[ROM] [OFFLINE] [CM12.1] TranchidaPop v1.0 [5.1.1 Lollipop] [7/8/16] - ONE Android Development

Hello there everyone my full real name is Jon Wesley Tranchida (Tran-chee-da is how my last name sounds), I am a 20 year old Android Geek and Developer by heart and soul and this is my ROM. It is called TranchidaPop because I thought it was a great name because Android is so inspiring to us and it's also named after my last name and this ROM is based on Sultanxda latest CM12.1 ROM from April 10th 2016. This ROM base and kernel is not mine but it belongs to it's rightful owner which is sultanxda. The ROM base and kernel will never be mine. My ROM does have a lot of features, apps, mods , and tweaks and may or will have more features to come. I hope you can enjoy my ROM. I try to do my best for everyone! This ROM does not have root access included so you will have to flash SuperSu seperately and already has all the right google apps and services so there is no need to flash a Gapps package after you flash the ROM. All you do is flash the ROM and SuperSu! I also wish all of you the best of luck, joy, and happiness with my ROM and your daily lives and may God bless you all!

ROM Bugs & Problems:
There shouldn't be any bugs right now in the build but if you find any do report them
ROM Installation Guide:
Please Read Very Important!
Before you flash my ROM make sure you flash the proper Lollipop Firmware and Modem! I will be uploading this flashable zip shortly! This will make sure you have everything working correctly when you flash my ROM!
Follow these steps to install TranchidaPop v1.0 ROM:
1. Download a custom recovery and flash it however you need, I recommend the TWRP v2.8.6.0 recovery. You will then need to download the supersu file if you want root access. Then download the Modem and Firmware file which i will be uploading shortly! Then finally download my latest TranchidaPop v1.0 ROM build.
2. In recovery first backup your current ROM (very important and optional)
3. In recovery mode if you have TWRP just wipe everything but internal storage.
4. Now in your TWRP recovery multi select the zips in the following order which are: Modem/Firmware file, ROM file, SuperSu file! I repeat do not flash any Gapps package! You will have many issues and gapps are already included
5. Let the files install and now proceed to step 6 or reboot device
Now this step is for optional Addons/Mods:
Now once ROM is installed don't reboot your device just yet. If you want to flash any Addons/Mods you can do so right now. Just flash them without wiping. After that is done you can proceed to Step 6.
6. Download my Addon/Mods & future ROM updates if you want.
7. Want to leave positive feedback or suggestions? Please do on this thread or you can PM me!

v1.3:
1. Rebased on sultanxda CM12.1 Build from April 10th 2016
2. Updated Gapps Files in ROM
3. Added Tons more apps and features in the ROM
4. Updated all apps and mods in the ROM as of 4/10/16
5. All bugs and/or problems should be fixed now
6. New boot animation
v1.2:
1. Fixed a major bug where you couldn't use the ROM at all because nfc kept popping up saying it force closed during the CM setup wizard right after the opo booted up for the first time. Now the ROM is usable again thanks to me fixing it completely and rebuilding the ROM all over again. Please refrain from downloading v1.1 as it is unusable unfortunately. Instead download this latest build and you will be golden
2. Decreased ROM size a teeny tiny bit
v1.1:
1. Changed ROM Zip Structure and now it is 3X faster when flashing ROM!
2. Decreased ROM Size a little bit
3. Hopefully fixed bugs as if there were any idk i forgot
4. Updated ROM build date and time
5. Stay tuned for my next ROM which will be based off of the latest Sultanxda marshmellow build
6. Removed SuperSu Root access in the ROM so now you have to flash the v2.46 supersu zip
v1.0:
1. Initial Release

I personally do not like the current state android 6.0.1 is in right now, its not that stable and I personally love android 5.1.1 LP builds rather than marshmellow right now thank you
To everyone i kindly ask that you please do not post comments about marshmellow or any other stuff besides my ROM or sultans 5.1.1 rom

as u have used sultans rom and kernel ! id like to ask if you have included the display drivers from sultans kernel as well ? because new opo with LG displays are causing display leak issues with sultans kernel !

Hi, JT1510365,
This your ROM is based on Sultanxda latest cm12.1 ROM. But we need ROM is based on Sultanxda latest cm13.0 ROM. And with support f2fs format!
Good luck!

I disagree and from now on we are not going to clutter this thread with anything marshmellow related ok people like i can't stand mm right now and i have to hear you all ***** like wheres marshmellow i am getting sick and tired of hearing the word marshmellow when our device hasnt even recieved a stock rom of mm so please just try this rom and give me feedback or else i will close this thread and remove my builds.
Also i am not going to make one either as i don't know how to make it and every time i try to make it the rom bootloops so i am not going to make a mm rom i am fine with my stable lollipop rom which is way better than mm

Nope ! I did a full wipe and after installing the Rom and the pico gapp I rebooted the device. Got a message "upgrading android" and after 3 of ... it strated to reboot again and again. I let it reboot for 21 times till I decided to kill it and put back V2 of your ROM
Unless this ROM includes the CM12 firmware upgrade, maybe you should link it to them as an one-time upgrade as long as they stay on CM12 based ROMs.
EDIT: yep it boots up well with the cm12 firmware upgrade by martin_ro.

THERE WILL BE NO MORE 5.02 BUILDS
REFER TO THIS THREAD FOR NEW 5.1 BUILDS BY eagleeyetom :good:
Attention:
1) At bootup, this rom will self reboot after a few seconds during the first go,
and then will boot normally. - don't panic.
2) New modem firmware is NOT REQUIRED, so you'll need to flash the old modem or be coming
from a non-alpha-modem rom: link
3) You need to flash supersu if you want root access: http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu

Yes, the thing is it brings Ondemand as default gov, switching to Interactive does the trick too.
But most important, there are really nice features in the way, we just need to be patient. I'm myself excited to see Omni supporting "layers" and the implementation of ambient display as active display.
But for now I'm very pleased about how solid it's working.

No need to flash Cm12 as Omni still uses the old firmware and modem. If you are on cm11s or any other cm11 ROM you can flash directly.

If you want to go from blisspop you will have to flash cm11 modem and firmware or else you will have SOD during calls.
Also just an FYI to all camera is not working good enough. Pictures look muddy.
Will that the same for the official release? Dont like to flash cm11 because i have best signal with actual baseband

Omni Lollipop is unreleased yet, these are unofficial builds. If anyone's willing to take some screenshots I'll happily place them in the Op, yet I don't see much point in that... for now all lollipop roms look pretty much the same. But the team is working on giving layer's support and that will be a nice chance to toy with looks.
About features, i'll update the Op with some info about that. Yet I think you should try it yourself. Omni at this stage won't make you choose it for features, but for it's solid developement.

In my experience, you don't need to flash the whole CM11 firmware. Flashing CM11s or CM11 modem should be enough. It's available in the dedicated thread for modems, but if someone can't find that one, let me know and I'll provide the link.

Same as cm12.1. Nothing new. ( This build is a more optimized & performance build. Nothing to do with new looks ). Don't quote whole OP for that
How to ROOT
@Santhosh M , sorry to be childish. But I am hesitating to ROOT after the update because there is no separate guide to root 64 Bit OS. Is it same as before. I have done Rooting and CWM on CM11. Should I follow same procedure and also does same CWM works in CM12 also.
Nice work dev well done going to try this rom definitely..

Thanks, Rooted and Installed TWRP. Working Well. But I flashed this ROM and GAPPS (64-Bit for 5.1) from HERE, but every time initial setup stops and starts again from "SetUp WiFi". I tried with single SIM and without SIM also but every time Initial SetUp stops and starts again from beginning. I also tried Flashing this ROM without GAPPS and then It booted but quite Laggy. Only one thing which I didn't do is connect to wifi network as I haven't any available. I use 3G on phone. At the end I restored my backup. Is there something wrong with these GAPPS? If yes then please provide a link to GAPPS working with this ROM.

[SM-G850F][SLTE] CyanogenMod 13.0 UNOFFICIAL BETA7 (Android 6.0) - UPDATE: 2016-11-12

ABOUT THE GALAXY ALPHA CM-13.0 PROJECT
I'm working on getting CyanogenMod working on the Galaxy Alpha since October 2014. This ROM is not complete. There are still features which are not fully working and there are for sure things which need bugfixing. Please check the Known Bugs section before reporting issues.
I work on this project for FREE and putting in a lot of hours into it. A small donation would help to buy better tools to improve the development some day.
RECOVERY
To be able to install the ROM you need a recovery. I suggest to use my TWRP Recovery build. You can find it here.
BACKUP
Before installing the ROM you should create backups. The most important backup is to create one of the EFS partition and store it on safe place on your computer. If something goes wrong you need to restore this partition. It holds information about your device, like the MAC address for your wifi and information for the radio.
DOWNLOAD
You are storing very sensitive information on your phone. You always have to be careful what ROMs you flash and whom you trust. If you don't trust me then don't use my ROM or compile it from source by yourself.
The ROM will be gpg signed with my key 0xCC014E3D. You can verify the ROM with 'gpg --verify cm-12.1-20150901-UNOFFICIAL-slte-beta1.zip.asc '.
Detailed information and instruction for Windows can be found here.
Download BETA
FLASHING THE ROM
As this is a Marshmellow (Android 6) based ROM you need to flash sboot (bootloader) and the modem image from one of the latest LL releases. Or install a LL ROM via the Samsung update option. You can find the latest stock ROM here. Suggested modem version is: G850FXXU2COK6 or newer
I suggest to put the ROM on a USB disk and use a USB OTG cable to flash the ROM. It is also possible to put it on the emulated sdcard and flash it from there.
GAPPS
I suggest to use Open GAPPS.
REPORTING BUGS
Give the programmer some credit for basic intelligence: if the program really
didn't work at all, they would probably have noticed. Since they haven't
noticed, it must be working for them. Therefore, either you are doing something
differently from them, or your environment is different from theirs. They need
information; providing this information is the purpose of a bug report. More
information is almost always better than less.

Yo Modpunk congrats on getting this far! Now people will at least ***** less about when CM13 will be out lol
Quick question.. If I have your newest CM12.1 ROM installed, will there be any issues installing CM13 through that or do I still need to flash something beforehand? My phones modem version shows as G850FXXU1COF1, dunno if that's a newer or older version :3
hello i just put your rom on my alpha , everything works , the GPS sets slowly , the echo when you put the speaker in a conversation . but this is resolved by lowering the sound. renault car kit works it's great. for a first it's very positive I congratulate you .
Thanks a lot @modpunk
for all that just need the modem.bin of the latest Firmware..
to flash via ODIN (CP)
http://workupload.com/file/YbEVuPZB
as it's the same Baseband but should probably work for flashing:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64434686 this one can be used
Best,
Blubberor
Thanks Blubberor, but did you mean to flash it with ODIN (CP)? Because CSC doesn't let me choose bin files

Yes I experienced this but you can easily install any camera app. Otherwise the Rom in comparison to resurrection is less laggy with buttery smooth transitions. Best rom till now!

There is no need to install SuperSU. Root privileges is part of the Privacy Guard. So why do you need SuperSU? AFWall+ works just fine for me with root access ...

DOWNLOAD ROM
DOWNLOAD TWRP
DOWNLOAD FIRMWARE 20s
DOWNLOAD GAPPS
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip
2) Boot into Recovery
2a) Flash firmware 20s if you dont have it
2b) Flash the latest TWRP [13/04 or newer] and reboot to recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps
6) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
ROM uses Blackscreen kernel
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.
KNOWN ISSUES
You tell me the bugs
Don't expect any support if you:

Guide for the best battery life:
1. Install Greenify and enable it for all apps (this is the best option, but if you want notifications to come up without delay just don't apply it to app)
2. Open Developer options and disable logging
3. Install forcedoze app and configure it
4. Try not to use the highest brightness settings ;p
5. Youtube loves battery juice so better don't watch it frequently
6. Enjoy best battery life
Guide for the best performance:
1. Install Blackscreen kernel
2. Change governor to wheatley (OFC you can use other governors, for me Interactive gets the job done)
3. Open Developer options and disable logging
4. Make throttling temperature higher so that CPU won't drop mhz
5. Enjoy the best performance
If you want to report bug better bring logcat with you
When there is no OTA just don't scream I have private life too Ota can be canceled becouse of various reasons
But normally OTA will be at Saturdays
Enjoy one of the best ROMs you have ever seen
