I have a Nexus 7 and I want to stream some of the videos I have purchased through the Play Store to my TV using dlna. The problem I have is that when I "pin" my content so it stays on my device the movies do not show up in the video folder so dlna apps can play them. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Is there some workaround to allow streaming of Amazon Prime HD videos from Amazon.com?
I can stream Amazon Prime movies in SD with no problems at all, but when I try to stream any HD content, I get a window popup with the message:
'You can not playback this HD movie via the Amazon.com website. HD movie playback is limited to Kindle Fire HD, Xbox 360, PS3, Roku, TIVO or other Amazon Instant Video HD Compatible devices. Would you like to watch the Standard Definition version instead?'
Anyone had any luck getting this to work?
Seems pretty obvious that Amazon reserves HD streaming only for users of their authorized devices. What's not to understand?
I use Firefox beta and run amazon on desktop and it gives me hd streams
Sign up to Dropbox using my signature and we both get an extra 500megs free http://db.tt/YZjXmjTT

If you had read my post, you would realize I was trying to find out if there was a way to get it working on the Nexus 7
I'll give Firefox a try as another helpful poster has suggested.
It works
Hi - whenever I purchase movies from Google play store the movies don't playback in high definition or download in hd. I have tried to speak to Sony and they've said it's Google's issue and Google are saying the exact opposite. In the meantime I'm left with SD format even though I paid for HD content. The movies play in HD on all my other Android devices. Anyone had the same problem.
Amazon instant video released android app to finally stream amazon instant video content but Xperia is not compatible to stream in HD only SD.. Is their anyway to bypass that?
Just read that no android devices can stream HD video from amazon instant video If that's true any bypass?
I've been using my tab from past 2 years and had no trouble playing full hd and hdr content on prime video app, recently it doesn't stream in HD anymore. The full hd pop up has disappeared. Tried updating the app, still nothing works. The same account signed in my phone works fine with hd and hdr but tab doesn't stream in more than sd resolution.
Checked the streaming setting and it's set to high, no problem with bandwidth either. Can someone check and confirm if they face the same issue ? Has amazon blacklisted tab s3 for hd content ?
