Hello, there is a small rubber part that fallen from my ZU's USB port. I believe it is a waterproofing part.
Has it happened to anyone else? How can I put it back? I've tried to insert in back but its doesn't stays in place no matter how I put it, was it originally glued?

Yup, same happened to me. I ordered a new one from here, but it looks like they're out of stock for the USB cover, so you'll have to buy one from Ebay. I paid £7-8 for mine.

Just pop it right in. There's a fishhook kinda shape on the end of the "plastic thread" that's holding the flap, so just rip it off and insert a new one. It can be a little hard to push the new one in, but it's very easy and straight forward. You can try it yourself right now by pulling the USB flap off and inserting it again.
EDIT: Wait a minute. Fonjoy still have flaps left. 9 of them actually, and you can order it from their eBay page:

I purchased my USB flap from them and it's legit stuff. It took about 7 days until it arrived, so overall a good experience, but seeing you're located in France, it'll probably be a little quicker. They're based in the UK.
I've glued mine back, but won't guarantee how efficient it is in terms of waterproof. Also it was rather tricky due to small size and being careful of not over doing the glue. I would suggest you to just buy a new flap.

Yeah, I wouldn't risk it for only £10 or so, and I wouldn't trust the glue to seal it properly.

It happened to me several times... I bought a few but I then contacted my local Sonymobile support and they will mail one out for FREE. have a go

Several times? What the... lol. Do you bathe with your phone or something, because the only reason why this would happen is that the glue on the rubber gasket wears off by moist/water.
Anyhow, it's still only £10, so I'm not sure I would even bother contacting Sony, but that's up to the OP to decide. Our work is done here

I have the smoked tpu case on my photon and its nice. has some grip so she doesnt slide around on the dash on my truck yet still is easy to pull in and out of my pocket. and for less then $10 off amazon, cant go wrong.

dang amazon and ebay... they get me every time too!
as far as working with a dock, I am unsure. I do not own one. But the back side i would not be worried about, the side where the ports are is around 1.5mm thick. so the connectors may not connect all the way in.
I've been using the TPU smoke case. I like it, it doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone, and adds just enough grip but not too much to be annoying.
I did run into a problem with USB cables. I brought 3 micro-USB cables of different lengths for charging the phone. I got them from monoprice. One of the micro-USB cables has issues because it can't stick into the connector far enough - the case blocks it slightly, so the cable sometimes can't get plugged in all the way. If I push on it, it seems to work, and might continue to work if no one nudges it.
The weird thing is, another cable (a longer one from Monoprice), doesn't have that issue. The plastic portion of both cable seems to be the same size (foot print), but I think the metal plug is slightly longer on this cable that works.
So, the clearances are really tight. Some cables work with the TCU case, some do not.
The Motorola cable that comes stock with the Photo will work. The plastic around the cable has a smaller footprint, so it just clears the TCU case.

Why the panic? Are you standing in a small boat?
What can you do? Either try to find a new port cover online, or send it in for repairs.

how exactly did that happen? By leaving the flaps open?? I'm struggling to see how you could do that.
Well I'm pretty sure Sony will tell you its a consumer part and will charge you for a replacement. There are some for sale, so you could just buy one.

yep, its a very tight fit. You either have to use a credit card or have long nails to be able to remove my device from my case

With my case (have started to merge a case for the QX attachement). I have to use fingernails to pull open the brackets that hold it in place. Didn't think about the covers coming off, just wanted to be careful.
the cap that covers the usb charging of the phone is lose so i bought a new one but how shall i replace it do i have to take the phone apart

i dunno, the manual says to simply pull the string out with your fingers

maybe its strange but i am happy that those flap covers can be replaced easily without taking the phone apart
There is a small barb on the end of the "string" that goes into the phone (a bit like a fish hook) which stops it from falling out in normal use.

I remember reading a warning of sorts somewhere (Maybe here on XDA) about the waterproofing integrity on these doors being compromised rather quickly from the normal daily opening and closing for charging, dust, etc. The article/post went on to describe how much better it would be to charge with the magnetic port...Faster charging, less wear and tear on the micro usb port and seals on the door etc. I was sold on that bit of info and even before I got my ZU I bought a few of those mag charging cables on ebay. Now I only need to open my micro USB door cover for OTG or MHL access, which honestly, I haven't needed to yet. All things considered I have a little more peace of mind that if I have any "Water" related accidents with my phone I'm not out $650.00 for one stupid little rubber seal.

It looks like it bent right in the middle of the phone where the power button is. I did not remove the ASF and im not sure which cracked: the glass, the touchscreen or the ASF.. or all of them. Phone still works although i cant use the display, it feels like the touchscreen is fine but the glass or ASF is pressing against it. Its the first time I face this kind of issue with a device, what should I do? Will Sony's warranty cover it? If not how much can this replacement cost? Should I relock the BL before taking it to the SAT?
Cover used while in pocket:
Relock the bootloader and try getting it fixed through warranty. I don't think it'll cost you anything and my buddy had that happen and they sent him a brand one.

I've just been notified that Sony's warranty wont include my broken glass and they are asking for 230€ to get it fixed. A phone I bought 3 months ago for 350€. This is terribly frustrating, I didnt want a 600€ phone.
Can anyone advice me what is my best option? Fix it or get another model? Is it possible to sell the broken one for spare parts or similar? The phone is working, I can use it with a OTG mouse. Its the glass that is messing the display.

save your money and find some device that suite your needs and buy it... I would never pay that money to get the phone repaired.
Sell it for spare parts might..perhaps work. Try ebay or something ...or hook it up to your tv with mhl and otg and turn it in to a android computer or something I dunno. Perhaps with a bluetooth keyboard, remote control or mouse

It's disappointing - although not unusual, I guess - that Sony seems so inconsistent in how it's handling warranty cases. It seems obvious that this is a design fault with the phone (some or all) when so many people claim it happens all too easily. pemell had the exact same thing happen, the retailer wanted cash to fix it, and Sony took the cost after being notified of that. Could you try your retailer, or try again with Sony?

Hello to all. Due the pass of the time the protector/sticker for home button which came with my Sentete tempered glass (it came with two protectors/stickers in fact) has been unsticked. It is like this one:

I know it's not the answer you are looking for but I'd try a different type of sticker or re-buy the whole package you originally bought. Or, buy double sided tape and add a small amount on the home button.

I miss the sticker that came with my slim armor case for the S4. I loved those things. Made the home button feel so much better, and more responsive. Plan on buying a set this week.
