This one works perfectly for me and i have no problem with titanium backup, you just have to make sure that you have r/w permissions for external sd. http://forum.xda-developers.com/sam...recovery-samsung-sm-a800i-exynos5433-t3312809

This got nothing to do with twrp 3.0.2. Did you swipe to allow modifications as on the screenshot or did you choose read-only?
else dont forget to mount system, data, ect and uncheck read-only that's all.

For what reason do you need to deodex the stock firmware? It's not required.
Modding.. LOL.. rooting is useless without modding.. normal setting thru xml & adv thru apk.

You don't need a deodex rom for modding.
Just to share some info.
You can now install manually via Odin new 6.0.1 Marshmallow stock rom on sm-a800i.
Go to sammobile.com and choose to download Vietnam XXV version, released today.
Good luck.

Are there many devs willing to work on an exynos device? Also, you should probably update the thread to say that the a800i cyanogenmod doesn't boot.

Common 2.2.zip ( has gapps among others, including multi dpi play store, don't flash another one)

did you flash another gapps. If so, read post 2. if not, did you wipe data and format /system. no such issues on my S3 NA version, i don't own the i9300, but buster tested it.

evem applying GPS fix, navigation app doesnt work
If you get freezing when pulling down the notification shade or freeze when doing things in general you can flash the old hwcomposer(the videofix file from cm10 which is also located in temaseks thread) which will fix it, but disable vsync.
Seperate question of my own: Is there a way to disable the hw keys (home, back, menu) without going into the system files? There is an option to change the actions in other roms but I was wondering if the option existed in the settings somewhere. I can disable it on my own through other methods but it would be nice to have the ui handle it.

Sorry.....t9 madre mistakes.....
It is what i did.......wipe data, format system, flash i9300, flash common 2.2 than reboot....but i have some freeze. Try wipe cache and dalvik.....nothing.
I used slim ROM on my gs1 and gs3......i know that ROM is fast and stable.....
I'LL try install it again......

I believe PhilZ recovery has an option to convert backups to a flashable zip (it supports both CWM and TWRP). I could be wrong though.

It failed again, and it looks like clockworkmod didn't copy it to the internal storage. I will try to get the recovery log again later, when I have more time
Edit: TWRP seems to be finding a recovery.log in /tmp. I will try and see if it was generated by TWRP or CWM.

Try Cygwin, it makes the flashable zips for you. It really made the whole process easy for me when I used to make ROMs

Search around a bit by yourself, there are tons of tuturials out on how to do that...
- flash TWRP with odin
- flash rom with TWRP
follow the install guide correctly make shure you use the right recovery and you are good to go

I dont own L version, but as far as i know it should work on L version aswell!!

Prerequisites:
Already running a Marshmallow based ROM
Bootloader Unlocked and TWRP installed (help!)
Instructions (follow completely!):
Download all files linked above and copy to internal storage
Boot into TWRP and go to Wipe then Swipe to factory reset
Flash ROM (OnePlus2Hydrogen_14_OTA_0XX_all_DXAXTEXXXX.zip)
Flash Debloater+SuperSU (removes included Chinese bloatware) (H2OS_MM_DBLOATR+SuperSU.zip)
Flash G-Apps and then everything else you requre (like Xposed)
Reboot into System, TWRP will ask to Disable stock recovery flash, swipe it!
Done!

"half was chinesisch" hahaha, no i guess its english or chinese. Use morelocale to change the language for your apps and more.

I restored without any problem.. What I would suggest you is install all your apps from playstore.. And then try to restore data only.. May be it could help..
i installed the new version but OPT say i dont have root and i dont find a option to activate it in settings again same as CM12.1
Any changlog?

I couldn't open or edit/configure any google acount.... No contacts, no play store...flashed openGapps as OP suggests...any hints?

1 will it work on updated firmware i have -J500FXXU1APE1
2 if the upper one doesnt work will this work its the lowest-J500FXXU1AOK2

1 /2. I received feedback that this mod worked on any baseband and csc.
3. TWRP is not fixed to work on android 6.

These are not issues. I removed these for debloating. I assumed that theme engine is useless. And also sim card manager ( why to change sim icon and sim name?).
To s.w.i.t.c.h. mobile data sim card go to network and set 4G/WCDMA... to the specified simcard. It will ask you to change the sim for the data, and press yes.
To remove it , restore from backup (if you have anyone) or flash stock rom.

I haven't tried on android 6 but I think that even if this zip will debloat android 6, you can't flash it because TWRP (custom recovery) it is not working on that android version.

I went to nick's twrp thread and check the date of latest build which is 11.06.2016 . Are you sure is fixed for android 6?
