Help Modifying Beautiful Widgets Theme/skin - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Google Pixel
Android 7.1
Nova Prime Launcher - Widget padding disabled, Page indicator disabled
I'm wanting to modify the default clock theme to fit my homescreen, edge-to-edge. It currently looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
There is a gap at the bottom (noticeable above the dock background), a smaller gap on the right side (difficult to notice in the screenshot, against a light background), and a large gap at the top (along with a blue border line I'd like to remove).
Compare the above image with Google's calendar widget. There are no gaps on any of the four sides. This is how I want the BW widget to fit:
I've tried applying multiple themes, and they each have varying gaps across the four sides. I've messed around with the SKINcreator, but I don't see documentation stating maximum dimensions of theme elements. Anyone with experience creating BW themes have advice?

dumb question, how to set wallpaper optimally?

I'm trying to set a 960x800 image as a wallpaper, it's actually packed in with Onyx but I switched to Axura and I pulled the wallpaper out of the Onyx TW chooser, so I'm trying to set it as a wallpaper but there's this weird cropping thing I have to do and no matter how I do it I can't get it zoomed out enough so that it looks like it did when it was in the Onyx TW wallpaper chooser... it always zooms in too close when I try to use the cropper thing.. does anyone know how to do this correctly???
It's pissing me off, this should be dead simple

No workie...?

it 'workies' but how am I supposed to stretch the box? sometimes as you're dragging the lines the image zooms in and out.. like what's the optimal position of the box? the way you've got it pictured? so you don't want it to cover the whole image?
When out zooms in pull the bottom or the top that usually corrects it
to odin and back again

Background problem.

I have been trying to get my background picture just right, for a little over 3 hours. But it always wants to crop the picture. Even when I make the picture the exact res of the phone. (800x480, landscape)... It crops a SIGNIFICANT portion out!

}
That is the picture I want.
That is the picture I get... Why? And how do I fix that? Btw. It crops EVERY picture. Even the ones in the DSC Wallpapers folder.
Bump
lol... you dont realize that wallpaper usually are stretch (centered and filled) to accommodate for the moving of homescreen from one to another?
how bout go to the launcher and search for disable wallpaper scrolling and turn it on...
another way is that you just need to make the wallpaper a bit bigger... like 1024x600, something like that...
The actual wallpaper size is 960x854. Keep in mind you will lose a little bit from the status bar and from the tiled wallpaper.

Wallpapers with Sense 4 look

This is something i posted for the EVO 3D but it works on this phon too due to the same resolution.
Hi guys. This Wallpapers are edited by myself and i want to share with you. The Dock is taken from a skin for Sense 4(i don't remember the name of the guy) and it is edited to match perfectly with the Highlighted items in Dock. Also the divider lines for the "All apps" Menu are more separated to match with the selection and the dock was squared(i like it more). All the Wallpapers in qHD(960*540) are in the Zip File, don't download the thumbnails.
After you have applied the Wallpaper go to market and download this skin: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.htc.skin.szp_sade&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5odGMuc2tpbi5zenBfc2FkZSJd
And you should have a Home screen like this:
Pack 1
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Pack 2
Pack 3
Here is the Dock Bar. You can take it to make your own Wallpapers. Just download the Bar, select a Wallpaper(540*960) and center the dock in Paint or whatever program you like to use.

Free Material Design Patterns and Backgrounds

Free Material Design Patterns and BackgroundsYou never know when you're going to need a great looking backdrop in one of your designs. I was recently creating a layout for my app that turns your phone into a solar panel charger and charges your phone in seconds! I needed some different backdrops for the many pages on my app. The app still isn't working properly but I do have some great designs.
There is a designer who goes by the username "Oxygenna" who creates amazing looking material design patterns. These always come in handy and they're great to have around just in case you need them.

Quick Settings/Notification Drop Down Menu - Any way to make it non-fullscreen?

Hopefully my thread title isn't confusing.
I have seen some theme screenshots and some other screenshots of people's drop-down quick settings/notifications menus on their Find X and it theirs doesn't appear to give that full screen white background with the data usage at the bottom, but instead only has a drop-down quick settings and notifications that only takes up the top portion of the screen like an overlay, with the main screen still visible behind it transparently.
Is that a theme-based mod? A hack or some sort? Or is that something that can be changed in settings?
Here's a screenshot for reference: https://imgur.com/a/ukE5R2b
I know ColorOS has this style of quick settings screen across all devices but I really prefer the normal style of android quick settings where it isn't a full screen with a ton of blank space at the bottom.
Any help with how to enable this please let me know!
Thanks
