I've got a present from my friends - Moto 360 II, but they are made for China so have no gapps etc.
After many hours on chinese forums I have found some ideas, which included Android Wear(China Edition), Wearaday app... but nothing close to original gaaps.
When you try to connect China version watch to original AW from PlayStore you will get error "Your Watch Not Supported" and you will be transferred to Lenovo Download page.
No root options, nothing.
Today I did this:
1) Factory Reset my Moto 360 II
2) Installed AW 1.4 from PlayMarket
3) Paired my watch and AW and after getting connection code I closed AW, leaving watch to communicate with my rooted(do not think it is important) Sony Tablet Z
4) Watch synced with my tablet, downloaded all gaaps, including Google Maps
5) PlayStore downloaded apps now transferring to my watch.

Weird... So you just stopped half way through the pairing process and then the watch automatically "googlified" itself?! I'd really like to see that... So now you can choose all the languages? It downloaded the whole Google framework?
Main menu is on Chinese.
I can install every program from PlayStore and use international AW app
Tested on two different 360-2 watches from China
Well, if you're happy... I couldn't deal with this nonsense. I am happy with my moto 360 2nd gen from Hong Kong.

I tried the Q on the in the NY store and was sold the moment i put in on. But now that i start to play around with it I'm experiencing some issue's. First and foremost is that I installed a new watch-face (world-timer) to add timezone support and it seems to freeze every now and then after that. How can i troubleshoot watch freezes and how can i uninstall the watch-face ? - i really want this to work.
Remove it from android wear
To uninstall a watch face find it in your phone's apps and select uninstall just like you would for any other app.
The Founder and Tag are the only Intel Wear devices out right now so there are some compatibility issues with certain apps and faces. I'm not sure if this is the case but keep it in mind.
Are you using the 1st Gen FossilQ Founder? (None swappable wrist bands)
What build number are you on? (Settings -> About -> Build number)
I believe the latest is M1D65G with Android wear 1.5.0.3686357 with Android version being 6.0.1.
If you're not on the latest then updating should help with the lag issues as when I first got this watch it lagged a lot but after many updates it has gotten better!
Hopefully we get Android Wear 2.0 as now the new Fossil watches have snapdragon processors and this version has the Intel Atom chip.

So, I am having a big, big problem. I flashed too many ROMS until now, but on all of them I have same problem: the battery drains too quickly and that is because of Bluetooth which is all the time switched on and so, the android wear app which is listening.
And I need this. Because that's why I bought the watch.
I want to have 1 day of battery for watch and for phone. That's all. And with bluetooth and data enabled for the whole day...
I want to get rid of Android WEAR. And to have other apps that send the notifications to the watch.
Can I have this? Or I'm stuck with Wear?

It is NOT possible. You have to use Android Wear App so that it sends the notifications and other data to your watch.
THere is still a hope from the microG project... but there is a long way until then... (https://microg.org/)

AFAIK you can consider the watch as another device,
Notification will send directly to the watch via WiFi or Bluetooth
But most importantly, it still need your phone if there isn't WiFi and the phone will keep awake
You better buy LG watch as it has LTE support if you really concern about the battery…

I have a Fossil Q Founder 2.0 since yesterday, running Android Wear 2.0. Basically, I am quite happy. But I am a fan of the Google news feed on my Nexus 5x (running Android 8.0 "Oreo"), ans as far as I know, the watch should display some (or even all) of the content, e.g. weather, traffic and upcoming appointments. But the Google app in the watch ("My Feed") only gives me a single tile that reports the current weather - that's it.
I did a Google search to find a solution and followed the most common steps to resolve issues:
I tried to reset the watch to factory settings. I re-installed the Google app on the watch and deleted its data and cache.
I even deleted the cache of the Google Play Services and of the Google app on my phone, and I re-installed the Android Wear app on the phone.
I tried to use the stable as well as the "beta" Google app on the phone.
All software is up-to-date both on my phone as well as on the watch.
Nothing helps - I still get only the weather tile. Maybe it is related to Oreo on my phone?
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I had rom 1.3.0 in the original, but I gave the pacefield 1.2.35. Firstly, I could not bluetooth via the last update in September, so I apk rejected from the mail and disconnected from my watch. I did not know anywhere Qr code for paring, so I gave factory reset via watch. Now I can tell you how to do it with the app and it is still just the code that shows the watch. The watch menu can not be reached. With Tablet android could not be also cracked written download Chinese version 1.7.1. So I downloaded amazfit 1.7.1 and everything was ok. Then I put them off (disconnected) from the tablet and wanted to connect with iphone and nothing again the same.

I have the same problem.
With 1.2.45 pacified I can't sync the phone with any iOS device (iPad air, iPhone 5 nor iPhone 7+).
But I can sync with the same watch with a Xiaomi mi4c phone.
I tried to restore the watch a couple of times but still can't sync in iOS.
I'm using a "Chinese Mi" account (I donwloaded the Amazfit Watch app and Mifit app and changed region to china before login).
The error I'm getting all the time is "Syncing failed(H02)" in the Amazfit Watch app version 1.7.6 for iOS.
Also I tried to sync over wifi. Didn't worked neither
It was a problem with 1.2.45 pacified. I used 1.2.44 and everything was working. Now with new version (1.2.48) everything works again. In fact when you take a look at firmware changelog this problem was corrected with chinese 1.2.47 (not released as pacefied)
I have unboxed new one Amazfit pace. I can not pair it to Iphone 6 with amazfit app downloaded from us region. how can I see current rom version and finally pair watch with Iphone?
Which SmartWatch does the Find N pair easily with?
It doesn't seem to work with the Samsung Galaxy watch. and are all notifications displayed on the watch?

i use ticwatch c2.. it works.. but its kinda janky to get it working.. and google fit doesnt sync with the phone..

I just ditched my ticwatch c2 for a pair of Samsuck Watch 4 classic.. I'll outline what worked for me as a repository for watch 4 (I dunno if it will work with watch 5)..
1. Install Chinese version of wear os.. 2.6.2 is the latest version if I'm not wrong.. it's ok to install older 2.5.5 version from apkmirror.
2. Give wear os auto launch permissions, background running permissions and nearby devices permission.
3. Install older version of Samsuck wearable app (I used 2.2.54.22112861, Dec 2022).. install older version of Samsuck watch4 manager plugin (I used 2.2.11.22012751).. u might wanna try earlier versions of watch5 plugin not from the app store to test what works..
4. U can take this chance to give some auto run permission to wearable n plugin app..
5. Install Samsung Health..
6. Open Samsung health app, do whatever necessary setup to get to main screen..
7. Select 3 dot menu > settings > accessories.. power on ur watch..
8. Click scan for accessory at the bottom of the page n wait for the watch name to pop up.. clicking on it will start pairing process..
9. Once paired, wearable app will open up and start irritating u with all the terms n conditions plus approval to spy on u.. select what is necessary to get through..
10. Wearable will download 2.6.2 wear os (china) and install.. it's a prerequisite, or else it will not finish pairing.. wear os seems to be needed for communication with watch..
11. After wear os is updated, u will see a page with Google's TOS.. uncheck the diagnostics and location and click next.. I never manage to proceed further if I left either diag or location enabled, so just switch both off..
12. Sit and wait for the setup to complete.. once completed, u can go to play store and update the watch plugin to the latest version..
