI, which should reduce JNI overhead
ScrollView tweaked for responsiveness
JNI, DisplayService, Vulkan, and OpenGL built with -O3 (yes, this may or may not be a gimmick - figured it was worth a shot)
ROM DownloadPatcher Download (all tweaks used on top of official RR)
Instructions
If coming from a ROM other than Resurrection Remix, you should factory reset before flashing this ROM. Otherwise, you are advised to wipe system, cache, and Dalvik cache partitions before continuing, although a dirty flash without any wiping will probably work too.
If you're coming from official Resurrection Remix, you should probably be able to dirty flash from the latest official version at all times.
After flashing, flash Gapps/Magisk other mods that you want to use; this ROM does not include any of those things.
FAQ
Does this ROM support VOLTE?
If the official release has it, this should too; I did not (and don't know how to) make any changes regarding VOLTE. It did disappear for a short while at the end of the 6.0.0 versions, for some reason, but it seems that it's been added back. Of course, VOLTE support is dependent on your network connectivity/regional availability and your carrier.
Does this ROM support WiFi calling?
Yes. Check in the dialer settings. Again, this feature is dependent on your carrier. Not all carriers that claim to support WiFi calling on your device may work with this ROM.
Does this ROM have GApps? Magisk?
No and no. Flash them yourself if you want to use them.
Yes, this post is kind of ugly. I might make it better later, but everything you need to know is more or less here.

I'm not sure what you're referring to, so I think the answer is probably no. If you could link me to what you're talking about, that would be appreciated.

No worries! My wording is complicated there and I should probably fix it. No, this is not somehow modified from the actual .zip that Resurrection Remix officially distributes. This is built from the Resurrection Remix sources. "From scratch", if you will. This is also not based anyhow off of the official stock Oreo ROM from Motorola (as suggested by the thread that you linked).

Please do. I'm curious if the battery is good, is the ROM stable, and hows the overall experience compared to other ROMs or even the official latest rr.
People seem to want screenshots for some reason. Here's a bunch. Customizations mostly.

Battery us good. The ROM is stable and buttery smooth.
There are many customizations which are not present in the official RR.
With the integration of Alice kernel things have become too much good.

Nothing to worry about. Just a notification that SELinux is permissive. This is part of the new Trust interface that LineageOS has implemented (which has trickled through to RR).
I like this ROM a lot, but I've got a few issues. I have to use Universal Safetynet Fix to pass SafetyNet, otherwise I get a CTS Profile Mismatch error. With USF flashed though, I get a vendor mismatch error on startup (which I can just dismiss). Additionally, on every boot I am asked to select my launcher even if I have saved it.
Possibly better EIS performance? Yes and no xD
Long time ago, some users flash a Magisk Module for MI A1. The module add enable EIS and tweak a little with other lines. Im only take persist line to enable EIS and share a zip to the Sanders Telegram group. Its a parcial solution, tested on 720p/1080p but on 4K not get working. Good work bro and like more that type of thread, no ugly, "minimal" style

Second, sir, how'd you get that transparent theme going there? I'm looking while waiting for a response

Valerie Substratum theme. Easily the best IMO because of that glass effect. Dope.
