Can you please upload twrp backup of Lollipop rom please. I am in great need of it as my phone is in bootloop.

This TWRP works great in my 820n. However two small fixes need to made.
- Sometimes device has a boot loop to TWRP
- Shell has sporadic problem.

This problem with all HTC devices after unlocking the bootloader. nothing new about it. and not a big deal also.
@kinghunki Hey, what command does your recovery exe installer runs to flash the recovery? Is it different from fastboot flash recovery recovery.img ?
Because I compiled the recovery myself and it flashes fine but I'm unable to boot into it, it shows some red warning text and then returns to hboot. Any help?

Hi. Do you have workarounds upon removing this recovery? I can't update my phone to the latest version of stock firmware because of this recovery. Everytime I press install now from OTA, it reboots and boots into TWRP, which hinders my phone from updating to the latest version of the firmware.
Nice job. Hope you can support D820f ...
You write "all models". This would implicate that the Desire 820s (dual Sim with Mediatek 6752) is also supported, which I doubt.
Can you clarify please?
does this method able to apply on desire 820S? thanks in advance..
Stock firmware
Not sure if its the right thread to ask. Does someone have the link to stock firmware for the HTC desire 820?
support 820s with mediaTek chip?!
Thanx for the TWRP.
Touch is non-responsive on 820n/single sim model.
Is the HTC 820Q supported?
Sadly, I cannot access your download link, could you add another mirror?
HTC Desire 820n single sim.
EDIT:
Managed with a proxy.

My touches sometimes work, sometimes not.
I tried doing backups a few times
Usually i can boot to recovery, fast click backup, confirm, it starts, screen goes off and then sometimes when it's done i can swipe, restart, other times i need to restart with hardware buttons since touches do not register
Any ideas?
I have a single SIM HTC 820 - not sure which one 820n/d/u no idea what those letters are for my model

You will find the X letter (d820X) written on your phone's box/package.
On booting recovery mode, click power button to turn the screen off, click again to turn it on, wait until the screen goes off by itself then turn it on again, touch screen should work after that. [emoji28]

Thank you it's d820n
As for the screen, when i get to recovery, if i press the power button the screen doesn't turn off ,instead the lockscreen appears, but i did try leaving it so it turns itself off once, twice and after i unlock still does not work.
I dunno, is the version we're using is not the right one for our phone? is it bugged? since the phone isn't even listed as "supported" if i'm not mistaken.
anyway, at least i can use it from the start so i can backup/restore which is fine i guess.
Tnx for your help

Most people do not need it, causing slow.

If you have a F460K I do it by holding volume down with power, then when you see the lg logo IMMEDIATELY let go of both and press and hold volume up with volume down. It takes some good (fast) timing but works.
I hear the F460S is volume up with power instead but can not confirm personally.

Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) is an open-source software custom recovery image for Android-based devices. It provides a touchscreen-enabled interface that allows users to install third-party firmware and back up the current system, functions often unsupported by stock recovery images. It is, therefore, often installed when rooting Android devices, although it isn't dependent on a device being rooted to be installed.
Flash command
Code:
fastboot flash recovery "filename.img"

- ZIP flashing

works great
but this shows up when I go to recovery or try mount /data:
Failed to mount '/data' (Invalid argument)
Unable to recreate /data/media folder.
maybe because I have an encrypted /data
Не работает
У меня такая же проблема

Yeah, stock decryption not supported
Format data and flash lazyflasher disabler or something that disable forced encryption

Thanks, it works perfectly.
But I still have a systemless root, what can I do to achieve system root?
You think wiping data partition would solve the problem?
Hi SebaUbuntu,
I just tried installing your unofficial TWRP on my Zenfone 4 Max Pro (ZC554KL), and it gets stuck on the "powered by Android" screen. I have Android AOSP Pie beta installed (downloaded from the ASUS website).
I tried the official version 3.2.2 which worked before I updated to Android Pie, and it goes into a reset loop. Your version 3.4.0 (from the X00I folder) stops at the "powered by Android" screen.
Any idea on how to get it to work? Or do I need to wait for a new version of TWRP for my phone?
NOTE: I'm using fastboot to boot the TWRP image. I can't get it to boot via any other method.
No response... Can anybody help me?

Well then u try boot into fastboot and then use command line to boot into TWRP.
Then wipe system, cache, data and flash the rom.
I think it should works.
BTW, also vol+&power bottom doesn't work?
And Im also wonder that if I want to root z4max, when should I flash Magisk? Right after I flashed the ROM or after first boot? (It seems excrypted and I'm unable to decrypt, it just shows "Decryption takes too long, killing process")
At that time I use another TWRP, I want to flash this one instead but the download link didn't works.
What a pity....
