How to Change resolution and orientation ? - Remix OS for PC

Hi,
I used the VMDK file of Remix OS for PC to run the OS on a Virtual machine instance.
It looks as if they managed to fix the Opel GL 2.0 issue all Android-x86 suffers from.
I would like to know how to rotate the screen to portrait (phone) mode and / or change the resolution of the OS.
I have tried UVESA_MODE= XXX x YYY and DPI=xxx, DPI is applying but resolution doesn't. I tried a few apps that handles orientation and resolution they have no affect !
N.B
Can anyone port from the remix OS to android-x86 mainstream project the necessary elements to make OpenGL 2.0 work ?
Thanks.

HDMI audio.
Ability to quick access files on Windows hard drive
Broadcom WiFi support. More quick settings in notification panel. Battery stats time remaining.

Seconded. No use having 2 copies of our every documents on Windows and RemixOS...
An easy way to enable root in settings
I only need this for an audio enhancement app but it would be useful for other things

And basically way more driver support, I think we'll have to be patient on that end

Tutorial for installing inside virtualbox or Qemu. Qemu would be better.
Allow installation direct from ISO onto Hypervisors - Qemu, Virtualbox, VMWare, Hyper-V, etc instead of needing to dump onto USB stick.
Support vga for second monitor
Screen recorder
Updating all of their devices to Android Marshmallow!!

Why do you need to dump to USB first? ISO runs fine in VBox.
support for tincore keymapper style overlay apps, or better yet build in a keymapper into remix.

You can't persist data running from the ISO directly.
I want to install it on VMWare workstation !
I know it probably wont happen but xposed for android desktop would be bloody awesome!
How about liveDVD?
Booting from liveDVD, just like Linux distros do it.
I beg you, add this feature.
My BIOS is not detecting any pendrives plugged into USB 3.0 ports, which are needed to boot this OS up.
(It's detected in USB 2.0, but it's too slow, only 4,5MB/s writing speed. The funny thing is that both ports - 2.0 and 3.0 - can be used by Win7 and Linux Mint that I have installed, no problem with that at all. It's just my BIOS that hates me.)
I just want to put a DVD Disc with RemixOS on it and try it out.
This would be a killer feature, since many ppl end up having problems with their pendrives/partitions/usb2.0/usb3.0/bios settings...
My Wishlist!
Most Importantly, the possibility of opening, and (just emphasis, no yelling here  ) MAKING CHANGES TO files in the windows-formatted partitions (R/W mode) , HDMI Audio, Better driver support for both WiFi adapters as well as Graphics Cards (NVIDIA to be precise (like my 610M )), XPOSED, and a custom-recovery-like interface with apt functionalities.
An own web browser, maybe a Chromium fork (which is optimized for the desktop) that has the default setting to load desktop pages (there is no way to set this as default on Chrome), accepts right-clicks and shows a popup, etc.
But so far I haven't been able to even get RemixOS to boot on my Laptop (Nvidia GT-540M), although I have a Remix Mini (2GB) which I use regularly, so driver support is definitely #1 for me.
Is dual monitors supported yet? If not, than dual monitor support

Touch screen calibration

Hello, i am trying to run Remix OS for PC Beta on my Trekstor Wintron 7 tablet.
It is based on an Intel Atom Z3735G with 1 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal disk space.
It comes with Windows 10 Home preinstalled but i think with Remix OS can be faster.
It works quite good out of the box but there are few hardware problems.
First of all the touch screen which is apparently working but it is not calibrated properly.
Keeping the tablet in portrait mode if i touch the upper part of the screen it is ok, but when i touch the lower part the device "clicks" about 3cm above the finger.
Also the capacitive button "Start" seems to work, but when i press it, it clicks in another point on the screen, below the lower limit of the touchable area
Is there any way to calibrate it?
Same problem here with my Trekstor Wintron 7 tablet
Same problem too. Any solution?
I have the Cube I10BW and have the same problem. The X axis is flipped and the space where the touch actually works is a small square in the middle of the screen.
Have this issue also on the surftab wintron 7.0.
Also a big issue is that it can only run the x64 version installed with a 32 bit bootloader (http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/winapp-android-x86-installer-uefi-t3222483)
due to the uefi requirements (no bios) and shortcomings (being only 32-bit). The device obviously lacks ram to handle a 64-bit OS and freezes if any more demanding app is started.
Are there any ways to run the legacy x86 version of remixos on devices with a 32-bit only uefi?
How can the touch screen be calibrated?
same problem but on tablets mediacom w700 that has the same hardware
Mediacom W700
same problem but on tablets mediacom w700 that has the same hardware,
I have tried android-x86 (4.4, 5.1, 6.0) all have the same problem with the touch, DPI and sensors orientation 90° CCW. The resolution of screen is 1024×600 on 7" tablet.
Same problem on Elo touch PC...
same problem w700 winpad
android x86 lineage os 14.2, the calibration app don't work
mtk x or y axis inverted
for mtk tablets who have problems on x or y inverted axis just download firmware then open items.ini with notepad and search inside touchpanel , you will find config for your touch on x and y axis there and need to play with 1 or 0 in front of axis example if tabled in landscape you have x axis inverted need to change the later in front of "0touchpanel.y.reverse" to "1touchpanel.y.reverse" or vs and same on y axis if inverted then save file and flash just items.ini with flashtool. if you cant find in flashtool the option to flash item.ini then open scatter file and search item.ini inside and change from "false" to "true" and save thrn open again sp flash tool and will be there item.ini. after flash reboot tab and all done. just play with those 1 and 0 and every time you make change flash that file and try and if dsnt work make sure change back value and change other axis and flash again.

Changing resolution in VMware

Hey I recently installed RemixOS on my VMware but I struggle to change the resolution to FHD. I tried adding video=LVDS-1:d to the boot command and it wasn't working neither vga=886 or any other number as it would be too small or without a change. So I'm asking how should I do it the proper way ?
