Cards much too big - Asus ZenWatch 2

Hello, I have a ZenWatch 2 with watch faces by Watchmaker. Inside the app I set the cards to small, but many apps (Whatsapp and Tapatalk for sure) seem not to care about it and fill the whole screen in ambient mode. They pop up and screen brightness goes up.
Is there a way to restrict the access of the cards in ambiend mode? I do not want the whole world to read my messages.

Its in the setting for watchmaker.
Pic a face in watchmaker and go to that setting and look under cards and big cards
Sent from my LG-H812 using XDA Free mobile app

Nope, the settings are "for all watch faces" as stated inside the app and the "large cards" is deactivated. So that does not solve the problem.
I did even deactivate "show in ambient", but it does not work.

Does it work for you in ambient?

Yes it does. Try stock watch faces. Maybe its a bug with watchmaker

OK, will try

The notifications come through on stock faces, too.

Addition: It's only Whatsapp and Tapatalk.

Hello. Its watchface maker. I tested both stock and watchface.
Stock looks normal.
Watchface maker looks big.
I contacted the makers of watchface to let them know

Not for me:
It's in ambient mode with all watch faces - Watchmaker and stock.
And it's not only Whatsapp and Tapatalk but also the notification test from android wear.
BTW: I find it very disturbing that the Zen Manager and Wear have quite similar or even same settings and if you change one of them it is not changed in the other app ...
Or the fakt that the "light up on turning the hand" has to be deactivated in watch and Zen Manager ... :/

First pick is stock watchface

I'm talking about ambient mode.
You can set the size of the cards in active mode inside the WatchMaker app generally for all WatchMaker watch faces. Look inside the "hamburger" menu under "settings" and "cards". I set it to small and when the screen is active I get small notifications. But when im AMBIENT mode no matter which watch face, the screen lights up and the notifications is full screen.

Battery Percentage display

I received my Xperia S today and am very happy....
a couple of things I noticed...
1) on the status switch there is no battery percentage remaining. Is there some other widget or shortcut that has it? I know I can go to Settings/about phone/status. I want it on my homepage.
2) I notice with the email that I can set up multiple accounts. This is fine. On my Arc it would show both accounts and on the right side would be a folder. I could tap the folder and it would open the email account and go to the folder display. Now email just shows the accounts. When I tap the accounts it goes to the inbox and i have to hit settings and then folders to bring up the folder display. Not a big deal but different. Anyone else notice this or a workaround?
Thanks.
For the battery, I installed Go Power.
For battery percentage, you can use 'Battery Indicator"

Apps supporting the multi-window mode

Hello fellow note 2 owners. I noticed that some non-samsung and non-google apps such as facebook and twitter appear in the multiwindow list. Did anyone find any other third party apps working there as well ?

never mind i accidentally clicked the "menu option" of my galaxy win/quattro and then the setting option popped out.
I know this is an old thread, but I don't think this necessarily works i.e. disabling auto-updates per individual app. I recently rooted an lg g4. As far as i know, I have had auto-update turned off, and as i saw the updates running, I checked the play-store to make sure it was off and even checked a few of the apps to make sure autoupdate was turned off and in every case auto update was turned off. and yet the updates still downloaded and updates ran. I would not even have known if I had not been awake at 3am.

[Solved] Tweak to keep watch always silhouette until tap?

Hi,
I got this watch used, arrived two days ago. I like it so far. Only tweaks done so far is unlock BL.
I want to preserve the battery life as much as possible though, while keeping it usable. So I think there is efficiency to be made by having the watch face stay as a silhouette instead of "waking up" whenever I look at it. To activate the watch, I have no problem with tapping it once or twice.
Does such a tweak exist? I could not find it in settings (only to turn screen off completely when inactive). Any prerequisites for such a tweak (e.g. root)?
Many thanks.
Are you on 5.1.1 (LCA43)? If yes, you can try disabling wrist gestures in watch settings. Of course, you won't be able to move trough cards as well if you disable it, but it will prevent the screen to leave dim mode when you move your wrist.

I tried that before (am on LCA43), but it seems to just disable the scroll. Just tried again, may have made a difference this time. Though it looks like the screen still activates 1 out of the 5 times I put the watch to my face. We shall see. Thanks!
You're correct, my bad! The setting you want is in the Android Wear app: Tilt to wake screen. You may want to keep wrist gestures on.

Found it! The guide I found had the setting on the main page. I had to tap on the actual device listing to get to the sub page with all the goodies (Google probably did it that way so you can program different actions for different watches).
Thanks again!
By the way, one day later with no charge in between. I am proud of this:

This app will not use much battery. Images in this app are either half pixel images or having in two parts which replace one another to prevent screen burn.
Hi
Just a question
Is it dangerous to use this App ? Screen burn !!!
Thx
