Free Material Design Patterns and Backgrounds - Android Design Resources

Free Material Design Patterns and BackgroundsYou never know when you're going to need a great looking backdrop in one of your designs. I was recently creating a layout for my app that turns your phone into a solar panel charger and charges your phone in seconds! I needed some different backdrops for the many pages on my app. The app still isn't working properly but I do have some great designs.
There is a designer who goes by the username "Oxygenna" who creates amazing looking material design patterns. These always come in handy and they're great to have around just in case you need them.

Wire Flow Wireframe Design
When it comes to putting together a wireframe for your app, most of us go straight to AI or Sketch. I've always thought it would make more sense to design the wireframe right on your Android device since that's where people will be using your app anyways. I could never find a decent wireframing app until recently when the Play store put Wire Flow in my recommended apps.
So many wireframe templates will charge you to use them, but Wire Flow is 100% free and is still under active development. Lots of people are really enjoying this app and it has 4.4 stars on the Play store.
So if you're looking to wireframe an app, download Wire Flow and give it a try.

Are there any other apps that you know of that are great for putting together a wireframe? Let me know in the comments!

Ever wonder how developers get those amazing screenshots to show off their app? It adds quite a bit of value to a screenshot when you see it in the frame of an Android device. It gives it a more realistic look and displays your app in the way that the user will see it.
You could work in Photoshop to put something like this together but one of the best ways to do this is to use an app caller Screener.
With Screener, you can import your screenshots and create a frame using mockups of the latest Android devices. You can choose between 3D, flat or minimalist designs. Then you can go through and choose a custom background as well.
The library of frames is regularly updated with new phone mockups. The app is very easy to use and you'll have better looking screenshots within a minute of using the app.

[FREE][Android][App] Hypercycle - Custom Clothing +

Hypercycle - When people use our app, they create designs for clothing and accessories and share those designs with the world. They can also choose to leverage relationships we’ve built with manufacturing partners to make those creations come to life. When you see something you like, you can download that pattern or design, apply it to an item of your choosing, such as a stylish cover for your racing drone or a pair of leggings, and then have that item manufactured and delivered to you within 5-14 business days, depending on the selected bespoke manufacture that we've partnered with. Items include t-shirts, tank tops, yoga & athletic wear, pillows, phone cases, skateboards, and more.
Due to the fact that I am a new user, you will simply have to look it up!

Help Modifying Beautiful Widgets Theme/skin

Google Pixel
Android 7.1
Nova Prime Launcher - Widget padding disabled, Page indicator disabled
I'm wanting to modify the default clock theme to fit my homescreen, edge-to-edge. It currently looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
There is a gap at the bottom (noticeable above the dock background), a smaller gap on the right side (difficult to notice in the screenshot, against a light background), and a large gap at the top (along with a blue border line I'd like to remove).
Compare the above image with Google's calendar widget. There are no gaps on any of the four sides. This is how I want the BW widget to fit:
I've tried applying multiple themes, and they each have varying gaps across the four sides. I've messed around with the SKINcreator, but I don't see documentation stating maximum dimensions of theme elements. Anyone with experience creating BW themes have advice?
