Coming from a LG G3. Can I get Nexus 6P home screen to look like this? - Nexus 6P General

This is my current home screen on my G3. I use the Blisspop ROM which has a bunch of tweaks letting me change my nav bar buttons and colors and press actions along with my status bar icon colors. Is this achievable on Nexus 6p? I've heard about Gravity box but can't find any videos showing if these tweaks are available. I bought the S7 edge and hate it and with a locked boot loader...sending it back.

Xposed modules will be your call here. Search for them over Google. Gravity box is great, you can try it. You can't know until you try. The navigation bar buttons could be achieved the same way.
You can view the Gravity Box XDA thread, for more information.
EDIT: I can see on the thread itself, that status bar icon coloring is present.

Thank you for replying. Was going through the post your home screen topic in the theme thread and didn't see any with colored navigation bar buttons which is disappointing.

[Q] Real time Bandwidth - Status bar

I was looking for an app that shows the realtime internet bandwidth Upload/Download in the status bar. Does anybody know if there are any apps out there?
Unfortunately, I have seen this only in iphone, I have attached a screenshot that shows what I'm looking for.
DU meter
Check DU Meter - it is available at the Android market (I cannot post links)
Network meter.

Couldn't try it because I can't purchase in my region. But I still have to pull down the notification to see the status, which can't be the case while using some apps. Thank anyway

Thanks. That's useful for me also.
From this thread I got an idea: It would be great to have a stylish widget that shows your down/up traffic. There are dozens of clock/weather/news widgets but if there is one for bandwidth just let me know.
or you could try this app http://goo.gl/3Pbzq
Network Speed you need to scroll down the notifications though

dude u can use this
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nqmobile.antivirus20&hl=en
it has got floating bandwidth status bar u can put anywhere on the screen
Thanks guys, you've been soooo helpful
I have tried all, Network meter proves to be the most relevant to what i was looking for .. yet, it's missing basic stuff like multiple options for traffic measure units (Mbits/Kbits/ .. etc) and then the floating bar to be available in the status bar.
Network Monitor Mini.
Light, accurate and free. Keeps the upload and download status on your screen, not the notification bar, so it works in full screen games and apps.

If you have root access to your device then you can use Xposed Mod http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
this will give your device various mods lie network meter in statusbar, transparent statusbar and navigation bar and many more..
Old thread but ...
I have been using network monitor mini pro for a long time
but if you want an app that really stick to status bar network speed indicator xposed module is much better.

[THEME]Droid DNA Cubed

I doubt I'll do much more with this. I took the parts of other things that were out there and rolled them up how I liked. The majority of this is from nitsuj17, some of it I got other places, and some of it I made myself.
Anybody who knows me knows I like some color in my status bar. I did not want to make a whole ROM, so I made this.
This is for a deodexed stock system.
It has:
Wake with volume keys
Hidden GPS icon
Hidden debugging icon
AOSP recents
Rotating Rosie
5x6 app drawer
Remap recents button
Hidden NFC icon
Advanced Power Menu
Removed three dots menu
Centered clock
Accurate battery
And of course, the colored icons in the status bar, and the custom lockring!
I think that's it. Flash it in recovery.

This is nice, but, why can't I find a volume wake zip for stock rooted deodexed anywhere? Could you please help? Thnx
Thanks for this. It's a good combo of tweaks/themes. Running on top of stock deodexed/rooted rom with cubed 2.4.2 kernel. Almost TOO much color in the status bar, had to switch from stock wallpaper to something more colorful!

Are you guys going to be adding themes and/or support for transparent notification bars? Or an option in your menu to enable it like Nova Launcher has?

Once 4.4 starts becoming more popular we'll definitely consider it...
It's not just 4.4 what supports it. ALL Samsung phones on 4.2.2+ has a transparent status bar such as Note 3, S4, Mega, S3 and Round. Nexus 4,5,7,10 all have KitKat now too. It needs to be supported

Still hard to say, there are many features and bugs that take up a higher priority at the moment. Once more people shift onto KitKat, a transparent navigation bar and soft keys will become our main concern
It is now MAY
5 months later....I love this app, it's come SO FAR!!!
But my Nexus 5 is begging for transparency. Give it to me, PLEASE!
And y'all should definitely make a PRIME app like Nova and Apex, people would pay for this no prob. Just a suggestion.

Hi,
Transparency settings are coming very, very soon
So after seeing the transparent notification bar implemented, would it be possible to get the status bar without the gradient that was visible in it? I have some ideas for themes but having the gradient in it would really put a damper in them.

[Xposed] G2 Kit Kat Hacks

So running Kit Kat, what are some good Xposed modules?
I'm using G2 Xposed now and it works about 50/50.
Things I'm missing:
Crazy Immersive mode
It tries but falls back to standard colors.
Slimmer Nav Bar
Just not working at all.
Nav bar button assignment
Again, not working at all.

Sure, send me the agreement. I willing to put it up for sale at $500. I can give u 5% as referral fee.
you can have all those
Immersive mode works perfectly if you use App Settings xposed 1.7 to all system apps to full screen. Then use gravity box kit kat to enable expanded desktop view. Also g2 tweak box beta 2 has mod for 5 button repositional nav buttons.
Where is the best place to get these? I'm keen to start tweaking my G2 as it's totally stock at the moment.

Reduce Nav Bar size works for me with G2 Xposed. Although Knock Off stopped working, when I double tap the status bar, it only opens date options. Transparent status and Nav Bar works also.

Make sure to enable the module in xposed and reboot before you make changes or they won't work. Some changes like nav bar height require a reboot after changing too before you see a difference.
You are on stock-based Kk right? Are you maybe using an older version?
