Hello there everyone my name is Jon Wesley Tranchida! I am a 21 year old android developer and lover by heart and soul and I love customizing every aspect of my android devices! That is why i am bringing to you guys my very own ROM called TranchidaKat ROM! I hope you guys and girls will enjoy my ROM as much as i do. This ROM brings so many new features that you will both love and enjoy. Just make sure that you know i am not responsible for any damage that is caused by your device. In case something goes wrong you can always leave a message on here and i will help you out! Make sure you read everything on here twice and happy flashing!
Please note this ROM has only been tested on the SM-T230NU and if you use it on any other device model please do not report bugs and thank you for your cooperation
TranchidaKat ROM v1.5 Features List:
1. Based on the latest stock firmware for the SM-T230NU which is PDA (T230NUUEU0APA1)
2. When you install the ROM it also installs busybox into xbin system folder
3. Includes Xposed installer and tons and tons of xposed modules built into the ROM
4. Includes CM11 Apollo Music Player, Sony Music, Touchwiz Music, and Phonograph music player
5. Includes Nexus 7 Stock Launcher and Apex Launcher apps in the ROM
6. CM11 Launcher (Trebuchet) is included in the ROM
7. Includes All the basic touchwiz apps such as calendar, clock, calculator, email, and etc...
8. Removed system update function from settings app
9. Included app ops feature into settings app
10. Renamed about device in settings app to about tablet
11. Themed headset icon to a new icon when you plug in headphones
1.2. Included many new apps in the ROM to enhance your experience
13. Included new alarm, notification, and ringtone sounds in the ROM
14. Made the status bar icons be full brightness (Samsung made them dim by default)
15. Included Nova launcher and google launcher as well as apex launcher in the ROM
16. ROM is ROOTED by default and Includes latest SuperSu 2.82
17. Included CM11 Wallpapers App in the ROM

ROM Installation Instructions:
Step 1:
Make sure you are on the latest Stock Firmware for the SM-T230NU and if you are not you will have to odin restore the latest firmware!

Step 2:
Make sure you have latest TWRP Recovery if you don't you will have to flash the custom recovery with odin.

Step 3:
Download the Flashable TranchidaKat ROM v1.5 Latest Zip from the Downloads Section and save it somewhere on your device or better your computer. If you downloaded the zip on your pc you will have to transfer it to your tablet or your micro sdcard that goes in your tablet
Step 4:
Boot into twrp recovery and then click on the wipe option. Make sure that you wipe cache, dalvik cache, system, and data before you install the ROM. If you don't see the ROM file you downloaded try changing the storage location. You will now see the ROM file and click on that and slide to install TranchidaKat ROM on your tab 4 SM-T230NU. Please allow up to 10 minutes for the ROM to install. Root access and busybox is included so no need to flash those things
Step 5:
Allow up to 10 minutes for the ROM to boot up it will take a while because our tablet doesn't have that fast of a processor. You may notice that the boot animation will probably lag so don't worry because this happens on first boot up because everything is getting setup which uses all of the processor. Every other time you boot the tablet up it won't lag so you don't have to worry. Once you are booted up setup the ROM as usual and you are golden Once you are booted and you have setup the rom give your tab a little rest before doing anything major. Several addon and mods will be coming soon so once you are all setup you can flash these mods if you want too Please check FAQ if you have any minor issues and if you need further help just message me on this thread or email me with my email that is in the contact section.

Q: Why isn't the Play Store working?
A: Check your date and time settings they could be wrong
Q: My WIFI doesn't work or i am having screen problems or the ROM doesn't boot up at all
A: Check your device model it probably isn't the SM-T230NU
Q: I love your ROM but there are too many system apps that I don't need how can i get rid of them?
A: This is easy just use a root file manager and delete the files using that app but be careful and there should be guides online to help you out
Q: Can i request any features that could go into your ROM?
A: You sure can but i may not put them in my ROM

Does the galaxy tab 4 have an app called downloads its the the download manger for the browser. If not how do you access your download list?

Yes it has a stock download manager called "My Files". The UI for it is very bad so I prefer FX file manager from the playstore instead.

Hey guys so quick update: My laptop is broken and can't be fixed and has already been recycled through some place but i will be getting another computer by next week hopefully. Once i get my new computer i will be uploading more ROM updates
However i am still working on the rom on the tablet itself and here are the major and minor changes that will be in tranchidakat rom v1.1 for the tab 4 SM-T230NU!
1. Replaced supursu beta 2.52 with latest supersu from playstore which is supersu v2.46 stable
2. Added Several more apps
3. Added more notification sounds and added ringtones back in rom for use with hangouts app
4. Removed the aosp google clock app due to incompatibility issues
5. Fixed the shutdown qmg animation
6. Updated all apps and mods in the rom as of today 2/28/2016
7. More addon/mods coming soon including kids mode, more boot animations to choose from, 3minit battery mod, plus even more
8. Fixed performance issues and lag issues
9. More xposed modules added to the rom
10. Removed some apps and little modification to settings app
11. Now Based On New ROM Base: T230NUUEU0APA1 4.4.2 KK
12. Fixed battery life issues
