Panasonic P81 (Clone of Coolpad 7320) Cyanogen Custom ROM - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I own a Panasonic P81 phone which I rooted and I have installed custom MiUi 4.12.5 v5-6 ROM. After installing I realized that my phone heats up a lot and multi-tasking is no more possible. Available RAM has decreased and now I have even lost superuser rights. I tried finding cyanogen for my device but was unsuccessful. I wished some developer could breach into the existing versions of cyanogenmod and make them compatible to my phone somehow. Or maybe help me out with the existing issues on my phone. I am obsessed with customizability and wish to run the phone perfectly normal. Language in the settings irritate me at times for some features. English needs to be there everywhere.
Please help me out, developers!

[Q] Huawei Ascend Y511 U30 new Android with german language

Hello,
this is my first thread so please be gentle
I'll start by describing my problem:
My father bought my mother this phone during their holidays in Taiwan. They forgot asking wether german was a possibility as system language. This sadly isn't the case. Also the installed Android version seems a bit laggy (can't attest to how fluid it should be but it just seems less responsive than a new phone should be).
I've never had an Android but I'm very good at doing "computer-stuff". I've tried googleing this problem and found, that I'd need to flash a new ROM on the phone. I already read about Cyanogenmod (but just a little) and this was my first idea.
Will Cyanogen run on this device? Which ROM should I use? If this is not the solution what would be? The Version I would want to install should be most responsive and with as little unnecessary apps as possible.
I hope you can help me with this problem.

Micromax A104

Hello XDA Community,
long time not see..., anyway, i just learned how to root, customized my phone with PussyFap2.5 (Custom Rom) to look like the Android Lollipop 5.0.1 Update. And there one little problem starts to begin. I have the exact same phone, you can call it Mircomax A104 or just Canvas Fire 2. My Android Version was 4.4.2 since i got the Phone. The only problem was, that it had NEVER any Android Update. So i just googled a little bid and found this Custom ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/rom-*****-fap-v2-5-fire-2-t3104349).
My Questions
1. When i go to Setting --> Android Version it say's "5.0.1" and on Model Number "Android One", so my question is, is my Version now still the same (4.4.2) or is it really 5.0.1, cause I don't think so (just a Custom ROM). About the Model Number we dont need to talk  it's still the one and only A104.
2. On the Original ROM, so when i got the phone fresh out of the package, Vanilla Android 4.4.2. It had on Settings --> Keyboard and Input --> an Application where there was 20 Indian Languages. But ufortunately I dont know it's name or anything about it. I want only this App and no other like Swiftkey, or a cheap App on the PlayStore, because this Keyboard was so good.
3. I found a lilttle "HINT" on question 3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5g9WihZf0Y This guy uses this Keyboard, whats it's name please?
Sincerely
Los Kirat

c5 ultra custom roms

hi , ı need c5 ultra ( E5553) custom rom ...
Yes, we are all waiting for a custom rom, there are many others like yourself in the queue.
Unfortunately, by the looks of things it'll take some time, many months at the earliest!
We are yet to find root access for the device...
That said, the stock firmware is still very good, fast, stable and butter smooth...
What I'm really dying for is root access to gain battery improvements as well as using other apps that require root access.
Also, it would be great to remove the bloatware that comes pre-installed with the device.
I'm missing Xposed & Titanium backup, BADLY!!!
Ps. Once we get Android 6.0 Marshmallow, this device will rock!
will be great
i-m wating for the 6.0 updated, bro if u can root this device let me know i just by this device and i-m dying to enjoy all root greatness and i hope someday this device can run with cyanogenmod (13) as well , greeetings from Mexico

How to remove root completely from Poco F1 installed with Android 9 based custom roms

Dear All,
I have bought POCO F1 in the first sale and I am very happy with its performance. Once there were Android Pie based custom roms, I have enthusiastically tried some of them. I have to thank all developers here for their relentless efforts in bringing the most updated features to our beloved POCO F1. I just have a small problem, I rely a lot on banking apps and all of them complaint that my device is rooted on Android 9 roms. I know that I can hide root by using Magisk but I dont want to use it. I want to know how to remove the root completely rather than hide it. So, Kindly give me some information as to how Android 9 based rom can be completely unrooted.
Unistall Magisk
I have the same issue......my ROM came prerooted.....is there to remove root completely....
You'll have to try different ROMs until you find one that works for you (i'd Start from Pixel experience)
I never had this problem so i have a feeling that you might have missed a step.
(Did you wipe system, data, davlik before flashing?)
(Did you flash an encryption disabler? because you shouldn't)
Just flash a stock Fastboot package. That's the only true reliable way to "unroot" a device.
If your ROM came pre-rooted, it's either a crap ROM or is still being built in userdebug mode for dev purposes. If it's the latter, unrooting is a bad idea and probably won't solve anything anyway. So either accept it, or use a different ROM.

Pros and cons flashing custom rom like lineago OS

Hello, I used to have Samsung S1 for years with Cyanogenmod which was absolute blast compared to stock ROM.
Then I bought Poco F1, I bought it ~year ago from Gearbest and there is no waranty or anything and since stock ROM didint had any problems I didint flashed it. I receive updates still and apart from crapware(maybe pyware too for chinese gov) which cant be removed I dont have any problems with it.
I didint follow the "scene" for a while. So I wanted to ask what are benefits and cons when going custsom ROM? ( I m interestsed in Lineage mostly).
Thing I miss most in old roms when screen goes off or on there used to be "old CRT TV effect" that was just way too cool
Benefits
1) Smoother experience than stock (Android Gestures is way better than Xiaomi's)
2) Faster Version updates and Security updates
3) No recommendations (ads) Telemetry and Tracking from Xiaomi (I know you said you don't mind, but I personally do not like it)
4) As you have pointed out, ability to Mod the Rom as per your desire
5) You can even go google free in Lineage OS
Cons
1) Updating ROM might not be as smooth as updating MIUI
2) You lose a lot features Xiaomi offers (I personally love the automatic shutdown and turn on feature. I have not been able to replicate it in a Custom Rom)
