Is anyone else noticing some stuttering simply scrolling through homscreen pages? Not all the time but frequent enough to notice. European version with b121.

There is definite stuttering every now and then scrolling through homescreen pages, it is not as smooth as even the Honor 3C which I also have. I think the cpu is downclocked too far. It goes to 400mhz, my previous snapdragon 615 phone with same cortex a53 had a minimum of 800mhz.
No stuttering what so ever here and no bad display either. You better return your H7, it must be faulty.

Don't think its faulty, what fault could cause such lag? The lag is minor but there. The display has same light bleed seen on every video of EU version so all must have it (across the top and bottom of left/right side), I guess some people just don't notice, same with digitizer.

Check with white background in normal lighting and about medium brightness, that is where I notice it most. Btw this is not my picture but taken from youtube review of eu version. Mine is exactly the same.

Just received OTA update here in Belgium (build MEC23G) and aside of the new gestures (wich are quite nice) and other small modifications...they seems to have fixed the ugly always on mode!!
Now, the always on mode looks like the dim settings in the watchfaces making apps (seems like they finally agreed to disable the low bit ambient mode)

EDIT 2: about battery life; watch fully charged, put off the charger at 12, moderate use with notifications on, wifi on, always on mode on and wrist activation on, still 42% at 2am (14h later so). Not bad for myself, but can't really tell if worse or better than previous firmware (the watch was a birthday present, got it only since 28th of january)
And as for the lags, all clear also until now.
Waiting for it in Italy!!! How about battery life and lags?

Can't tell about battery life yet, as the update popped during this afternoon
Will charge it up this night, and check for it tomorrow.
And for the lags, all clear for now (except when apps are syncing...whiwh is pretty normal behaviour)

Has that been confirmed? What's that hole under the mic?
Already been confirmed by various teardownd, and even by motorola that the 360 doesn't have speaker. The hole under the mic is only a lip for removing the back of the watch.
And as i said before, nothing in the menus either about the presence of speaker support (but but not really a surprise, as the watch isn't supposed to carry one)

Clearly know what you mean, i was really disapointed too by ambient mode before update (even thought i had a defective unit at first, then checked online and realise it was a "feature" :/ )

This is a temporary screen burn in. Install blue light filter, set it to 5% and you won't have screen burn ins in the future.
I was seeing very similar things on my G5 for a couple weeks and it seems to have just disappeared. For me, I think it was just a wonky software thing, either with LG or Nova Launcher.
Funny this thread popped up. Had my g5 for about 6months and all of a sudden I'm experiencing screen burn in. A lot.

I just checked mine and i have it since day one but luckily i don't have any screen retention at all i must be lucky this time with my phone because every other model i had i was always having one of the major issues.

Does it really reduce the image retention?
I've had my phone for any 6 months too and that's happening. I can even see some of the webpage of previous apps on the home screen. If anyone has a solution that would be great.
Those is not software issue like someone said. It happened on the V10, G4 and now G5. For some reason more on the G5. If you are rooted, install CF.Lumen and change the color temperature to 6000k. Reduce it if you still experience it. If you are not rooted, use the app Blue Light Filter (for me just 10% did the trick). If you use Blue Light Filter, you'll need to disable it before granting new permissions to apps. Let me know if you guys need more help.
Btw, this is not permanent burn in like on Samsung. It will go away after 10 minutes or so.

The tech has told me that in some versions the OPX are like that. It is true?

Maybe with an app that can detect all harware and you could check (CPU-Z for ex ?)
My OPX has the little marks like that. They're kinda dark though, so I can't ascertain the colour.
E1003 here, screen replaced by 1+ and they're perfectly gray.

Yeah, I think so too. The champagne version has orange tinted "buttons".
It can't be the Champagne variant, as that one has a white front.
Just found a video from Honor facebook, which shows a sneak peak at the design.

China has launched the Honor 10! There are four colors: toned green, toned blue, black and your favorite grey. Not sure if the Europe version will have a grey one. If the price will not be higher than $450, I would like to buy the toned green one.

Is pricing outside India is very competitive as its priced less than the View 10, whereas in India it clashes with the OP6 and I feel many would choose the OP6 over honor 10.

Hah, yes. It is the l09 variant ordered from clove in the uk. I reset to defaults w no real results. More bad photos attached. This was a challenging environment, to be fair but the wife’s Xs handled it like a champ.

Try taking your photos with vivid colors turned off. I didn't like the way they looked on mine.

Turn everything off, AI, HDR etc. Then take a daylight photo. If it's still bad, it's probably hardware. Funny that a Huawei tech is recommending using a 3rd party camera app as a fix... smh
That last photo doesn't look too bad. Just a bit too much smoothing. Also look at EXIF of your photos. In bright daylight, ISO should be pretty low (under 100) and shutter speed high.

Don't use HDR mode, let the camera do it auto. 10mp.
Even auto 10mp gives wildly inconsistent results.
Huawei tech recommended trying a different camera app, but I'm leaning toward a system reload.

I've been using the Mate 20 Pro since it came out almost 2 years ago... always had great pictures, didn't notice any difference with 10.1. Still great.
Your pictures are definitely odd. I take pictures inside too and look nothing like yours. If a device reset and using default settings doesn't work, it has to be a faulty camera hardware.
