Different versions of Android Wear - Asus ZenWatch 2

I recently noticed that my Zenwatch 2 has one version of Android wear (1.3.0.2442001) and my Nexus 6 has a different version of Android Wear (1.4). Anyone else have this issue? Is this a problem? Is there a fix?

No problem. One is firmware, the other an app.

Thank you!!

Wearables?

Anybody successfully using a wearable device with the AM2?
I'd love to get the Sony SmartWatch 3 because you can use it as a gps/run tracker and music player without needing the phone nearby. However, I don't think it's compatible with the AM2.

Wearables work fine. I have the lg g watch. But because the phone isn't getting updated anymore with Google's 18 month rule the Android wear app won't get updates after April 2015 so I'm guessing it would still work but you wouldn't get the features from newer Android wear releases.

O dont. Think app updates and os updates are cut with the same knife..
I think that as long it's Bt 4.0. And android 4.3 + can be compatible ..
More like I hope hahah

Just got ham2. Only problem I have with the g watch is music controls don't work. Guessing its a jelly bean thing. Got an app for the watch that works.
Using and loving my pebble watch in conjunction with my HAM2. Two beasts when it comes to battery life. The pebble has enhanced my experience with this phone.

Swift 2 X

Hi everyone,
I have the swift 2 X i have noticed no place for my device only swift 2? Do they both both use same ROMs ect
Thank you
7.1.2
Possibly not of interest to anyone else going by the lack of threads on the device but my Swift 2 X just updated to android 7.1.2 build TOS163B-N2G47H
Just checked on my swift 2x, no update showing as yet. Any differences so far other than a security update?
The only thing I've found is that the do not disturb automatic rules now work.

I have a SGP 771 in the U.S., came from overseas - Upgrade help

Hey guys!
I used to be pretty involved with XDA as I own Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Nexus 9 and Pixel XL. I work for an electronics distributor and we have sold Sony tablets for years. This tablet came from e-bay or Amazon before we could order through the Sony channel. It came with a Bluetooth keyboard with Korean? symbols on it.
That's the background:
So the tablet is currently running 5.02 and checking for software updates gives me nothing.
Build number: 28.0.A.8.251
Kernel has a date of Aug. 19, 2015
My question is whether this is a special build and why I can't seem to update it. Not that familiar with Sony's software for updates but when checking this build it seemed to show as a demo version and didn't have anything for a more recent update file.
Can anyone give me any background? I'm not necessarily looking to root it, I just want to update it to the current software (Android M?).
Thanks for any help or tips!
Maybe the bootloader is unlocked. Check the service menu.
With unlocked bootloader there are no OTA updates any more.
You can flash any suitable ROM with Flashtool. This software comes with XperiFirm to download the ROMs.
If it is really a demo unit (they run different ROM-versions though) I would return the tablet.

I've run into the same problem. Moreover, I have found that when I type in my tablet's IMEI at http://support.sonymobile.com/gb/software/ the page responds with 'No information available'
Seems to be a problem at Sony.
Please, contact the Sony Mobile support so that they can fix it. The more requests they receive, the faster they will fix it

Android Auto Compatibility with Honor 9

Hi, I'm looking this smartphone (Honor 9) but i don't know if it's compatible with Android Auto.
Now I am using a BQ M5 because it works perfect with Android Auto.
I have a Seat Ibiza 16'
Thanks.
I have an Golf 7 2018. Should be a similar system since they are both Volkswagen. I will give it a try at the weekend and will provide you with feedback.
Ok, thank you very much!
Android Car is working fine for me. However not if rooted or using a custom ROM.
