How to install (v9)
Ensure that you have stock (I8160XXMG2) Jelly Bean installed & Temporary CWM6 on your external sdcard (requirements). If you don't have them already:
-Follow this guide to flash stock Jelly Bean firmware.
-Copy Temporary CWM6 on your external sdcard.
Copy KYRILLOSv9.JB.XXMG2 to your sdcard.
Press Vol up + Home + Power button to enter Recovery.
Part 1: Stock Recovery:
- Wipe data/factory reset - Yes [Optional but recommended]
- Apply Update from external storage
- Then select the CWM6 recovery that you downloaded before.
Part 2: CWM6 Recovery
- CWM6 Recovery will show up!
- Select install zip from sdcard, choose zip from sdcard, navigate and choose Kyrillosv9.JB.XXMG2.zip - yes.
- [I8160P only]If your model is I8160P, then flash this after the rom installation is completed.
- Select reboot system now - no

Note: If you are on any custom JB rom (CM, PAC, etc), install the rom from recovery, wipe data/factory reset & then flash stock XXMG2 kernel.

Odin (to flash the above) [Download: http://d-h.st/nK3]
How to install (v5)
(Skip this step if you are outside of europe) Ensure that you have I8160XXLL2 installed + custom kernel (requirements). If you don't have them already installed:
-Follow this guide to flash stock firmware
-Then go again in download mode and flash the kernel this time. [WARNING!! THE COUNTER WILL GO TO 1 AND YOU WILL LOSE WARRANTY!!]. When the phone boot up again, shut it down.
Copy KYRILLOSv5.GB.XXLL2 to your sdcard.
Press Vol up + Home + Power button to enter Custom Recovery.
With the volume button navigate to wipe data/factory reset and press the home button to do it (Warning! You will lose all your data).
Then go to install zip from sdcard => choose zip from sdcard and select KYRILLOSv5.GB.XXLL2. Wait for about 2 minutes for the process to be completed and reboot your phone.

why people make all this custom roms with UI or sound from ICS or JB, if this GB, just leave original sounds and look, or make some new UI and sound by yourself, or just download some different stuff... All this looks like fake for me, fake JB... but anyways, + for AOSP Gingerbread look)

I've been testing your ROM and everything works fine until now, GPS, WIFI, Music player etc. I'll continue testing.
I have some suggestions.
1 The battery % is completely impossible to read, it's way to small, I've seen battery mods with larger %.
2 The font is a little small I think original font is much easier to read.
3 Could we have screen off CRT animation?

Found a problem speruser aplication not working...
When I try to open titaniumbackup or run "su" in terminal both aplications hang... asking for root rigths...
I tried to wide data, clear cache ,clear dalvik cache, and reflashing the ROM and still get the hangs when trying to get root.

This rom has a feel of stock GingerBread. The JB ui sounds are better than the stock samsung ones. I couldn't find the AOSP Gingerbread sounds

1. Its the only STOCK GB battery with % percent.
2. Yeah maybe. I will upload the stock font too for the people that want it.
3. I had it enabled until today, but i disabled it because there were some antifacts. Samsung problems..

Sorry forgot to mention that root doesn't work unless you enable USB DEBUGGING. I will add it to the first post now.

I will attach a newer version of the mod, but keep in mind that it doesnt work right. It needs coding to modify some of the samsungs code in libsurfaceflinger that i dont have.

4.1 First Boot Will Always be SLOW., DON'T PANIC - just let the system to set it self..
4.2 See the Samsung Welcome Screen .. ? You Have Flashed The ROM Succesfully...:good:

5.0 The Rom is now stable enough... Now Follow below steps to activate tweaks.
5.1 After Finishing Setup, Open MyFiles (Do NOT use X-Plore) and go to Device Storage(Internal SdCard) and open " HydroniumROM " Folder.
5.2 You will see these Five(5) Files

Wanam.Xposed.TiBkp

5.3 Tap on the first file, Grant SuperSu Root Permision when asked., and then Select " Data only ".
5.4 Do the above step when you tap on second file and so..on.
5.5 After restoring Data from all 5 files., Open Xposed Installer and
5.6 Tap " Framework "and Press " Install/update " Grant root permission press "OK"
5.7 Reboot Now..-- You Have now finshed installing this ROM..:good:

1. Did you do a Full Wipe of your DATA ?
2. Was Stock ROM Installed Before You Flashed my ROM
3. Errors on Not Working Phone -- Try flashing Modem.bin and cache.img
4. Accuweather Widget - Clear Data of TouchWiz Launcher...
can you Provide me logcat for these force closes.. ?
Edit - I Flashed the Rom and tested myself, I found NO issues on Phone or Accuweather..

No changes are made in notification panel.. it is as it is...
Well, It's based on a stock rom including all samsung's stuff - but modified and still contains the stock samsung stuff .. So could we call it a Custom-stock-ROM.

For now, This Rom is Only for SM-P601.. I'm planning to add support for SM-P600 in future..
Although it works fine for the p600. Just have to disable the phone stuff

You can use your old phone & contacts app for time being..that came with stock P601..
And , a bug has been confirmed while trying to move the accuweather widget after adding it to homescreen..

Last night flashing i didn`t install stock rom prior to installing your rom & with data wipe still had the phone issue.
Today even with installing stock rom , issue still persists, only the revert zip file solved the issue.
Hope you can resolve this issue soon,
Love the look & feel of your rom ( especially the contacts & phone from Tab S ) that I am sure will be resolved soon.
The accuweather widget press bug still excists for the p600 version. Touchwiz also crashes when I press the downloaded apps button in the app drawer. Anybody else get this?

Some elements of the statusbar are english after first boot; make a fast reboot. This happened only for the first boot.

Tips & Info:
1. Since I had recieved too much questions about it, this rom is based on G920F (S6) 5.0.2 Chinese build, with framework edited to run Note 5 Touchwiz 5.1.1 plus various 5.1.1 Note 5 system apps. This is why you'll find 5.1.1 in device info.
Kernel and all part essentially (like GPU drivers, kernel, modules and libs) of course are still S4 5.0.1 one otherwhise device can't run.
2. Hear Uncle Albe, make Wipe Data before installing the rom and don't blame me about stupid and newbie dirty flash
3. Uncheck diagnostic report on security and privacy If you got mobile network disconnected.
4. If while unlocking you randomly get camera open and to speed up the home button disable from the Camera app the opening with the double tap of home button.
5. You got reboot or not complete instalation on OC1/OF1 there a workaround
Please read read read
- Download I9505XXUHPA1 and place on sdcard
- Open FlashFire
- Press the "+" button and select "Flash firmware package"
- Add I9505XXUHPA1
- Select only (System, Cache, Hidden)
- Press on EverRoot and tick "Inject SuperSU"
- Press FLASH then OK.
- After it boot to stock I9505XXUHPA1 , Do the OC1/OF1 instructions to Install this Rom.

Flash went flawlessly...thank you! However, I am unable to connect to Verizon's network. I occassionally get visual notifcation that I have service (reception level icon flashes on) but it quickly disappears and gives me the no network connection icon ("O" with a line through it.)
For the life of me I can not locate APN settings.
Thoughts?

I had modded build.prop and added vzw ril and apn config.
I will dig on this soon since I have non vzw sim I can add apn manualy and its work.
Uncheck diagnostic report on security and privacy it may help as reprted by some users.
finally gave up on the s3 eh :/
Might try this when I get my MicroSD but prolly only for a bit since I abhor the new UI(personal preference)

Still updating safestrap recovery but the superlite ROM will not get any update.
I hate that kernel patched on 5.0.1 but I will get safestrap to work soon.
I got the recovery loaded but not entering the ui. And the hijack method that work at system load time also risky.

I've already installed via SafeStrap using same instructions and files (except rom, obvious ) from [PORT][ROM] Albe95 S6 FULL PORT 4.7 [S6/Edge Plus/N5 FEATURE PORT] (UPDT 12/8/15), it's working fine, the only thing that is not working for me (not listed on bugs) is the air command -> smart select but nevermind! I love this rom!

Since the Galaxy S4 does not have a Wacom digitizer and therefore no S-Pen support, how would I use the S Note app? I did note in a quick Google search some mention of a C-Pen being supported, but that is just a plain jane capacitive pen, right? Never mind. I figured out that though the second icon from the left of the S Note widget allows for S-Pen input only, the rightmost one allows for notes to be taken with capacitive input. Nice
One bug to bring to the dev's attention. The proximity sensor does not work. I tried disabling and reenabling it in the dialer settings to no avail. As a result, during a call, the screen will remain on and take inadvertent input from your face pressing up against the screen.

I dont have MDK bootloader but I now that MDK user need to flash loki'd kernel If Im not wrong.
the ROM has stock OC1 kernel that not loki'd and ROM not have script to do that
So the instruction to be as that you enter twrp >> WIPE >> flash the ROM >> flash the loki'd kernel >> reboot

Since the Galaxy S4 does not have a Wacom digitizer and therefore no S-Pen support, how would I use the S Note app? I did note in a quick Google search some mention of a C-Pen being supported, but that is just a plain jane capacitive pen, right? Never mind. I figured out that though the second icon from the left of the S Note widget allows for S-Pen input only, the rightmost one allows for notes to be taken with capacitive input. Nice
One bug to bring to the dev's attention. The proximity sensor does not work. I tried disabling and reenabling it in the dialer settings to no avail. As a result, during a call, the screen will remain on and take inadvertent input from your face pressing up against the screen.

So the instruction to be as that you enter twrp >> WIPE >> flash the ROM >> flash the loki'd kernel >> reboot

Thanks! This build also seems to run the CPU to very high utilization because my battery drained extremely fast (1% per 5-10 minutes) and my phone was hot to the touch. I don't notice these issues in other ROMs (rooted debloated stock or stang5litre). I like the UI in this ROM the most so I will keep an eye on this and try it out from time to time to see how it progresses. Hope my comments help!

I use a non-MDK S4, specifically one with of1, using the stock kernel. I am relatively new to this mind-bending game of Android rooting because of the shackled-down state of affairs for of1 until recently. I was shocked just a few days ago to find out that rooting was a thing of reality, so I find my nerdy, techie self modding. (I personally haven't done this sort of modding with handheld devices since the days of my HP iPAQ 110, Casio Cassiopeia E-125 and Dell Axim x51v.) My understanding is an oc1 or of1 kernel-updated S4 like mine cannot use anything but stock. I would love to put a custom kernel, like the AIO kernel TW 5.0.1, on it if it is possible. Is it? Thank you for being so helpful!

Installing a custom ROM requires TWRP, and installing a modified binary such as TWRP, will increase our knox timer to 0x1, restricting us to use most of the knox features and without a way to reset it. - What's dual statusbar (DSB) ?
+ The mod consists on duplicate the statusbar size and unlock more "positions" on "Statusbar views position" on DRC. This will give us more space to place our views like carrier, network speedmeter, batteries, icons, etc ...
- How can I activate dual statusbar ?
+ Once you flashed the ROM, you have a zip on the internal memory called DUAL_SB. This zip will detect which statusbar you have and change it. So it's valid too to revert dual to single.
- Why the statusbar custom background takes some time to be shown after a reboot ?
+ This happens only with images (not colors nor gradient), and it have a reason, when the device is booting, the UI can't access to your internal memory (for security reasons), so, when the mod tries to load the image, it fails. On the past this give us a headache with force-closes and not showing images. Now it simply will load it when the system sends the flag BOOT_COMPLETED. How much time it takes ? Not much really, from 10 seconds up to 1:30min.
- Where I can find backgrounds that fits with dual statusbar ?
+ We added a folder on your internal memory called DLX_BGS with more than 50 designs. If is not enough, you can always use any other image...
- Why I can't enter to the sub-screens on DRC ?
+ The statusbar views have a "master" preference called "Icons hidden", ALL the icons picked here won't be visible on the statusbar and the sub-screens will be disabled (why would we edit preferences without show the view ?). Don't forget to un-hide before edit them.
- DRC needs root and busybox to work ?
+ No. ONLY the kernel configurations needs root and busybox (both).
- I need mTweaks to configure DeluxeKernel ?
+ NO. You have a screen on DRC to configure it, so, don't use other apps while you're on this kernel.
- I switched to permissive but it doesn't change.
+ First of all check root and busybox, if they are ok wait few minutes. Sometimes magisk is slow to grant the root. This applies to all kernel configurations.
- I rebooted and I'm again on enforcing SELinux.
+ The boot is always with the default values, and as the statusbar, when the flag BOOT_COMPLETED is sent, kernel configurations are applied.
- If I flash another kernel, will DRC override kernel configurations ?
+ No, if is not the kernel provided, DRC won't show you the preferences related and won't apply them, so you can still using the app provided (usually) with the kernel.
- Double tap to wake doesn't works as expected with AOD.
+ Known issue, but no solution for now. (AOD have already a double tap to wake with the home button without press it, maybe is enough with it )
- What's the "Fingerprint wake-on" exactly ?
+ I made it thinking on the S7 where the user needs to press the button to wake-up the screen, but is good for us if we don't want to wast battery with the sensor. If it's disabled, fingerprint stills working, but won't wake up the device.

I like 3minit clock because there a tons of settings and customizations(also a little bit more than RC - i miss german date settings^^) . Yeah i look'd up to all RC settings.
To rambar - 4 me i think it's too far down (i only know it on top) . Look at my attachment

After installation on my S8-fd, I have to play with Magisk manager and enable permission, after that can start Rom control. Then, no root, and installed Magisk 16.4, enable System ui permision for Superuser. After that, reboot menu worked.
But, still can not enable OEM unlock. What to do?
Gear vr and Dex working? What about people with OEM issues?

The Magisk "fight" are explained on the FAQ, but well, u made it working.
OEM unlock, the ROM contains RMM patch so u shouldn't have that problem. All my testers never faced problems with that so.... i'm not sure what happened.

Gear VR are tested, DEX I don't have, but I don't removed anything related, so it will work.
OEM as I said, have RMM patch so it shouldn't have any problem.

I have flashed this Rom right now to test it and what should i say? Wow. It feels really fast! I have seen the animations in developer options are set to 0.5 but also with default settings 1.0 it feels still really fast. Amazing.
Only 1question. You also have debloat the setup wizard (or something was going wrong on my end)? After first boot i can't set up my phone with wifi, Google account, Samsung account, Google assistant etc. to restore all my apps and settings. It's a bit awkward to restore all that stuff later manually.
Flashed on my note 8, clean installation with DBT CSC (Germany) and SuperSU.

Important instruction for ROM Tool - After clean install ROM Tool should ask supersu permission on first boot, if you don't see call then manually check magisk/supersu log
- Multi CSC. It contains many CSC inside (All included under 'OXM') and will auto installed. If you have other CSC installed (Other than Original One), you may get message to RESET after first boot. In that case, you will lose root and have to flash magisk again to retain root access.
- Xposed Installer Pre installed without framework
If you don't using xposed - simply uninstall it as regular user app and it won't change anything
If you want to use xposed - Open Xposed installer from app drawer - Click on cloud symbol below - Install/Update - Select 'Install' - Grant SU access -
Reboot when script run and ask to reboot. First time it may take longer to boot.
After boot, you will have Xposed ready to use.

Installation and Download
For S8+ (G955) users
Important :
- This will void warranty.
- As of now you will lose Samsung Pay and Secure folder forever if you root once, even unrooting won't help. (hope in future we can get it working on tripped knox device)
- OTA likely won't work once you root device.
Installation :
If you are on stock ROM/Recovery, follow below said steps
1.Enable Developer Option (settings - about phone - Software information - Tap 7 times on build number to activate developer option in settings menu)
2.Enable OEM Unlock from developer option (If you don't have this option then read this you can't flash ROM before this option available.)
3.Download and copy ROM File to Ext SD card, Use ES file/Root explorer or any similar to check MD5, it should be match with provided in download section.
4.Download official TWRP
5.Switch Off device
6.Press Vol down + Bixby + Power to reboot to download mode, press volume up when asked to continue to download mode
7.Download Odin and open it, Disable 'Auto reboot' from option menu of Odin
8.Select TWRP (tar image) with AP tab of Odin and Start
9.Once Successfully flashed, you will see 'Passed' in Odin tab
10.Disconnect device and hold Vol down + power till screen goes off, Now immediately press Vol Up + Bixby + Power to reboot to TWRP
11.Select to allow modification
12.From TWRP, Select WIPE menu - Then FORMAT DATA - You need to type 'yes' to perform wipe. WARNING : This will erase all data including Int SD storage from device
13.Once format device completes, go back and select REBOOT' Menu and then - 'RECOVERY', This will reboot to TWRP again
14.Now select Install and navigate path to Ext SD card - ROM zip file, you have copied earlier
15.Let device boot, and read ROM specific Instructions below.
If you are on CWM recovery and custom ROM already, Follow below said steps.
1.Download ROM zip and place on Int Storage/Ext SD and check MD5
2.Reboot to recovery and select factory reset and flash ROM zip you have copied in step 1.

Some ROM specific instructions
1. On boot, you may not able to use ROM tool or some few features for first few minutes. This issue explained in MustRead.txt file in download area.
3.Since Pie version, OEM is pre-fixed with kernel patch and after flashing ROM, you may find OEM option in developer settings but it will be disable, it is actually because of hack/fix applied. In real case if it is disabled then you may not able to boot rom with TWRP. Simply ignore it.
Read ChangeLog of ROM you are going to flash for any specific instructions. Link to changelog is available in next post below.
Can I dirty flash (without factory reset) ROM? No, We don't recommend it. If you are able to handle consequences with dirty flash then proceed, but don't post bugs in forum without clean installing ROM.

This ROM is ditto of my Note 8 ROM except changed Base to S8+ to make it stable for this device. Indeed spend only few hrs to made this.
I may not regular update this ROM as I don't have S8+ access always, I have made this for my daughter so sharing it here if any users want to use it. I will look into it if there is major bug there. In future I may update ROM if get chance but NO promise.

Not tested on S8 but it should work. Keep S8 kernel on device if requires. Let me know if any issue then I will check it.
S8 950F booted fine with Nox 16... testing rom right now, everything seems to work great and lots of customization. TNX alot!

Included didn even try, i flashed nox 16 straight after your super rom.

flashed on s8 950f no problem thanks for the rom
Two battery icons.(one is default samsung theme and other is black themed )
This two are not working.

ROM tool have option to hide one battery, if you have double icons even after selecting stock icon in rom tool then might be theme causing it
As workaround try this
Select 3minit, this will disable Samsung stock icon, and disable 3minit icon from 3minit app
Those two features are likely csc related and may needed some modification in system.

No luck...still have two battery. In status bar all is perfect but in setting two battery options.

Funny thing is that I have only stock theme no other installed.
Also this happens when i change navbar hight.

Can you link me that? Navbar height can be bcoz of different size of display, can be fixed.
Can you show me clear image of statusbar? I can see single icon only. Possibly blank space both the side is bcoz of different size of s8 s8+, also easy to fix probably
