Replacing Lollipop navigation icons -» with xposed module, quickly and easily - G4 Themes and Apps

Hello guys. A couple of months ago ffalete and me prepared a xposed module it LG G3 to a telephone. We did not like us Lollipop navigation icons, so we wanted to return to the old KitKat icons. I thought, if it works, this method is LG G4. I do not have such a phone, so I could not test. But a friend (Nagytoll) of mine helped me , and so we were able to test it. And yes, we have seen it work. And since it is a module, if you do not like something or not working well, it can turn off...
Three sizes are:
size "A" = Big
size "B" = Middle
size "C" = Small
One at a time (1) module is active or installed. Tested: Stock rom and Genisys Rom 2.1.

Currently only KitKat are icons, but soon to come:
Biohazard icon theme:
N51 icon theme:
Snake theme:
and much more....here you can watch the themes.
Any comments, tips, ideas, bugs, please write me an e-mail: [email protected]
Note: In this module, so we can put icons as you want. Need to add a little bit of knowledge: using Adobe Fireworks and use apktool. That's it.

Xstana is work on Lollipop? In this I was not sure / do not know. In this module, it is even good that it can do custom navbar icons. But, thanks for the tip.

Xstana isn't working properly on my LG G4 H815, it causes lag when using status bar and nav bar themes. It makes the app menu unable to open and I can't access apps through ROM Toolbox, either.

it opens but just takes very long.. dont know the reason why...
Sent from my LG-H815 using Tapatalk

When using only nav bar, it opens after roughly 10-20 seconds. When using both, it doesn't open or it takes so long I've been too impatient to wait longer I'll try only status bar later, but I've stopped using Xstana for the time being.

Immersive Mode?

One of my favorite updates that came with 4.4 was the ability, via xposed, to force immersive mode on specific apps. I know this is a 4.4 feature. I was wondering if there were any successful attempts to use an immersive mode xposed module on the HAM2. I have the US model (stuck with 4.3).
Or, at the very least, has there been any progress on making the nav+status bars 100% transparent? The transparency settings in Gravitybox don't do the trick.
Thank you.

There is a post in the General part named How to Hide the Grey Nav Bar on HAM2 Using Emotion UI Settings
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-mate2/general/how-to-hide-grey-nav-bar-ham2-using-t2886725
This can partially do the trick you need.
To utilize gravity box 100% transparent nav bar you need to change this in your build.prop
Code:
ro.config.hwtheme=0

I guess I should rephrase. The transparency with GB works but only on the homescreen. I'm looking for something that would maintain transparency in apps or would allow for immersive mode on a per app basis.
Which version of xposed and or gravity box do we need to use in order for this to happen, I changed the build.prop btw

Yeah this is good for the homescreen, but the problem I'm looking to solve is the wasted space in games and such. Immersive mode is such a great innovation for 4.4 devices. I just wish there was a way to replicate that functionality on the AM2.

Settings:
This module is fully configurable, the settings app is hidden from the launcher, access it by going into Xposed, tapping modules, then tapping the module itself.
Compatibility:
This should work with most ROMs on most devices (HTC, Sony, Nexus devices, AOSP, CM, PA, Omni etc). LG devices are currently unsupported on stock ROMs. Patches welcome since I can't get my hands on an LG device.

As promised on reddit, this module is now open source and licensed under the GPLv3 license https://github.com/MohammadAG/Xposed-Battery-Home-Icon

Asking me for G3 support won't get you anywhere, I tried adding support and didn't get anywhere. Ask an Xposed dev with a G3 to try and help.

thanks for the great mod brother! it works fine on my z1c with z3 systemui with xperia xposed module. I had to change the padding size to fit the number.
Can you share the background in the first post? Thanks.

Dark settings menus

I've looked quite long for this mod, finally!! Maybe im just slow
A theme with simple dark background in settings menu
And it is possible, and it's looking okay. except for the status/nav bar color
(but that can be sorted with translucent effect with another app, but i didn't bother)
I just wanted to share.
1. rooted device with supersu
2. xposed framework installed (http://dl-xda.xposed.info/modules/de.robv.android.xposed.installer_v33_36570c.apk)
3. download Holo Themer module from inside framework
4. select 'settings' from the list and choose dark and save
it's possible with other apps too

Wow, I always had black themes on my phones and this is one is good as well. Well, have to wait for a new root method.
I do believe root isn't necessary for something like this, I for example use the Material Orange L, and it works for everything on my phone.
There are a few themes on the Play Store e.g. Theme eXperiance™ - Space. I am a bit new to android but I did program in java a few years ago.
I will eventually get to tempering around with the themes and making a black orange one as it is my dream theme
(unless someone makes one before me).
Please do this. I tried it and did not succeed. I never figured out how to change the font color in settings. The background is quite easy but the font color is a different story. I have to change it to white so that it is readable on a black background.
Send me the apk/source pls

I use the following theme: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.maksmayer.themes.abstractlime&hl=en
I only changes the semc_bg_light_tile.png into the dark version. The Problem now is that I need to change the font color to white or something bright so that you can read the text on the dark background.
Please keep in mind that the theme has to work without root, so I can't use XPOSED.
I attached the modified version of the theme to use the dark background.
It would be great if you could tell me what file I have to edit to change the font color.
Thanks.

Edit your navbar at will [Ultimate navbar mod]

I've been working for a while on how to get any softkeys I wanted on my G4. It is posible to do so with xposed modules like xstana or nexus navbar but these have built-in navbars and if you don't like them you're stuck. I loved softkeyZ because you could use any png file not only pre-made icons. I usually used Photoshop touch on my Z3 to mod my navbar icons and apply them with softkeyZ. Unfortunately this app doesn't work eith the G4. But let's fix that. This method makes you get basically any png file as your navbar softkeys meaning you can grab any themes' softkeys and just apply.

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Prerequisite
-Root and Xposed framework
-Xstana prime
-Softkeys of your choice
Tutorial
# If you have xtstana prime it is easy use the personalized feature and choose your png from your gallery and not android's default document picker.See attachment 1-3. Choose scale type to be cetre crop or fill from the settings icon after this.And you're done
1.If you don't have softkeys download softkeyZ and open it then check the folder the app created on your internal storage for png files. You can also find any softkey online or ask a theme developer or diy.
2.Resize them following attachment 4-5 .Normally the deault size should be 144x144. You need to increase it to 192x192 or more not less.
3.Your icons may not look crisp again if your only increase the size of the image. Use the Bevel feature like in attachment 9 .
4.Save and then extract the icons to your gallery the follow # above to apply them.
Hope I helped please! Hit thanks if you appreciate:good::highfive:
Is this something different than using the Xstana module on Xposed? That works fine, but Softkeyz does not work.
project finished now you can hop into the thread.

How to change the style of the notification panel?

Hey guys,
I'm currently using the CM 13 ROM, which is based on Android MM as you probably know.
The Notication Panel looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I really would like to change the Notification Panel so it looks like this:
Just as a side info: I achieved the look of the panel shown in the second picture with the app "material status bar notific", but i really dislike this app and it doesn't work to well.
So is there any way to make my Notification Panel as shown in the first screenshot to look like the Notification Panel in the second screenshot?
I would appreciate your help, thanks alot.

Installing Android 7 (CM14) would give you a similar look (except for the color).
Or you can get the same thing I said above, on android 6, with Xposed and the N-ify module (except for the color).
On android 6 you might be able to use a theme to get the desired colors, though I don't know if themes play well with N-ify.

That isn't possible. Only Samsung ROMs have that as far as I know.
Maybe Google will implement something similar in a future android version. But for now, you have to settle for this.
