Zte nubia z9 Classic 32gb mic Sounds Bad with whatsapp - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey ppl,
i recently bought my new ZTE Z9 Classic but somehow it seems that my microphone sounds bad when I take a voice note in whatsapp. As soon as I call someone or take a call, everything just sounds fine. Maybe its using the wrong microphone or both (noise cancellation and normal one) all I can say is that when I call someone it sounds normal, too when I record my voice via sound recorder. Somehow whatsapp is the only app which doesn't properly detect my microphone...
Newest firmware installed, device rooted and newest version of Whatsapp avialable.
Is someone out there who can help me?
Regards
Chrissli

Phone is not picking any input voice - Please help

Hi All,
(Asus_T00J Zenfone A501CG running Android KitKat 4.4.2 - Firmware: Asus_T00J_WW_user_2.22.40.54_20150527_44 )
Today morning I have received few calls.
All of a sudden my phone, stopped hearing anything. My callers cannot here my voice but I can here them.
I tried in several calls both with built-in headset and using speaker mode.
I tried inputting voice to "Google Voice Search" using both normal phone microphone and a headset's mic. But "Google Voice" cannot here anything. (Previous to this problem it has no problem hearing).
As audio input is not working even with a headset, I assume its not a problem with phone's mic (Hardware) but some software issue.
Please someone help me troubleshoot this issue.. I am not able to receive any calls.
Thanks a lot..
Restart your phone.. if Still not working
its possible that your drivers are corrupted, if you have a backup of your Stock Rom, try recovering it..

PPTV KING microphone problem -

Hi everyone,
I have flashed my phone to stock Android 5.1 as this is the only stable version and all is working well apart from the microphone. When I receive a call the ringtone occurs and i can hear the other person but they can't hear me. I also tested the mic on google but nothing happened.
However, I downloaded TestYourAndroid from Play store and the mic works so I know it's got to be a firmware issue.
If you can help me I would be most grateful.
Bump. Please any advice woould be most appreciated.

Problem with microphone only Video Call (not with Audio-Call)

Hallo everybody,
I have Bluboo Maya Max with the latest original firmware (DK9F23WAE.LTXI.H.SCS8.0419.V3.07) and did not try to root the device or change anything related to audio setup.
When I try to use Maya Max for VOIP calls (only audio-calls) with Whatsapp or Skype - it works good, the other side (the person I am calling) can hear me as well as when I call directly, i.e. VOIP audio call is very good and I can hear the other side very well.
However, when I try to do a Video-Call through Whatsapp or Skype (or any other Videocall app) - the video (picture) is good (in both direction), I can hear and see the other side very well, they can also see me very well, BUT: the other side can not hear me or hears me very badly !!!! As if my microphone volume is
I could not find any setup option to increase the microphone volume.
It is the same no matter what Internet speed I have and no matter if it is LTE or WiFi-DSL-connection. As if the phone uses another microphone or different audio-setup setting/volume when I try to do the Video call . This is specific to my phone (Bluboo) since when I use another phone (Laegoo or Samsung S6) at the same place/time and with the same Internet connection method - the other side can hear me and see me very well (so it is not problem of the I-net connection speed).
Does anybody have an idea why is this happening and how could I solve the problem?
Thanks for your help/suggestions.
Pavana
Did you ever find a fix for this?
I installed [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][m8qlul] LineageOS 15.1 for HTC One M8s a few days ago and have encountered an issue where audio seems to work fine on normal calls, WhatsApp calls, and in video, but in WhatsApp (and Messenger) video calls although I can hear and see the other person they can see me but cannot hear me.
All permissions for WhatsApp are enabled. I cleared data, uninstalled, rebooted, and then reinstalled but observed the same issue.
Is there anything else worth trying?

Microphone problem

I think there's problem with Microphone on POCO F1 . It works fine on Calling and PUBG, but works very poor, compared to other phone, in Voice Recorder app , and Video recording, and even voicemail on facebook messenger. In order to get better Sound , I need to place the microphone very near my mouth, or source of sound. I am not sure whether the microphone on all POCO F1 is like this , or it is just in mine. And is it a hardware or software problem? If it is a hardware problem , why does it work fine on PUBG?
I have recognized it first on the internal voice recorder app - i barely could understand what I have recored. Then I've tried my usual recorder app (EasyVoiceRec.) and didn't have any issues, so I forgot about that.
But today I made some calls, using the hands free mode and the other side told me they almost can't understand anything I say. It got only better when I turned OFF the hands-free-mode.
So yes, damn, the mic has a serious problem. It doesn't matter whether it's cell call, whatsapp, skype.
Btw. what does "PUBG" means?

Problem on a Mate 20 Pro with music not starting back up after a voice call/voice mes

Hi all, I have a small issue with my Mate 20 Pro and I am hoping someone here would know if there's a fix for it.
The problem is thus. If I'm using earphones and listening to music (eg. radio), if someone gives me a call or I receive a voice recording over FB messenger, after I talk to the person or listen to the message, the music won't automatically start back up. I didn't have any issues like these on my previous phone (i had an old HTC). I even had this problem with my Bluetooth speakers, but for some reason, it kind of fixed itself and now the speakers start playing the music back after a call without a problem. It's just the earphones/handsfree that I'm having issues with.
Anyone else has similar issues?
Thank you in advance.
