Replacing band help - Moto 360 2015

Hi, I have a black 42mm moto 360 2nd generation. I bought some 20mm watch pins off ebay but they are not quick release ones. I also bought a pebble steel black metal band to go with the watch. Does this mean that I have to use a spring bar tool when removing non-quick release pins?

Will the pins show up/be visible on this band?

Yes and yes

How would I insert & remove it with a spring bar tool ? I don't want to end up scratching the watch. Is it possible to buy quick release pins?

It is possible to use the spring bar tool, it will just take some steady hands and a little patience. I was able to get this band installed with the spring bar tool...
I have the silver case and was able to swap the bands with no scratches or dings to the case...
I'm sure there are quick release pins available, but the band I use doesn't allow for their use. I'd bet a quick Amazon search will turn up a few...

My old lg g watch has normal pins, but my new replacement (oxidation problems) has the new circular-pattern pins. It seems to be other material.
MIne are circular too. Over time they make changes to the hardware to fix issues.

Top and Bottom Bezel/Rails Replacement?

Okay as it turns out the top and bottom rails are actually coated plastic unlike the left and right side which is made of aluminum. I've got a few scratches and on the corner the coat is chipping. So I was wondering does anyone know if its easy to replace them without having to dismantle the phone? I found them selling cheap on http://www.etradesupply.com/sony-xperia-z-ultra-xl39h-side-rail.html and from the pictures I can see that it clips on the device but I need to be sure. So if anyone has done it or seen it done before please share it. Thank you.
I think they can come off without fully taking the phone apart
Zoom and look at these pictures http://stellatech.com/sony-c6806-xperia-z-ultra-front-cover-lcd-touchscreen-(black),a,en,816117.html

Has anyone found how to remove the top/bottom rails? Also, is it possible to just replace power button? I can't seem to find anything.

Didn't think so, but I found someone on eBay selling just the power button. Still can't find how to replace the top rail either.

Is this a speaker?

Has anyone noticed a 'hole' under the mic?

It seems to me like a possible speaker grill. Since Huawei Watch have it (currently disabled), I think it is possible that Moto 360 v2 can have it as well. If it is true the next Android Wear update may be very interesting for us.
Nope. That's a microphone and a lip for removing the back..
Yes, but original Moto 360 did not have this lip:
I did a quick google search for a teardown of the 360 (2015). Plenty of teardowns of the original but couldn't find one for the new generation. Interesting.
You can get a fingernail in between case and the back, right where that lip is. I have no desire to take the back off, but if you lift just a little you can see there's nothing underneath there.
Did anyone ever get this answered? I'm in between this and the Huawei Watch. I really want to go with the Moto but with the new speaker support for Android wear, Huawei might be the way to go.
IT DOESN'T HAVE A SPEAKER! Nobody found ever a speaker in a teardown (while both the Huawei and the Zenwatch speaker were found that way) and its not on the list of supported watches. You guys got to live with that fact.

How do you zen watch 2?

I have had my zenwatch 2 for almost a month now and i have to say, I like it. I don't love it but its great for what it is. I got what I payed for.
I want to know how other owners "zenwatch 2"?
I'll start.
The outside:
I purchased the cheapest zen watch with the rubber band, frankly it was the best rubber wrist band I have ever seen. A nice soft rubber.
I purchased a new wrist band because i wanted to "class it up a bit" so I purchased the Hadley-Roma 22-mm Black Silicone Layered Leather Watch Straphttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005EJH00A?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00
I don't really like the watch band but i am sticking with it for now. The watch band is what it says "silicon layered" I should have just purchased a rubber watch band. it feels nothing like leather and barley looks like leather.
Inside:
I use the apollo launcher, i like their app drawer better.
I made my own watch face with Watchmaker premium. Its pretty neat. I made 4 buttons on the right side of the watch allow me to access 4 apps the I set. I recommend watchmaker premium to anyone who cant find the right watch face for themselves.
Sorry about the blur

If anyone cares the W button is for google weather. the F button is for google fit. The K button is for keep. the H button is for hangouts.

Maybe Buying a couple of questions.

I am thinking about get the Q Founder. I have a few question.
1. Can you use any QI wireless charger to charge it?
2. Is the band easy to change like on the Moto 360 2nd gen and Huawei quick release?
3. What size band would I need to replace the one that comes with it?
Thanks!

Hi falcon26,
I have had one of these for a few months, so let me jump in;
1. Yes, this conforms to the normal QI standard. I have bought a generic version of the Moto 360 charger from amazon as with the metal band the one included can be a bit of a pain, but moreso for travelling it is small and neat to throw in a bag and does a good job.
2. The band (at least on the stainless steal version) is quick release, no tools required (not true for sizing of it however), and is the usual 22mm width. Please see the picture below.
3. 22mm, see above.
Cheers,
Andrew
