Hands Free
Were you born without any hands? Yeah same here. It sucks but we are fighters and we can do anything just the same as anyone else. We just have or own little twist to it. I was at the grocery store, tossing some snacks into my cart with my feet, when it was time to checkout. I like to pay with my phone using Android Pay but it can be difficult to pull my phone out of my pocket. Luckily I no longer have to! With a new app called Hands Free by Google, I can just tell the cashier "I'd like to pay with google". They'll be able to pull your Android pay information from your phone wirelessly and you don't have to do a thing.
As of right now, this is only available in select stores in California. So chances are you're not going to be able to use this feature right away. However It's worth sharing here because it's a great idea and I'd love to see how this grows and is adapted by the market.
Hands Free allows you to make in-store payments without ever reaching for your phone or wallet.
•  No digging around for cash, credit cards, or loose change
•  Just say “I’ll pay with Google” at checkout
•  Your identity is confirmed and the charge is processed securely
•  Purchase details are sent right to your phone

Google Play Help Needed

Hi all fellow xda member here who already has a Google Developer account, right now I'm switching to app developing but I'm still young to have credit card, would anyone here who has the account can help publish it for me? hope anyone can help me... cheer!
Cambodia, right? Does your country offer the chance to purchase VISA gift cards and the like? It works with the Play Store, trust me.
I strongly recommend you use a family member's card if you can't have one, and against the fact that another person is publishing. Having another person manage your apps is incredibly risky. What if they go rogue and make an unseen profit of your program? What if they inject something malicious and destroy your name?
You're a valued member here in the Legend forums, a friend to us all. I'd hate to see your reputation destroyed; and what dreams and aspiration you had, shattered.
Please think over the consequences and impact this may have on your development.
Though I'd hate to be a **** posting this, if you REALLY want to go through with this, try posting in the xda-developers General boards. You'd find much more publicity there.
EDIT: Fun idea, if you personally write to Google something well-thought and heartwarming, they could grant you that status given your circumstances. If all else fails, try it
The thing is I don't want to use family's money cos they wouldn't understand about this stuff and I post here cos I trust people here than over the General forum, is there any other way? I guess I'll just have to save money but it will takes time...
I'm developing an all in one app and a market for my country

After the Sony XPERIA Play deal with the Android Market (as it was then called) and the devs with emulators and all that being removed, I found out about SlideME.

Mod Edit: Links removed
I see price 0.99. Why do you say free for 5 days, when it's not free.
"Free for 5 days" still isn't actually within the forum rules. Post a link for us to get it for free or delete your spammy advertising. You don't get to use XDA to advertise paid stuff unless you're paying them for ad space or you're providing actual value (i.e. a copy of the app) to XDA members.
Sorry but thread closed. You may link to a paid app but only in the same post where you are providing a free version for xda members.

I strongly suggest to create a free trial with reduced features. Otherwise, no one will buy it. The times of buying a pig in a poke have been over for years now, especially since the never-paying customers flooded the smartphone market.

Did you know you can actually do it in the same app? https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/li...02(v=vs.105).aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
That way, it's easier for the user, as they can select on the paid app's page whether they want to buy it or try first. Example: https://www.windowsphone.com/s?appId=83c7cc97-5a13-4570-9a00-33546f8d25c1

I love shopping online when I'm bored. Last month I spent $321,000 on Amazon and got in big trouble with my wife. I needed to find an alternative where I could save some money while continuing to indulge in my shopping addiction.
Jet is an app where you can save money on pretty much anything. They sell basically everything that you could find on the major online stores.

SAVE EVEN MORE AT CHECKOUT
*Waive returns on items you plan to keep or pay with a debit card for extra savings.
*Checkout is even easier with Android Pay.
EASY RE-ORDER
*Click the re-order button on the homepage to go straight to your order history and stock up on essentials.
FREE SHIPPING & RETURNS
*Get free 2-5 day shipping on every order over $35, with faster 2-day shipping on the basics, and free returns within 30 days.

*The Jet Heads, our Salt Lake City-based customer care team, are always here to help no matter which one of our trusted retailers fulfills your order. Contact us with any questions, or even just to say hi.
If you do a lot of online shopping then you'll probably enjoy this app quite a bit. Check it out on the Play store!

" I spent $321,000 on Amazon and got in big trouble with my wife." WTF how is that possible. Did you by that 55 gallon lube once every few minutes?

A public congratulation to myself: S6 bought yesterday; screen shattered today

I guess what I'm trying to say to myself is, "Way to fcuking go, dude! You saw right through history and knew that this little S6 honey was gonna get the shock treatment sooner or later, so why wait, right?"
And bonus points to me for having managed to do so in a year-end review winning style, no doubt in the ever popular, "Whaaa? Is that dude fcuking retarded?" category. Pros: duuuuude, you instantly made retarded look like "advanced clever."
Cons: you did so in a comically regressive mannner. While collecting local geo-data and sensing near-surface disturbances just below your public viewing area, you somehow were able to determine, unlike anyone post=hoc could, that ejecting the shiny new Samsung S6 past the mat and onto the nearby cement floor would be best for it, especially if done so screen down, as though continuing to rest upon your lap during a period of increased disturbances would be a big mistake though it had done so until then quite comfortably, much like a convenience store burrito an hour earlier was a big mistake that had rested in place quite comfortably until then.
Or as I believe I heard you prase yourself in a summary of events just after The Great Ejection, "Whaaa? Dude! Arrrrrrghhhhh! Are you fcuking retarded???"

Did you purchase with a credit card offering extended or no-fault warranty? If so, you might be in luck.
Can you retroactively purchase a service plan, and then make a claim say a week from now? If so, then you should be in good shape.
You have options -- investigate. I've availed myself of both these examples in the past.
