Not true at all. haha. Remix has had an EFI version available. Just download the EFI version, use the USB tool to write it to the USB stick of your choice, and follow my guide:

Just installed Remix os on my old laptop and it's running pretty well. Would love to see it can be port to the ASUS zenpad s as well since it's x86. I have the 4gb ram version and I assume it could run smoother then my old laptop.

if have a dell venue 8 pro 3000s series with 32bit efi and i got it to run. u have to manually set up a 32 bit version of grub in windows (put some files in efi partition, set up some config files......) and i used the files the androidx86 installer will provide.
its roughly like this tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/remix/remix-os/guide-install-remixos-pc-hdd-partition-t3320861 but i didnt get any linux distro like ubuntu to boot (because of the 32bit efi) so i had to use windows. And be sure to disable bitlocker on ur windows partition and disable secure boot in the efi settings

Wiping HDD and installing Remix os on it

I have an old netbook that is pretty slow, it would be nice if I can install remix os as the only OS on that laptop. no boot from USB, no dual boot with windows, just push on button and remix os boots up.
For example, when I boot up ubuntu from usb there is the option to wipe hdd and install ubuntu on it. Would be nice if remix os had similar feature.

If your netbook is old (perhaps with 32bit cpu only), you'll have to take into account, that Remix OS will not start because there are problems with the graphics system.
Post "Installing Remix OS to Hard Drive or Virtual Machine without additional tools" describes how to use the built in formatting tool "cfdisk" for deleting old partitions and creating new partitions and setting up Remix OS in the next steps.
If you don't mind using additional tools like "PartedMagic" you'll find a description how to prepare a hdd and how to install Remix OS in Post "Remix OS on Hard Drive or Virtual Machine - Installation and (OTA) Update"

How To Native Install Remix OS (32-bit)?

I am trying to standalone install remix OS on a HP Mini, I know it can be install on a 64 bit UEFI mode, but I want to know how it can be install on a 32 bit legacy mode computer. I want to install it no dual boot.

I screwed up,please help

So i tried to dual boot with remix OS on my PC,i am running windows 7.
the dual boot didn't work, whenever i choose Remix Os it started to boot and then crash.
So i decided to remove Remix Os,in my frustration however i just right-clicked the os file in the partition i created and deleted the whole file not using the unistall feature.
Now when i open my pc it asks me whether or not to run Windows 7 or Remix os.
Does someone know a way to remove that, like make my pc realise that Remix os doesn't exist or choose windows 7 by default?
