Did anyone else get a OTA update today? I had my H5x in the box setting beside me on my table, I heard it vibrate a couple times, but I didn't look at it as I thought it was just Facebook notifications or something. I finally pulled it out to check it and it was doing a EMUI update....I looked at the build number and its still ends in b130, the security patch still shows a Dec. 2015 date on it.
The phone at least appears to be a little smother with seemingly less lag....anyone else get this, or was it just something random my phone did?

I dint get any update ! And there is no official or unofficial news regarding updates . i tried contacting huawei customercare and they forwarded me this thing

I'm a T-Mobile RSA and jsut wanted to let everyone know about the up coming HTC Radar update. I own the phone and use the forums a lot so i justed wanted to gve the heads up. T-Mobile is saying the update is over Zune and will be there on Feb 15th. Some of the changes T-Mobile highlighted were.

Now i am not sure if these updates are the only ones but its what T-Mobile is saying is there. The new version number should be 7.10.8107.79.

Funny thing is I already have that OS version (7.10.8107.79) on my phone now which I updated manually with the cab sender and so on. But Zune is still saying there's an update available for me. I'll report later on tonight after I run it.
I just updated mine on my MacBook Pro using the Windows Phone 7 Connector. I updated, and it now says my phone is up to date, but it says: Current Version: 07.10.07740.03
UPDATE: Just updated again, and now current version is Current Version: 07.10.08107.03. Not Update 7.10.8107.79 yet... I'm off by .00.00.00000.76 points! I need a higher score.
UPDATE: Updated again, and the Mac software says, Current Version: 07.10.08107.03, but my phone now says OS Version: 7.10.8107.79, so I guess I'm up to date.

All in all there were 3 updates for me - first two appeared to be OS updates, the 3rd appeared to be a firmware update from HTC.
Following my recent technical issues that were caused after updating my ZF3U to Android 7.0, I contacted ASUS and was told that "we have checked this for you and sent this info through for analysis. The Android N update has been stopped for OTA updates. So we would advise to downgrade the unit back to Android M for now. And do a factory reset for the unit".
This advice did not work and eventually my problems got worse (see other threads I posted about my problems). Few days a go my ZF3U completely died on me. Prior to this fingerprint recognition did not work, serial number was misreported in settings, no sound in calls was present even after downgrade to Android M. ASUS should not have released the Android 7.0 firmware in the first place pending proper testing on the ZF3U.
Eventually, I sent the phone to repair (through my insurance as ASUS insisted I had to send the device to Taiwan as it originated from there for the Asia market -POOR Service for an international company) and was advised that my ZF3U was beyond economical repair so a replacement was needed. I have now ordered another one as this phone is the only phone available that caters for my needs. I am really annoyed with ASUS, their service and the really poor software update they first rolled via OTA and then through their servers and then withdrew without any advice to those of us who have already installed it on our precious devices. They should never have released an incomplete, faulty firmware update. I hope those of you who have either downloaded the OTA or used the manual file do not experience the issues I had but if you do then good luck to you unless you have insurance.
Lets hope they learn to fix their phones properly with good after-sales support and I am still waiting for compensation from them following my recent complaint.

Why did Asus pull the update ? What's the official reason ? Is it a widespread problem ? Or just corner cases ?

Not sure why it was pulled. I got the manual update second hand from a user on this site as it was already pulled from ASUS before I could get it. I knew the risk and updated anyways. No issues at all. Phone works perfectly, maybe even better. My bootloader was unlocked and rooted just like AWFRONT was. Not sure why I didn't get the same issues they did, but I am 100% issue free on the 7.0 update.

this explains why my ultra didn't get the update yet.. probably it was rolled out to some devices, and encountered intermittent issue like above and rolled back..
Just got a call from a Huawei rep.
In regards to the update he says it will be out in the next few weeks.
Says it will be released in batches (regions?)
Told me to check the system updater and to reboot every few days and to try different wifi points.
Just a heads up....

Maybe this is why it's released in "batches" that and region as well.
The fact they called says a lot.
Next few weeks can become next few months... no trust on HONOR

It happened again, here I was, late at work just because my phone did not ring.
I miss appointments regularly because of this, and now I am late at work.
I have called Huawei and they said that I need a patch that is included in the new OTA update.
This was over a month ago, and still no f*****ing update.
How come this is happening, what are the engineers doing with our software, this is just not good enough.
Any help welcome.
Since the old official ota updates thread is deleted and was very useful, i thought that creating a new one is a good idea, post here whenever you receive an official OTA update.

Already did factory reset a couple of times, it's due to the update itself. It never happened on Emui 8 or any other versions. The issue happens when the phone it's locked and you want to unlock it: fingerprint won't work, even though you try it for several times, it just won't wake the phone. After a few button presses then the phone wakes up, eventually the fingerprint will work too but after the unlock the system.ui is killed and restarted. Quite frustrating. It happens randomly, could be once in a few days or multiple times a day, depends on how lucky you are. I'm not the only one having this, other people mentioned it too on other forums. Kinda sad that huawei made it this way. I guess this will be my last.
I have a different issue with EMUI 9 - battery life. I was getting 5 hours of screen on time on Oreo, I didn't go past 4 hours since the update.
Local Huawei consultant says B263 is going to be the last update for P10. I still didn't get 262...

.262 is available on firmware finder and approved for installation on VTR-L09C432.

Hi guys, I need some help with the system updates, I've bought a used P10 VTR-L09 and it's still stuck on Android 8.0.0, I am not receiving any OTA updates.

Does anybody know anything about these releases? I think the marked one should arrive for standard devices VTR-L29/L09 but there is no sign of approval in firmware finder yet. It's been a really long time since the last software update. Mine is on July 2019 patch.

I see updates on firmware finder that are aproved but never released on OTA. For example 9.1.0.270 that is supposed to bring march 2020 update.
The latest OTA i got is from july 2019 and it's very dissapointing from Huawei. P10 is still a phone capable of running even android 10. It's a shame that they don't support devices at all and really makes me switch and never come back to them or android in general because of the lack of support from manufacturers.

I'm not getting the 9.1.0.297 update with may 2021 security update for some reason. I tried to clear update apps's data as suggested by Huawei support, but it still does not come up. I wonder if some variants of P10 are excluded, or if the update will come later for certain variants, mine is the dual-sim vtr -l29.
