Anker PowerCore+ 10050 - 10K mAH Power Bank with Quick Charge 2.0 - Nexus 6 Accessories

Anyone has this power bank?
If yes, how do you find it with Nexus 6? I meant the charging speed.
This is quite small power bank that has quick charge 2.0 support.
I think it's the smallest in the world, at least for now.
http://www.amazon.com/Quick-Charge-Anker-PowerCore-10050/dp/B013HSQXZC
It also can be fast charged using quick charge wall charger.
I don't like big bulky power bank.

Nice! I wanna buy it.

Quick Charge 2.0

According the specification out V10 supports Quick Charge 2.0.
Does this mean any charge that support Quick Charge 2.0 should work? or it more hit or miss?
I purchased this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0144S0PDK
and when I connect it I don't see it indicating quick charge.
thanks
This one is tricky. Regular high-amp (2.1A) chargers don't seem to do the trick; its more about amps AND volts on this phone. The only other charger I've gotten 'fast charging' to work with is the Motorola Turbocharger I got with my Nexus 6. I suppose if you found a charger that outputs the same amperage and voltage as the LG charger it would work, in theory.
The charger that came with mine is a fast charge charger. It shows fast charge when I plug it in.
The charger that comes with does indicate quick charging when I plug it in to it.
But the car charger that I purchased that claims quick charging support does not indicate quick charging when I plug it in.
Was looking for others experience to decide if I should return and complain.
Unless the chargers say that they are Quick Charge 2.0 or 3.0 they don't quick charge our phones. AC or Cigarette lighter charger. Now, there is at least one brand of charger out there that @ 5 volts DC used to charge my Note 2 at 1800mA, but it was smart not quick.
Sent from an AT&T LG V10
It does..i bought a quick charger for my htc one m9 before and it shows the fast charging when i tether the v10 to it
The phone will detect if it will quick charge when connected to a QC 2.0, you don't get a QC when you plug it in instantly, it will also depend on how much power you already have in the phone.
Aukey is a authorized with QC 2.0 and is listed in Qualcomm site.
I've got the power..

What RDI said.
"Quick Charge" is not "Fast Charge" or "Adaptive Charge" - All of my 2.4amp Fast Chargers do not charge the G4 or v10 any faster than an old iphone power cube. YMMV
The V10 is Quick Charge qc (Qualcomm) 2.0.
There are already a couple of threads on the subject. here and here
@ZEROLEMON_OFFICIAL makes one of the best IMHO. Anker, Aukey/Tronsmart, and Motorola Turbo Chargers have qc 2.0 compatible ones. (always a sale on groupon or slickdeals)
Our phone, like the LG G4 switches to Quick Charge when the main screen is off. And tones it down to standard charging speed if you have the main screen on. The v10 Quick Charges at about 2850mA, slightly faster than the G4 at 2000~2200mA, but slower than the Nexus 6 at 2700~3200mA.
Attached are results by CoNsPiRiSiZe on this AT&T variant, and mine on Tmobile variant. Also included is my USB Doctor Sleeve using a Motorola Turbo Charger plugged into the v10 with screen off.
I am using the Samsung adaptive car charger while driving and it shows fast charging on the lockscreen

I have paid version with notificaion ebabled. But you can run it, leave phone alone so it can meassure. Then turn on screen and screenshot results. It takes a few seconds before it drops or remeassures.
Do these really charge all that much faster than a 2.1a charger? Debating if it's worth it to go invest into a few of these QC chargers.
Thanks

QC 2.0 allows up to a maximum of 3A of current. Every QC 2.0 enabled device will vary slightly in how much power they can draw due to internal circuitry. The V10 charges at about 2.85A as shown by Clockcyle so yes, a QC 2.0 charger will charge faster than a standard 2.1A charger.
Excellent, thank you! Going to pick up some of them now then.

Droid Turbo 2 - Power Banks or Battery Packs?

Has anyone found a good power bank that can turbo charge the Turbo 2? I had the Aukey Charger for my Turbo 1, but it doesn't work for the Turbo 2 (AUKEY 10400mAh Portable External Battery Power Bank Fast Charger with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0) Anybody have any suggestions?
I have the Aukey 10400mah with the same results, pack will only turbo charge if phone is above 90% charged.
Also tired the Motorola Power Pack Slim 5100mAh, DT2 doesn't even detect a turbo charge when connected.
Even tried the Qi-Infinity 35,000mAh for the Surface Pro 4 that offers quick charge capabilities, DT2 didn't get above a 1000mA charge.
I can confirm that the TechMatte 5200mAh battery pack works with the DT2 @ 49% battery life, the pack will charge the phone to 100% with roughly 1/4 of charge remaining on the battery pack (Maxed out at a 3500mA charge rate, front end of the pack got very hot!). I'm going to try to get the DT2 below 10% to see how this pack will perform.

That is really disappointing to hear. Thanks for the info. Will your aukey 10400 power bank charge your DT2 regularly (without quick charge)? Mine will just turn off after about 10 seconds.

Nope, mine does the same and shuts off after 10 seconds.

I have the Anker PowerCore+ 10050. It has QC2.0 and works on my DT2. The only issue I've seen is that I think the first one I had was defective. It only charged 1.3 - 1.4 times.
The manufacturer stated only 50-60% efficiency from stated capacity, but that should still be at least 1.5x.

Powerbank with quick charge 3.0 won't work?

Anyone use a quick charge power bank to charge P10 before? I tried to use the PINENG power bank, it says support QC 3.0 but when I use it to charge my p10, the speed is same as normal non-QC power bank output.
I even use the original cable where my phone shows super charging when I use the cable with the original charger.
Any advice on this?

P10 is not QC 3.0, they use another system called supercharger. I think.

This is basically correct. The P10/P10+ (& all the P9/Mate9 etc variants before it) do not use Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology (QC2.0/QC3.0 etc). They use Huawei's own "FCP Fast Charging" technology in 2 variations... Fast (9V2A) and Super (4.5V5A) charging.
Certainly for mains wall chargers, you can only use Huawei's own branded chargers at the moment (the Super charger one that comes with the P10 or Fast charger ones available from various places online)
For portable batteries (Power Banks), until quite recently, only the Huawei/Honor 10000mAh Power Bank would Fast charge the P9/P10 etc ( https://www.vmall.eu/uk/huawei-10000mah-quick-charge-power-bank-black-ap08q-299470/) , however it appears that the Tronsmart Presto 10000mAh Power Bank ( http://www.tronsmart.com/products/tronsmart-presto-10000mah-quick-charge-3-0-power-bank ) will now also Fast charge as well. There are no Super charging Power Banks yet available.
The only Fast/Super car charger currently available is again Huawei's own... http://consumer.huawei.com/ae-en/mobile-phones/mate9/html/Accessory.htm
If you use a Qualcomm charger/Power Bank you'll only get, at most, a 5V2A charging rate, considerably slower than Fast or Super rates although certainly not that slow.
I hate using fast chargers for built in battery, batteries degrade faster, I am using my old samsung note 2 adapter with a good quality china cable with a type C adapter, although not fast charging, the charging rate is consider faster than most phones I used.

Old thread, but hey.
I used my Note 4 with fast charging for 2+ years now.
Battery barely degraded.
(I bought a new battery from Samsung, and well, I realized that battery life indeed was horrible since forever on this device.)
Thing is, batteries die after certain recharges and time. No matter how slow you charge your new S8+ for example, it will need a battery replacement by Samsung after 2-3 years.
Fast charge is also only used (any brand) if the battery can take it.
I have original huawei powerbank 10000mAh. I charge my P10 with original usb cable. P10 show "quick charge". When i use non original usb cable then show "charging normal".

Actually, there is now a Supercharge Power Bank which has only recently been released... the 10000mAh AP09S... https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Ori...pe-C-Cables-for-Huawei-Smart/32828182598.html
And for those wanting a bit more capacity, also relatively new is the 20000mAh AP20Q, but this is only Fast Charging, not Super... https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Ori...i-Portable-Charger-AP20Q-for/32826275887.html
Not tried either of them and they're not cheap, but if they're anything like the quality of my 10000mAh AP08Q then they'll be worth it.

I have the AP20Q and it's certainly worth it. Charges my P10+ from nothing to full in about an hour, and gives me about 40% after 15 mins. . its a tad heavy at 374g, but 100% a life saver! BTW... Added bonus, it comes with a small thin 30cm USBA => C charging cable that also supports fastcharge on mmy P10

Neither to be honest, they're Qualcomm quick chargers, you'll only get standard 5V2A charging out of them not fast (9V2A) or super (5V4.5A) charging.

The only car charger which will Super charge the P10 is the Huawei AP38.
Don't know what country you're in, but this is the link for Amazon UK https://www.amazon.co.uk/Huawei-Super-Charge-Charger-Cable-Black/dp/B06XQTYRC4
also available on other sites... Aliexpress for example... https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pr...A-1M-5A-Type-C-Quick/1239378_32799838750.html
or search google for Huawei AP38 for sites near you.

Blitzwolf BW-S9 mains charger supports FCP.
Sounds like chargers with one of these tech might be able to fast charge the Huawei (Power IQ / Ai Power / Smart Technology / VoltiQ / iSmart 2.0) at 9V 2A.
For instance i have the Aukey QC 3.0 car charger that seems to have AI power and it fast charges by Honor V 10.
https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Charger-Charge-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B01KZHKF4I
I have a QC 3 wall charger from Aukey and a Easy ACC power bank also with QC3.0 but neither of these fast charge my phone.
I bought the Huawei AP08Q. Feels like great build quality.
I have a P10 and when charging my P10 with my AP08Q I don't get the "green light" that is supposed to show up if I quick charge.
How do I know if it's fast charging my P10 or not? Any way to check my phone to see that?

Xiaomi 2C 20000 FCP works
I confirm that Xiaomi 2C 20000mah power bank supports FCP as stated in it's specs. Works with my Huawei Mate 9 in fast charge mode.
You can't go wrong with it with it's price of 25$ and weight of 350g.

S9+ won't fast charge using a power bank

I've bought 2 different QC power banks:
AIDEAZ Power Bank 20000mAh Portable Charger

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01JIYWUBA/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_Q997Cb1HQ367J
NONE of them fast charge my S9+ even though when I use the wall charger it fast charges. I even have a USB power meter to confirm that these power banks are only outputting 5V 1A.
I don't get it, works with wall charger, but not with power bank.. Anyone else have this issue, or can recommend a power bank that actually does fast charge?
SO FRUSTRATING!

Yeah, I don't get it. I thought it was just my phone, but then I tried my friends with the same result. Maybe it's got something to do with the carrier software? But I'm on Bell and my friend's on Rogers, so unless it's a Canadian thing.. weird.

Question Pixel 6 charging by pixel 4xl original charger

There are many charges out there and also many topics proves that Google Pixel 6 does not charge faster despite 30W fast chargers. I have two questions.
1. Can I go for anker 25w charger or 20w is sufficient. Also the third party chargers are good for battery health in long run.
2. My car charger I use currently for my Pixel 4 XL is 3amp. Again here, can I continue using it if it does not harm the battery health in a long run.
Posting the link below for anker 25w charger if it's good enough.

I bought massive 65W ugreen charger so that i can also use it for my laptop. Btw cable from pixel 6 works also with the laptop so is good quality. Using that charger with 35% battery when charging started i see charging current of around 4300 mAh which at 5V means around 22W maximum consumption. Any charger of 20W or higher should work great if it supports power delivery of course.
You can use any USB-C Power Delivery and/or PPS charger. I'm not sure what the Pixel 6 max charging rate is, the phone should negotiate the fastest rate the charger can handle.

I have the Anker Nano II 30W charger. It has all the PPS modes. Works great. According to FKM, a charge from 65-75% averaged around 27.7w. Haven't tested any further than that yet, though.
Actually I'm unable to get 30 w PPS chargers locally. So can I go with the below if it is safe for battery health and also does the job with intelligence of pps.
