So far so good, xposed is included arter97, very lively and can install adblockers and uninstall bloatware. No reboots but it's been only 24 hours, worth the go.

Did not flash odin file and worked fine without it.

First of all, you need a SuperSu in order to use FlashFire. Next step, installation Instructions:

Got a question. With jasmine ROM is kernel tweaking available? Guessing the locked BL would prevent this.

why couldn't you use snapchat with Jasmine? Thinking of installing jasmine, but not if there is an issue with that app.

Install Jasmine, go here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60857320&postcount=1 flash the uninstaller, install and login to Snapchat, then flash the appropriate arter97 for your chipset, and you're all set.

i've bricked a few times before... but i really want snapchat... there is only one uninstall... but which one should I use for the note 3 for verizon. In the jasmine rom I'm using now xposed installer says Im on framework version 71 custom by arter97. (thinking v71 snapdragon)

Snapchat does a security check for xposed framework upon sign in(and only at sign in).
if you want snapchat to work, you will need to sign into the app before installing the xposed framework. and if you ever log out of snapchat, you will need to uninstall xposed framework, sign in, and reinstall.
its not really an issue its a security measure taken by the devs of snapchat to further secure their app. it only checks for xposed since there is a module that exploits a few features on snapchat. however its security check only runs when you sign in. so once you're signed- in your in the clear. Just dont sign out or its a pain waiting for xposed to uninstall and reinstall. Hope that helps!
(only install xposed on Jasmine roms that support it, installing Xposed on a Stock rooted lollipop rom will cause bootloop)

xposed framework lollipop--modules

anyone willing to build up this post on what modules do work on the g3 without putting the phone into a boot loop? yesterday i got xposed alpha 3 installed and had the g3 tweakbox. tried to install a couple other modules that i had on my nexus 4 (kitkat) and that put my device in a boot loop.
here are the list i got:
gmail app attachment size
playstore changelog
wa/wa+ theme
xgpm
xinstaller
youtube background playback
on the nexus, when i installed xposed framework, i got a file that i could flash from twrp in case phone got into a boot loop (it disables the modules or the whole framework i think) but didn't get that on lollipop. anyone knows of a way to get rid of a boot loop other than a factory reset? (had to do that yesterday so asking for future reference).
is it a trial and error to find out if a module will boot loop the phone on lollipop? or is there some other method?

Yes in twrp you can go into file manager and under apps delete the xposed app that is causing the bootloop wipe the caches and you should be good
Working Lollipop modules:
For the sake of good camera, I'm using stock based CloudyRom. So the results are for stock based ROMS. Will be updating the post after future tests
Working:
Obviously G3 Tweakbox
GravityBox (I have it for the volume button cursor control)
AppSettings (Surpisingly it works great. Just dong go below 540 for stock LG apps)
ChromePie
Greenify

Not for now... To install Xposed Framework you have to delete/freeze Quickcircle... But, in beggining weather apk was also necessary to freeze... Not anymore. There are some mods to use xposed and weather. Probably, some day, circle case will also be available with xposed

Can you elaborate on that? Earlier i got into a bootloop and had to factory reset phone and i lost the backup xposed made for weather and the clock thingie. A guy sent me the apks that the app created for him. Weather and clock, etc. You think it would be safe to just install the weather ones from within the phone(not flash from recovery) and make them system apps to have it working again? If not, can you advise please? Thanks

[TUTO] xposed on ODEX rom; yes it's possible now! (and with knox 0x0 too!)

You don't need to do the complicated process of deodexing your ROM yourself or installing a deodexed Android 5.0 Touchwiz ROM any more prior to installing xposed on our A-series now!
I am however not responsible if you brick your phone; please know the risks of continuing.
Note: this is for Samsung 5.0 Touchwiz only as based on arter97's thread [UNOFFICIAL] Xposed for Samsung Lollipop by arter97!
For 5.1 & 6 please go to Wanam's thread [UNOFFICIAL][5.1.1/6]Xposed for Samsung Lollipop/Marshmallow.
For non Samsung Touchwiz, go to rovo89's thread [OFFICIAL] Xposed for Lollipop/Marshmallow [Android 5.0/5.1/6.0].
For older versions I have no clue, please search the xposed general section.
Warning, this installation needs like 500MB on your system partition to do the conversion (below installation overwrites the system Odex files etc).
Debloat your system partition if necessary! This is really important, otherwise you'll end up in a boot loop!
You can do this with for example GS4 Lollipop Debloat which also works on our devices and SD Maid (thanks to Twiq for this tip in his post)
Debloating is now optional thanks to dkcldark, but it still doesn't harm to clear up some space and get rid of some apps you don't need.
As always, backup everything first, and you might want to have your original ROM zip ready to flash with Odin just in case of.
There is 2 possibilities to get it, one if you don't mind knox counter going up and another one if you want it to stay at 0x0.
Option 1:
knox 0x1, warranty void
This is the easiest one.
Root your device if you haven't done already. Kingroot works great!
If you haven't installed a custom recovery, do so; search the General section of our devices forum to search the TWRP that fits your particular device. Note: I've read that TWRP 3 might cause some issues, so might be better to have version 2. This was at the time of writing; issues might be solved by the time you read this.
Install the xposed installer from this thread. I used XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha4.apk.
Flash xposed bridge from this post through your custom recovery (make sure you have enough space on your system partition, see above). At the moment of writing it was xposed-v79-samsung-test.zip dkcldark's update to v85; download his .zip file from his post here to your phone. This one isn't yet mentioned in the OP as it's a test version.
Clean cache & dalvik.
Reboot. First reboot may take a while.
But after that, xposed is installed!
If everything worked, please report back to arter97's post with a screenshot of Xposed Installer -> Framework with your model number and firmware version as described in his post. And while you're there, buy him a beer! This will benefit future development.
Option 2:
knox 0x0, warranty ok
This one is a bit more complicated as it won't use a custom recovery (which triggers knox).
Root your device if you haven't done already. Kingroot works great!
But Kingroot can't work together with an app we need below, FlashFire, so we need to transform it to SuperSU. Install Super-Sume Pro from Play Store.
Follow on screen instructions of Super-Sume Pro to get SuperSU working.
Mr.W0lf has an alternative option to replace Kingroot by SuperSU through Terminal Emulator here and here (I haven't tested this myself though, so read the complete thread and do research!).
Install the xposed installer from this thread. I used XposedInstaller_3.0-alpha4.apk.
Install FlashFire from Play Store
As FlashFire has some issues with setting permissions of the odex files from the test version of arter97 right, MatrixDJ96 has created a zip which sets the permissions right in this post. Download this xposed-v79-samsung-test-matrixdj96.zip on your phone. dkcldark created an update to v85 with MatrixDJ96's FlashFire fix included; download his .zip file from his post here to your phone.
Open FlashFire, click on the "+"sign, select Flash ZIP or OTA and select the zip file you just downloaded. Continue in next screen; click the "+"sign again and select Wipe. Only select Dalvik cache and Cache partition here and continue.
Go to the bottom of the screen and click on the big Flash button (make sure you have enough space on your system partition, see above).
FlashFire will reboot the phone and start doing it's magic; this might take a while, and first boot too.
But after that, xposed is installed! And you still have your waranty on your phone!
If everything worked, please report back to arter97's post with a screenshot of Xposed Installer -> Framework with your model number and firmware version as described in his post. And while you're there, buy him a beer! This will benefit future development.

Just a suggestion tho, there will be some people who haven't upgraded to lollipop, and maybe (unlikely now, but maybe) some already upgraded to 5.1.x/above. They will ask you whether these steps could be used on their setup or not, i think you should anticipate that too

AFAIK you wont trip knox as long as you don't change your recovery or kernel..
How can one know exactly how much free space there's on system partition to check if I need to debloat or not?

Yes indeed, but I think that method also trips knox so you could also install a custom recovery and go with option 1.
I prefer not to trip it and keep my warranty, thus option 2 with kingroot, but that's my personal preference.

You don't have to unistall the xposed framework, you can solve this by going into /system using a file manager and you must search for "xposed". You'll see many files and archives, so what you have to do is to rename all of them with a " . " before the name of the file. This will hide the files. When done, you can login your snapchat. Don't forget to remove the dots when you have finished or you won't be able to use xposed
this what worked for me good luck!

I tried rootcloak to hide root from snapchat.....but can't hide xposed from it
Atleast this is what I think
No one is able to resolve the issue

If you uninstall Xposed, will Snapchat work again?
Sent from my Galaxy Tab 3 using XDA Labs
Yup....this is what people said....after they unrooted their phone and uninstalled xposed and super user, snapchat worked fine
Uninstall Xposed: Login to SnapChat: reinstall Xposed: profit.
That's how I did it when I was on cm13, anyway.
Worked fine.
the solution work if you have two phones
1st your phone
2nd other phone that is rooted without xposed installed
install snapchat on the 2nd phone and login then backup with titanium backup then send the backup to the main phone and restore the backup with titanium backup and uninstall snapchat on the other phone it will work if you own a second rooted phone

Yeah, found out the hard way my previous solution no longer works. Had to unroot also.

XPosed

For those interested we can now run XPosed on XZ1
Me myself I have FW 47.1.A.12.34
Install the DRMFix according to post 53 in the [oreo]XZ1-drmfix-root-ricoff. This gives me recovery, root and DRMFix.
Then I downloaded and flashed installed XPosed and the installer from the [OFFICIAL] Xposed for Lollipop/Marshmallow/Nougat/Oreo thread
SDK for OREO 8.0 (which is the version in FW 47.1.A.12.34) is SDK26 and the architecture is Arm64.
I Flashed the XPosed zip, booted phone and installed the XposedInstaller apk. The app then told me the framework was installed but not loaded, so I istalled it once more from the app (direct install, not using recovery). After reboot did everything work as a charm
I used to use Xposed but I can't think of any modules that are worth bothering with the install these days. Can you recommend anything worthwhile bro?

I actually only use a package for greenify and a "Eventlock" module to get my calendar data on the lockscreen
Yeah, that's the problem for me. Xposed used to be about to do so much that Android couldn't but the OS has come so far now that I don't feel the need for it anymore.

Yeeea.....bur I just had to check it out when I saw there is a beta version of Xposed for Oreo.
Just because I'm curious
I know, I feel the same way but just didn't see the benefit of it at the time. I used to love Xposed. I actually forgoe certain upgrades because I would lose Xposed in the past. Those days are gone now though.
For all who are intrested:
Gravity Box for Oreo is now released!
I think the best XPosed Modul on the Repository!

I tried to install Beta 2 to my G8341 and the phone booted (.179 firmware)
I tried to install simple modules like "Statusbar Download Progress" and it is activated.
but installing gravitybox caused bootloop

Yes, very good news. How did you solve bootloop? Did you flash a unistall zip from twrp?
