Nabi 2 and helium - Fuhu Nabi 2

This is on a stock Nabi 2 with OTA updates. I am trying to backup a few games app data to move to my kids new Nvidia Shield tablets. Helium gives me the green check and says I am good to go. But, when I click backup I get "Backup Error" "An error occurred while performing your app backup. A log of the error has been sent to ClockworkMod. Click Backup to attempt to backup the remaining apps." Any clue how to fix this?

App backup failing

HI everyone
I am trying to backup my apps using App Backup. My prime is on .14, rooted. Every time I try backup even one app, it fails. I have tried both backing just the application and both app and data, and it failed both times
Can anyone help me please?
Un-rooted the tablet and still App backup is not working. I don't want to reset the tablet...can someone please tell me if their app backup is working on .14?

I attempted it as well and it failed. I've been using Titanium Backup. Never even tried the included program.
BUMP
Just got my PRIME and after installing some Apps thought a backup was in order.
I rooted the tablet, and now App Backup will not run. Bombs out before backing up the first App. Unrooted, and the same thing (aborts without backing anything up).
Suggestions?

I have ICS Resurrection Remix 2.2 and yes i am rooted, i think i solved it!!, i just located the backup that had the bug (Angry Birds space and angry grand) , downloaded the apps again and restored data and made another backup!,
Thanks for your time
Titanium Backup error solved.
If parsing error occurs, reflash SuperSU and make sure it updates binaries using CWM/TWRP.
Another reason could be in 4.3, TiBu doesn't look up location of the Back Up properly.
There is an easy fix.
Titanium Backup> Menu> Preferences>Select Backup Folder Location>Select Detect>Select Whole Device
Select storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup
Use the Current Folder
Restart TiBu
Worked on my GS 3 .
Let me know how it goes.

Problem with backuping Apps

hey guys,
I have a really tricky Problem with my Phone. I just updated from cm-10.1-20130728-NIGHTLY-i9300 to cm-10.2-20130814-NIGHTLY and i didn't realized that this one is the first CM with 4.3. I update my Phone nearly once a weak (CM for 3 Months) and I've never had Problems. So I don't make Backups anymore. (I know that isn't really smart )
But now the Problem is the following:
My Play Store can't download or update Apps. It says "Update for {...} could not be downloaded due to an error. (Error while retrieving information from Server.[RPC:S-5:AEC-o])"
My Backup apps (Titanium and Go Backup Pro) can't backup apps anymore. Go Backup Pro just says "an error has occurred" and Titanium backup says "Backup successful" but when I try to restore it, Titanium says "An error has occurred" too. Unfortunately they don't give me more information.
When I started my Phone the first Time with 4.3 there actually was no Root. If I started an app needing Root it just said my Phone is not rooted.
after reinstalling my Backup-Apps through an apk they now have Root rights. I think. I can't check cause they can't backup apps
I tried backup my Apps through ADB but It just freeze.
I still could use my Phone but every 30 seconds it says some App has crashed^^ even if the App doesn't crashed and it works fine.
What I want:
Just to backup my Apps und their data. So I can wipe my Phone and reinstall CM.
Any Ideas?
greetings halliba.
PS: Sorry for my bad English. I'm from Germany
If you dont have a nandroid backup....
Flash 10.1 again over 10.2 - phone should work as before update. Use titanium to backup.

You're gonna have to use ADB then. I know you said it freezes, but really you should be booted into recovery when doing this stuff (adb)
Try that.

Problem after restoring app+data using Titanium Backup

Hi,
I just switch ROM from 4.2.2 to 4.3.1. I backup all my apps and its data using Titanium backup. After I finished the installation of new ROM + restoring apps and data on my phone using titanium backup, some of my apps shows an error after I closed it that "Unfortunately, (APPS) has stopped".
This happen sometimes when I closed a game just like Candy Crush and Zombie Tsunami.
Is there a solution on this?

Clear the data if these apps and then check. And i must recommend GoBackup to bakcup your apps it works perfect without giving any prob like titanium. But it's my choice you can choose what you like.

The similar case's is coming from different user's too. Most of the app's isn't just working when upgrading from 4.2.2 to 4.3.1, they get crashed or simply stop working.
So just try something app's beside titanium backup, just give it a shot. Take all data of apps on your storage. And then copy it somewhere safe so that you can use it again. Then clear everything and try to use the data.
If you don't understand anything, feel free to ask. Best of luck :good:
Thanks for the help guys. It just happen on some of my apps specially on games. I will give it a try once I get irritated on this error.

this problem is because you backed up in 4.2.2 and restored in 4.3 using titanium backup due to conflicts in different versions
Hopefully it should be solved after updating those apps
Also i would recommend other backup methods than titanium backup for batch restore
TiBu isn't the problem.....it's the app data itself combined with the fact that you're trying to restore that data onto a different version of android than it was created on.
This is known to cause issues no matter how the data backup was created........

I always encountered this problem after I played Candy Crush. Once I closed Candy Crush, it shows this error unlike on the other game app like Zombie Tsunami. I tried to reinstall this CCS game but no luck same error. If I have time I will tried to backup again my app + data on a 4.3.1 version and see.
Thanks for the help mates.

Does it say which app it's trying to back up when it hangs on 2%? I've found that some apps don't play well with TiBu, especially when I'm trying to restore the app. Maybe you can exclude that app from the backup run.

I dnt know about the backing up issue but I can tell you when restoring apps and your having problems and ill asume its when restoring app/data cuz thats what I had problems with. When I try to restore both it hangs. If you just reinstall the app for playstore or the apk from wherever you got it from then use tb to restore just data ...That works everytime.
Maybe for backing apps and data up maybe do one at a time. It may take longer but youll get them backed.
