Hello, can someone help me to find a rear camera module replacement for this device?

I can't wait for that color combo too!
I sometimes wonder why ALL the phone companies don't make every color available in any combo. The Black & Gold is a Win-Win color combo!

I have a cracked digitizer,I bought another one lol so I have a unlocked v10, should toss it on eBay haha

Battery Door cover

Custom Battery Doors?
So we can all agree that the Developer Version of the G1 has a pretty sweet custom battery cover. Anybody know of anywhere making similar products?I expected to find a whole slew of decorated covers in all sorts of colors by now, but I searched Ebay and some online shops and no dice.
Re: Custom Battery Doors/Plastics on Dummy G1s
Have you considered picking up a dummy G1 (like they use in retail displays) cheaply on eBay? They may use the same casing parts - if anyone knows, please tell me?
I'm thinking about getting one of the dummies and respraying the plastics purple, then swapping the plastics with the ones on my G1 (using the instructions in the service manual that showed up on the interwebs).

I painted mine a while back. Sanded it down first, to get rid of the rubberized texture (for the paint to stick better).

That battery cover is not white lol. It more like gold/silver/copperish?
I asked the seller and he told me that indeed it was white, but you never know its ebay
I think that may be the UK one.
Apparently when the G1 Pictures first came out the UK white G1 Variety had a white back cover.
I have the white G1 in the U.S. and It has a Silver/Greyish battery cover.
I have had the problem that the "Softtouch" has started to fade and there is a visible copperish color coming through. The inside of the cover is in fact white, so I guess you could clean a grey one off and use it as white.
T-mobile paid (Through account credit) the cost of 15 dollars plus S&H to replace mine from HTC. I ordered the Black one so I would not have this problem again. Now my Phone is white in front, with a grey stripe around it and a black back. Looks Storm Trooperish.
all white (except keyboard)

Is it even possible to replace all of that? If I can find one without the logo in all white I would definately want one, but wouldn't it be too difficult to replace all of it?

yup, so possible in fact, that HTC wrote a manual on how to do it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=468673
ok, not a whole manual, but it's in there somewhere.
also it looks pretty fkin hard to do, i don't trust myself tbh =/
doesn't
it doesn't really look that difficult. just follow the directions. time consuming yes. i wouldn't do it unless i found one without the t-mobile logo, that would be a waste of time. if i could find one with no logo i'd be so happy. i hate advertising for free
i have a white UK G1 and the back is the same glossy white as the rest of the phone...
the white paint is holding up brilliantly as well and as i said is the same glossyness as the front... so white front, silver trim with a white back.

I am having this same problem. I know a guy who has done the same as you but he didn't have to pay for the cover. He went in to T_Mobile and told them the problem and said he wanted a black back piece and they just gave him one. As for myself, I may just do the same.
I like the black back
I just paid up front for it, T-mob credited my account for it.
I like the black back, looks kind of Storm-Trooperish.
While a Glossy white one is most appealing to me, (I consider myself lucky to even have a white G1). I think it will be a while before white battery covers become available OEM, until then the grey back looks like its really dirty around the edges, so the white one gives the phone a more polished look.
External cover need
where can i buy a external cover? not comes with battery.. i ony need external cover (door) because mine broken. need a new one

I originally wanted black but p4u only had white and I'm chuffed with it. I have read somewhere that the black ones show up marks but cant find where I've read it now.

The white one for sure. The black one apparently gets scuff marks.
Well the white definitely looks better, i had a white one and loved it. Was stuck in the shop at least 10 mins just by choosing color
as regards to durability I heard of the back cover got a special coating that prevents stains. And some guys on YouTube posted a white version with markers been drawn all over and removed with just a eraser.

White one here from P4U was not sure until I used it in the shop. Get a microfibre as well so you can wipe it. even with screen protector on it by default you will want to clean it lol.

i was planning to get black but there is no color choice for me so i got the white one.
I am really confused on which one to get. The white one looks better but a few have commented that it gets scratches and gets dirty easier than the black one. The black one does not look as good as the white one but it hides scratches and dirt easily.

Lol so you see different people different taste
I love the matte black one
I think the bar lights up better against the black body - visually speaking of course since it should have the same brightness on both models.
Just picked up a white one. Went into P4U expecting to prefer the black but actually preferred the white.
All personal preference of course, the black ones still look great to me

I took the white one. But that was because i couldn't get a black one on release date. In fact i allready had pre-ordered a black one. But cancelled it.
But the truth if is i'm realy happy with the white one. It's deffrent. Black is so mainstream almost all smartphones are black. With the white one you might get some looks. On distance you can't realy see what kind of phone people got because they are all black.

So far no problems keeping it clean. If you keep it in a dirty environment, get a case!

Silver to Black to Silver

Guys, the Black scratches pretty easy. I swapped my silver last week and I had a case on it but had the case off and set the phone down on my desk and then noticed a few marks on the back that wont come out.
So I'm going back to the silver one. The black looks nice, but I like to go caseless sometimes

I agree about the scratches but the black still looks better and a clear case solves the problem!
Get a minimalist case or clear body skin, and the black is golden.
I almost bought the black and thought it'd scratch and fade so I bought the silver. Glad I did.

+1 what he said.
I've been running caseless on mine for almost 2 weeks, no scratches.
I set my phone down on granite, desk, coffee table, wood table and nothing...yet
I'm sure I'll get the occasional scuff but that is the life of a mobile device.
Yea I wouldn't trade my silver for the black one because the black just looks to like every other phone at first glance. The silver just stands out so much more and is better with finger prints. Every time I pull out the silver one somebody ask about it because it's so beautiful
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2
The black shows fingerprint and oil really easily, which I dislike.
I was in a dilemma with choosing the black or silver. Walked out the door with the silver today from best buy....LOVING IT...no regrets.

They had a demo device at the Costco in Winchester, VA. As I was looking at it, a couple people walked by and asked the vendor if that was the iPhone 5. Needless to say, I immediately made my mind up to get the silver. LOL

Walked into the AT&T store yesterday with every intention of getting black and left the store with silver. The black display model had scratches on the back and I didn't think it looked as good in person as it did on some of the pictures I have seen online. Silver is just downright sexy.

Swapping white chassis for pink

Anyone know somewhere you can purchase JUST the pink chassis/s pen to swap onto a white note?
buy a pink digitizer/glass for $13 on ebay and a find a pink battery cover
If you don't wanna open your phone to swap the glass, then you can buy a pink screen protector and pink battery door. That would definitely be the easiest and cheapest way to go from white to pink.

I have, hence why I'm very cautious when looking at the product descriptions. If it's not labeled correctly and doesn't state that it's oem I would be wary that it may just be a copycat. There are plenty of note 3 copies out there. If you've been successful getting an oem product than I'm glad for you, but I wouldn't recommend a item unless I knew for certain it was oem/meets requirements.

I agree on this, there are many seller who source the screen direct from china, looking at it is a 1:1 direct copy, but once connected, you see the quality of the actual screen, with that being said, there are some oem ones available, best to get a pink screen protector, cheap and better option, at least it doesn't void the warranty.

Actually I like the look of this better than anything else I've seen. (Really talking about the other options, not the pink one in particular) I wonder how well the sides adhere though. I'd imagine with the ridges they won't last long.
I've seen a video on changing a screen and digitizer on a s4. It's a nightmare job.

I would also imagine that the sides won't stay on very long. I had a Ghost Armor full body for my Note 2, which came with the sides as well. The Note 2 has smooth sides, so I'd imagine they would stay put on it much better. I wasn't crazy about how the sides looked though, so I never used them. I did install them a couple days after I put on my screen protector an battery door skin, just to see how it would look. I was right when I originally thought I wouldn't like them. I left them in for a couple hours an then took them off. I think having chrome/silver edges on a phone looks good. So even if the sides didn't stick or stay put on the Note 3, I think it would be for the best anyway! Lol

HAM2 Battery/Back Cover

Hello All,
Just thought I would pass this along in case there was anyone like me who regretted buying the white HAM2 due to it's slipperyness. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I almost dropped it due to it's slick surface and all the aftermarket covers I bought (5) made it just too big, so I bought an OEM back/battery case cover from the location below pretty cheaply.
http://www.parts4repair.com/back-cover-for-huawei-ascend-mate-2-mt2-black/
When I bought mine (black one) I saw in amazon reviews that the white and the black one were different in that the back covers were smooth vs textured, which tipped my decision for the black version. Also didn't want it to be confused for a sammy product also . Thanks for the link in case my cover ever gets damaged I know where to get it. :good:
