[Q] Arcatarc's SuperleggeraV6 troubles on install

Well, i already warning my english is not good.
My trouble is when i'm install the "Arcatarc's SuperleggeraV6", i do "full wipe": factory reset, wipe data, wipe system...
So flash the " Arcatarc's SuperleggeraV6" base rom, after i install the patch for my neo v, i reboot, and the phone keeps rebooting, appears the kernel logo, so appears "xperia" what is the rom starter, and the phone reboot again, and start all of this.
Someone can help me?
notes:
the kernel works in another ICS rom, i followed every step of the thread, and i'm not a noob (i flash roms by the last 2 years)
Arcatarc's SuperleggeraV6 thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2290310
Sorry again for my horrible english.
(i learned by myself)
You need to flash: 1 baserom->2 odexed or deodexed pack->3 device patch..
Inviato da me!
Thanks, i will try.
thanks man, i had installed your rom right and i tested the rom, sorry, but, the rom don't work perfect on my phone, it keeps "lagging", i will come back to another rom, sorry.

[Q][U] Touch screen not responding

Hey there.
it seems i have a big problem.
i just bought a new XU and first everything was fine...
i unlocked the bootoader and tried some roms... until i found one that was not working.
the instructions said i have to slash 4.0.4 stock... so i did...
since then rearly every rom (even the stock roms) arent responding to any touch.
there is a rom which i can flash that is responding... but for now its only one rom!
in recovery everything is fine its just the rom itself that seems to make problems...
what can i do?
even if i flash to stock the touch display is not working....
I have the same problem!

may be it is due to the hardware problem, u can test touch screen by typing *#*#7378423#*#* in your dialler!!!
or try flashing stock gingerbread via flashtool, it may help.
press thanks if i helped
The screen is working...
but only with this Rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1974430 and in recovery.
None of the FTF-stock roms is working for me.
I think it may be a driver error...
but etc/hw_config.sh is identic so no error here...
toch screen test is also passed...
There is no problem with the mentioned rom i.e. that network isnt working...
Hope someone can help
I too have the same problem sometimes..... I think it is the problem with the kernel
Sent from my ST25i using xda premium
Same kernel, same base rom... one is working the other one dont...
compaired roms: st25i_6.1.1.b.1.100 generic - user_sony - Ultimate Z1
EDIT: i had some success... it seems that the problem is somewhere in the update-script... i copied the whole META-INF folder from the generic over the ultimate Z1 folder... and the touch worked! almost everything else didn't but this is a small success i think....

LG G2 No Sound After Flashing Custom ROM (FIX)

Haven't signed in to XDA since 2012 LOL. But anyway I have been seeing a few post from some users with a little problem after flashing a custom ROM. Mostly with an AOSP ROM (CM11, AOKP) Etc. This problem only seems to occur after taking the sprint KitKat OTA and then flashing TWRP with Auto Rec, Followed by flashing a custom rom. I've had this same problem when flashing CM11 to unlock my sprint variant for T-Mobile. The sound was completely gone.!!! Zip Ziltch!! No where to be found. Couldn't place calls because the call screen would go black and then come back with a call ended error. I've been searching for a solution for this for the longest and it seems like on every forum when everyone has this issue and needs help there is no response from any member. So I'm here to help in any way that I can. I found this solution after unlocking 3 G2's yesterday.
*I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU SOMEHOW BRICK OR FRY YOUR DEVICE. BY FOLLOWING THIS GUIDE YOU AGREE THAT EVERYTHING STEP YOU TAKE IS ON YOU. YOU.!! THIS HAS BEEN TESTED ON 3 G2'S AND WAS CONFIRMED WORKING. I SUGGEST THAT NOOBS WAIT FOR A CONFIRMATION FROM A DEV BEFORE PROCEEDING. THANK YOU.
I AM GOING TO ASSUME YOU ARE BACK TO YOUR STOCK ROM BEFORE DOING THIS, IF NOT JUST GO INTO RECOVERY, DO A FULL WIPE AND FLASH THE ZIP.
Before you begin download the KitKat modem from this link h t t p : / / forums (dot) xda - developers (dot) com / showthread (dot) php?t=2705509 ( can't post links) and place the zip on the root of you internal storage.
STEP 1 - FLASH THE CUSTOM ROM OF YOUR CHOICE.
STEP 2 - AFTER FLAHSING DO NOT FLASH GAPPS JUST YET. BOOT INTO THE ROM AND COMFIRM THAT THE SOUND IS INDEED DEAD.
STEP 3 - TURN OFF THE DEVICE AND BOOT INTO RECOVERY.
STEP 4 - DO A FULL WIPE AND FLASH THE KITKAT MODEM YOU DOWNLOADED. I DIDNT FLASH GAPPS YET TIL AFTER I BOOTED UP AND CONFIRMED WORKING SOUND, BUT YOU CAN FLASH THEM IF YOU WANT *BE CAUTIOUS, IM NOT SURE IF IT WILL DAMAGE ANYTHING*
But after you boot back up do some sound checks. Place a call and you should now have working sound. Congrats!! You did it! I have done this method on 3 sprint G2's so far. Have not tried other variants but they all should work the same.

Hello, I have this problem on a Samsung Galaxy Epress GT 18730. Which modems would I have to use?
Are you running a custom ROM.? I can't really speak for the express. First you have to make sure the sound drivers are there. If they are then try and locate the latest modem. It might be hard to find since the express doesn't really get a lot of attention.

Non of the above link cause they're meant for the g2 so not the express. Try to find modems in the galaxy express thread if there are any but just dont flash this modem, dont even try it. It would definetly not work.

Yes i'm running cm11. But no one on the cm11 thread knows how to fix this rare problem. I brought my android back to the original firmware 100% and this problem is still there
. I think only a modem can help me, but I don't know where to get one.. One that will bring my sound back.

Did you flashed the whole system.tar or whut idk how it goes by samsung anymore :9. Can you like extract from the tar.md5 and flash the modem.bin in the Phone section if I am right. You can just extract the things from the tar.md5 by renaming tar.md5 to tar.
But i believed that if you flash the whole Tar.md5 thing from Samsung that it flashes all files inside
Just try to extract the modem.bin from the tar.md5 and flash it in phone

Lol yeah, a Netherlands one. Thanks for taking the time out to check on my replies to this thread sir!
I got this problem on my LS980 today.
Let me just quote my post from the rom thread:
"I got no sound after flashing this rom on my LS980. Came from Cloudy's rom, full wipe, flashed rom, gapps and the bloat removal script from the gapps thread. No sound, anywhere-not in youtube, not in music player, not in settings, can't be a hardware issue since I had no problems on previous rom and it doesn't work with headphones, too."
I wanted to flash the modem, but the link is dead ;( any ideas what to do? I'm still on custom rom.
EDIT: back-up from ZVE stock kit-kat solved the problem. Now, what should I do to flash custom rom and have working sound..?

[Q] Mobile Network not available after Flashing to custom ROM

Hi guys,
This is my first time posting a thread in here. I need your help.
My phone is Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100.
Baseband version: I9100XXKI3
(screenshots attached for more info)
I rooted my phone By using Odin3-v1.85. and flashed the recovery to cwm 5.x (i can't remember version) and tried to install custom ROM OMNI
(omni-5.0.2).
I accidently downloaded and installed OMNI for i9100G version. But my phone is i1900 version.
(I downloaded this omni-5.0.2-20141222-i9100g-HOMEMADE.zip ). i forgot to backup previous ROM .
Then i was unable to Turn ON my phone because every time i turn it on, it come back to recovery it self (it's a bootloop i think).:crying::crying:
then i flashed the recovery to CWM-KitKatCompatible-i9100 (version 6.0.2.7) and installed custom ROMs and tried (PACMAN,CM,AICP).
It works fine. everything is just perfect. But i can't make calls or receive.
It says "Mobile Network not available". when i call my phone from another phone i hear ringing it. But nothing shows in my phone. after few seconds i got a Missed call Alert. But this happens only sometimes. All the other times. i cannot call it from another phone.
I tried reset and flash modem using CWM as well as from odin. but no luck.
Please Friends Help me. I don't know whether i put this thread to right section or not. sorry about that.
I did all of these things by surfing XDA forum (as a Guest). And i'm happy about what you guys are doing. Keep it up.:good::good:
(sorry for bad english)
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.
Stand by
Good luck

May be the problem with kernal.
Any suggestions???

You will have to flash stock 4.1.2 rom or try a 4.1.2 custom rom. The problem may be caused by the drivers in the built in kernels but I'm not completely sure.
No mobile network on custom roms
I have already flashed the 4.1.2 jellybean rom but 4.1.2 rom also havr bugs. Lock screen doesn't work, I had tried hard resetting but it doesn't solve the problem. I Want use 5.0.2 hazy , cynogenmod, pacman , dirty unicorn, etc and other many custom roms but I'm facing same problem no mobile network, other than that everything work fine....

You mean stock 4.1.2 rom? That's very weird for a 4.1.2 stock rom. Maybe an android 4.2 or 4.3 rom?
You are saying that I should try 4.2 or 4.3 custom rom??

Yep.
I am having same problem with the network connectivity. It happens with all custom ROMs that aren't stock based. I am stuck with Chameleon ROM which is a hybrid and has a stock samsung base. It is a great ROM but is outdated. I would like to upgrade. Any solution to this problem is welcomed. = D
Okay I think I got a solution here. The procedure is:
1) Make sure you are on a stock based ROM or other ROM where your network is working.
2) Backup EFS.
3) Flash custom ROM of your choice.
4) Restore EFS if there is no network.
Done.
To restore efs, you can use any app tailored to do so but for me it didn't work. I followed this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/guide-recover-imei-9-steps-t1264021
Follow the steps carefully and you will have network in any ROM you like. Hit thanks if helped.
PS: Sorry for double post
EDIT 2: Even though my network is back, which confirms that the problem was with the missing IMEI. I found out that the IMEI I got now is a fake one. Got to get the real one back now..
i did flash android 10 in my moto one power
after that i went back to stock rom but noe netwrok is not showing up

[ROM][STOCK][30A - 5.0.2] Stock rooted Lollipop Rom for Int. G Pad by skin1980

Hi guys, this is the latest Lollipop ROM rolled out by LG for the international G Pad 8.3.
It's the corean update but works just fine with mine and i hope also with your.
INFO:
1- You can flash it with the TWRP like every Rom out here, i used the bumped TWRP in the original devs thread;
2- The kernel is stock, i only set selinux to permissive because in my works for the G3 i've seen that it's the only way to avoid permission issues;
3- it's bumped so doesn't need nothing special, just flash it in TWRP like i said above;
4- You can dirty flash over the stock 4.4.2 ROM, i made it and had no issues at all.
5- If you are asking why you should flash this instead of the kdz, the answer is that with the "kdz way" you will upload your Bootloader too and you will lost the possibility to flash the twrp and any custom kernel since the new BL patch the exploit used by Bump.

Thanks very much once again ?
Flashed this and everything seems ok so far. Supersu didnt work for me in the first flash with ROM, but when i got back into recovery the second flash worked. Root seems to be pretty strong thus far. I am going to run this for the next few days and see how stock Lollipop is working. Thanks again for this!
Ran for a couple minutes and noticed vibration doesn't work. Do I need to enable something? Pretty solid so far!
Edit: You have to reboot for vibration
Looking great for me so far ,no issues, though I have a lot of setting up to do still ?
Hello,
Very good rom
bye bye kit kat and external sd storage problems
Thank you very much for this rom
Fantastic! Thanks for the work and sharing.
Just flashed it dirty and seems to work flawless.
Major improvements over 4.4 are the "recents apps" button and being able to switch user without having to use hard power button.
Thank you for sharing this!
Can anybody answer me what's with battery, is it worse than on KitKat? And is gamma fixed?
Thank you one again! Cheers!
Sweet! Downloading right now, thank you!!

I did. Full wipe worked fine.
Only issue I've noticed so far is the lockscreen weather doesn't seem to work.
I set it up as you would with the g3 but no luck.
Anyone managed to get it working?
For reference, I started with a completely wiped /formated tablet.
Hey dev, when you say 'dirt flash' you mean I have to wipe nothing? Just like if it is an OTA? Do I lose something?
rom is running very smooth so far without any problems, living in germany. much faster as KK relase.
thank you dev!
Skin yoy are awsome!
Glad to see you here to.. Lg g3 owner mate congrats and keep doing your thing.... Thanks once again you great developer!!!!
