Remix OS for PIXEL C? - Remix OS for PC

Love the tablet, hate the OS. Is there any expectations of pixel c getting the remix OS in the future?

Remix is Lollipop and Pixel C is Marshmellow. So whenever Remix goes 6.0

So that's Pixel C added to the list of RemixOS supported ARM devices, once Remix shifts to MM (or N), then?

Hi Remix team, could you add the video recording feature found in Android 4.4+ ?
How to update ?
I have this installed as a dual boot.
How do I safely update to the new version ?
Do I have to replace just certain file's or everything ?
If only certain file's, which one's ?
Quick change my physical keyboard layout
Yeah, but when i want to write both in ِarabic and in english in the same sentence i need to do that again and change it to enlgish again. I have chosen two languges and ctrl ּּּּ+ shift, ctrl ּּ+ alt, alt ּ+ shift doesnt work to change the phisical layout....
There is no system.img in the newest update, just a system.sfs. Why? How am I suppose to upgrade my current installation?
32-bit RemixOS would be awesome, because I'm not able to install RemixOS on my Dell Venue 8 Pro (32-bit UEFI...) yet.

Support for other than FAT32 system will be great, so we can have more free space for data.
Hi Remix team, thanks for sharing this update .
I have to say that I was expecting too much improving or , at least , much detail about that "minor bugs" , but I know that every step is important in achieving a good and stable product .
Time ago , I have asked to Jide for becoming a tester for Remix OS PC , but .... no answer , I hope this time I will get a positive answer from this team .
battery indicator , was really an important issue, great work !!

The question is: how to safely update to latest version?
And in the installer, just press TAB and write "INSTALL=1" and ENTER to install in NTFS or EXT4 to have all space you want.

Very interested in 32-bit version.
Is it possible to install it on a hard disk and not on a USB drive? E. g. to install it on a VMware virtual machine.

You can install it on a virtual machine and actually on your hard drive (but you'll need a USB drive for install it I think).

Installing on hard drive needs USB, virtual machine I have no idea. But I saw some people talking about VirtualBox running Remix OS.

Keep up the good work @RemixOS_Jason , and please consider updates also regarding NVIDIA gpu-s, on my PC with gtx 970 the image is messed up both on DVI and on hdmi (I have dual-screen setup)
My PC can read from my USB drive at 20MB/s, but RemixOS refuses to boot, and tells me it can't even read the USB drive at 2MB/s
What's going on?

[AOSP 9.0] [Experimental] Android 9.0 GSI

WARNING: You'll most probably loose ALL your data, and might break your phone. Please use with extreme caution!
The goal of this ROM is to provide full Treble-compatible hardware support, and nothing else.
This means that hardware which DON'T have Treble API won't be supported, like Essential's external camera.
No feature will be added. This will ease forward porting to new Android versions, which is the very goal of Project Treble
My hope is that other ROM developers will use this ROM as a basis to construct more advanced ROM.
For a list of treble supported devices, consult and fill https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/wiki
How to flash:
1- Flash a treble rom (GSI only has 8.1 vndk. 8.0 probably won't work.)
2- Extract p-gsi-built.zip and flash system.img
3- Flash p-boot-other-fixes.zip, wifi fix, POST-sGSI_boot-patch.zip (thanks to erfanoabdi bootpatcher from p semi-gsi)
4- Reboot
Bugs:
- Camera
- Flashlight
-VoLTE
(Tested on Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4A, bugs can change according to device.)
Download:
9.0.0_r3 (2018-08-07):
system.img for A ARM64 devices vanilla
Telegram Account: MacTavishAO
Thanks to: @erfanoabdi @phhusson and thanks to ChristianEM for wifi fix.
"Bayram Kılıç and Burak Mete Erdoğan the guys who says pixel stock and aosp is totally same. These 2 guys said to me 'Idiot released same rom. Unnecessary'. LOL. From their mouths; 'Pixel stock is started being AOSP. Pixel Team will release AOSP stock rom for pixel devices. It is pretty smooth. And said Pixel Team would give P immediately if AOSP wasn't problematic they fixed it.' Pixel's UI isn't AOSP UI lol "
for any device ?, thanks

DId you make sure you installed Mokee & the no-verity zips so your storage is unencrypted? GSIs won't boot with encrypted storage. Also make sure you factory reset in TWRP before you attempt to boot so your data folder is all fresh and clean.

Android Q Developer Preview GSI for treblized device with 8.1 or P vendor is out

Android Q Developer Preview GSI for treblized device with 8.1 or P vendor is out and probably work on our LeEco Le Max 2
link : https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...ment/rom-android-p-developer-preview-t3816659
flash "qfixes.zip" as the last step if Q can't boot with AEX vendor !
or you can use Nitrogen pie OS Vendor , it would be fine
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
another way here , you can try this , by following this video , you should have the latest AEX pie System first , it will boot successfully
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIqGMon75cE
all the files you need are here
https://zhihe.in/Project Treble GSI/Android Q v0.2(包含修复包和gapps)/
At the moment seems like is not working on our device (reboot to Fastboot)
Edit: Worknig with Nitrogen OS pie vendor, as stated on the OP post.
Edit2: To fix the storage issue, just "adb shell sm set-isolated-storage off" to make it work.

I have tested this. It was very sluggish and Google Play did not work. In fact I branched off to @erfanoabdi as the images given in your post did not work for me. Besides during that time I had a compounded issue of my cable failing highly intermittently which I realized on installing AEX 09/05 version and hence I did not post any reply here. I suspect the cable as it was giving blank screen with back-light turning on/off and exactly the same was happening with AEX 09/05.
The sys img at https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/gsi/Generic-Aonly-Q-20190411-ErfanGSI.img.7z does boot up.
Requirement of a Permissive Selinux ROM was met with the installation of Nitrogen OS at http://dl.nixadm.ru/nitrogen-9-x2/Nitrogen-OS-P-x2-20190221-1712.zip. Permissiver is not required. Best practice would be to boot up Nitrogen once before installing Q preview by @erfanoabdi. Initial setup by Google loops thru SIM and net selection.
GApps install as per the post at https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...ment/rom-android-p-developer-preview-t3816659 is not suggested. Returns as "Incompatible". If anyone wants to test please modify the link given in first post at https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...ment/rom-android-p-developer-preview-t3816659 under "Notes" - it has an error - http://install https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/googl...6-0-89-100400-239467275-android-apk-download/ - marked in blue.
VoLTE is listed under global bugs. See attached screen shots for details. Need to wait for a while to get dialpad.
Since I saw a new GSI with "10", which I assumed as Q - not sure though, I tried https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/gsi/Generic-Aonly-10-20190509-ErfanGSI.img.7z.
It ended up with boot loop.
VoLTE issue is similar to what was experienced with O and P at the beginning. The good news is that a mfr dumped unit could move from M to Q probably, thanks to devs.
Edit: Forgot to add...no issue with secure WiFi as seen on YouTube video link given. First boot takes a while so wait.

I hopped on to Pixel A only first but it did not boot. Must be the freaking cable of mine creating such mess up. I do not use FP or cast. Hotspot, yes occasionally. May be I will give it a try later. Thank you.
And lolinet servers are working but the speed i get is 370KB/Sec....does not matter
Edit: no luck on Pixel A 10/05 build. Boot loop. No idea if I've to install previous one and dirty flash sys img of 10/05 on top. Base Nitrogen P 22/2.

It installed on Pixel A 20190411 alright. Gave "device not certified" error. Went to recommended Google site, input GSF id, got a registered id number too. But continued to give same error even after that too. Pixel A 20190510 boot loops on my device - never came out even after 35 minutes. Tried with Nitrogen and Baikal.
Generic A behaved exactly the same way with regard to 04/11 and 05/09 builds but did not try installing GMS 17.1.22 on that couple of days back. Moved to try Pixel A as @bilausdaniel had mentioned that Pixel A is being used as a daily driver.
However due to data/call requirements on VoLTE SIM moved back to P.
Edit: I installed nodpi version of GMS 17.1.22 at -https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-services/google-play-services-17-1-22-release/google-play-services-17-1-22-020400-245988633-android-apk-download/download/
On trying again Pixel A 20190411 the above GMS 17.1.22 registered got a new Registered Android ID, able to login. It took some time during which "Google Play Services requires an action" was screaming down as notifications.
All errors you had are because you didn't keeped old pie system.nitrogen or baikal.you must do dirty flash of Q pixel a image from 10.05. over previous pie rom.so don't wipe anything in twrp.ok?just flash as image + permissiver2+zygote2.mount system and vendor.reboot.

You are right. I was wiping P system. But that doesn't still explain why dirty flashing Pixel A 05/10 over a booted Pixel A Q 04/11 resulted in boot-loop. Anyway now I'm on 04/11 build. Will try dirty flashing 05/10 later after checking how my unit behaves. Thank you.

[Unoffical] [Gsi-Port] Pixel Experience Q

This is a little side project of mine,
(This isn't built from source for Montana by Anyone, this is based on a project treble GSI, ridiculous I have to mention that)
Its Pixel Experience based on android Q for the Motorola Moto G5s Montana!
This is Gsi-Based so dont expect this to perform amazingly or 100% support custom kernels,
also, more of this at either t.me/yuvendors by @yukosky or t.me/MotoXProject by me on telegram
Features?
its pixel experience, what do you expect? Most if not all current Pixel Features
You can find vendor updates (don't use A/B vendors!) On
T.me/yuvendors (search for shyfy vendor WITHOUT A/B patch)
Bugs:
-Adb not working (due to base vendor, vendor will be updated soon)
-For normal magisk, install zygote fix v2 after flashing of Magisk!
Link : https://www.cyanogenmods.org/downloads/get/file/ZygoteFix-v2-for-Android-10.zip
-Motorola "Fingerprint Gestures" and general UI (for some people at least)
-in call audio is a bit broken
-some users report microphone problems

1. Don't dirty flash from previous ROMs
2. If you have latest TWRP official, or SHRP you should be fine
3. It's pixel experience, obviously it has Gapps pre-installed
4.Use Phh-Magisk, otherwise it will just infinitely boot! (Google it)

Moto Gestures are a bit buggy anyways, that's because of the ROMs though

The Moto Gestures are taken from another device by Motorola running Android 10, I will try to update them if I get hold of a Moto Device on Q with Moto actions

No, it's from another Motorola device with an android 10 custom ROM, I don't remember which device though :/
I just switched to this Gsi from the official Pixel Experience plus Pie ROM. Both speakers and mic are not working while calling only. Can anyone help me out with this.

Sadly in call audio is broken, but I didn't know of mic problems.
Well I guess I'll note that
Thanks!
