QUASAR ROM V0.1 - Android Lollipop (5.0.1) Touchwiz - I9515L/I9515 - All Languages
Info : based on the new build: I9515LUBU1BPA2
About :
I decided to modify this rom to make my life easier, because i install a lot of ROMs and doing the cleaning process (Debloat, Deknox, etc) is quite tiring. My goal was to create this ROM to always have at hand the original Touchwiz(no bloatware, of course) with a quick installation (with zip) and with the resources that i use. So i decided to share.
To all: you are not allowed to get my ROM files without permission.

Install BPA2 modem file from Mega folder (Open Odin Choose AP option and flash WIFI_BPA2.tar) - Download Modem

Sobre:
Resolvi modificar essa rom para facilitar minha vida, pois troco muito de ROM e fazer sempre o processo de limpeza(Debloat, Deknox, etc) é bem cansativo. Meu objetivo foi criar essa ROM para ter sempre em mãos a Touchwiz original (sem bloatware, claro) com uma instalação rápida(por zip) e com os recursos que uso. Então resolvi compartilhar.
Para todos: Você não está autorizado a pegar os arquivos da minha ROM sem permissão.

NOTE : Se você estiver sem Wi-Fi, existem duas opções:
Instale o modem BPA2 da pasta do Mega (Abra o Odin e escolha a opção AP e escolha o arquivo WIFI_BPA2.tar) - Download Modem
Instale os arquivos da sua baseband atual (Obrigado ao @marco978)
pela baseband XXU1BOJ3.

looks great
only issue i had was wifi wouldnt turn on and i cant flash the modem cause i cant get near a pc or laptop
i have oj3 baseband
any solution without pc? ?

this rom is fully compatible with the bpa2 modem right
maybe if u can make a flashable zip with the wifi files from the oj3 modem
so that users with the oj3 modem can flash that zip and have fully working wifi without needing to flash the bpa2 modem........what u think?

Choose CP option and flash each file (modem.bin and NON-HLOS.bin)

As I promise i'm back with the .zip for stock file only! for those who want ONLY the transparent Statusbar...
V1 of this .zip will be deleted as was designed with my nick-name and other things that not all people are going to love...
Ok so here are many people that wants the transparent status bar.... first I did it with UOT kitchen and have no problems! works like a charm and its very easy in fact.... so i'm just uploading the .zip that i get on UOT kitchen that should work without problems...
First of all read this!!! otherwise it wont work.
1) Works with SK17a/SK17i
2) Before you are going to try these MAKE A BACKUP of the system on CWM <--- very important in case you notice something its not working fine and go back
3) This "cook" was made in stock ROM 4.0.2.A.0.58 if you are in another build maybe get bootlop....

- Transparent statusbar at 30%
- Changed default font for Sony Sketch
- Changed Overscrow glowing by red
- Zone for notifications are transparent too!!!
- Added JaCkEr60 in the footer of the notifications (ok if this works well I am going to quit these)

I know for those who know, or dont have fear XD, of the UOT kitchen this is very easy, but many people maybe dont know how to use it, so I'm doing these for those people
It take me some time to do this so if it work for you give a comment or at least a thank you!!
It is for ROOTED devices only, and with CWM recovery installed just go to install custom zip and select the one you downloaded it in here (update.zip)

Well thanks to boyq, I can told you that right now its not so easy to apply a transparent statusbar in ICS.... so we have to wait (I will love to see this in ICS :fingers-crossed if I get knowledge on how modify this I will be here again :silly:

You need the original System-UI.apk and framework-res.apk and it will be back to the stock bar....

Es probable que si funcione ya que esa version solo arregla errores menores y dificulta el root un poco, el bootlop no pasaria en tu caso, lo mas que puede llegar a pasar es que cuando presiones el boton de apagado se apague y no te salga el menu directamente, puedes hacer un backup en CWM, e instalarlo y ver si jala, si jala me dices , por cierto trata de usar inglés

enter cwm recovery? if you have already installed when the phone its turning on press the down key volume several times... , if you are doing this ok and have the system files specified you will not have bootlop

Can you make it 100% transparent so that the statusbar clock, battery status, network bart and wifi signal looks like it is actually a small widget?

100% transparent its not a good idea because in some application (like facebook) the background layer its white, so doesnt look anything in the notifications area, you will only see a white rectangle :silly:

You need to be a root user, and with a file explorer copy this files...
framework-res.apk from /system/framework
SystemUI.apk from /system/app
with that 2 files maybe i can create the mod again, but i will be unable to test it.... :silly:

Installation Instructions
1. Download the FlashTool
*
2. install FlashTool

3. Install the driver for FlashTool (located C: \ FlashTool \ drivers)

4. Download the firmware
*
5. Copy the file FTF, it should be placed in the folder C: \ FlashTool \ firmwares
*
6. Run Flashtool.exe - Windows x32 or FlashTool64.exe - for Windows x64
*
7. Click on the first icon (lightning)
*
8. choosing Flashmode
*
9. On the left side, select the firmware here (Xperia U_4.0.4 6.1.1.B.1.54_Brazil.ftf) and press OK
NOTE: In the event such official firmware and Brazil does not need to deselect( Exclude Baseband )
10. Turn off your phone, hold the volume down button and connect the USB cable to the computer. The LED should light GREEN
NOTE: In case of any mistake, do not disconnect your phone from your PC. Wait windows install the drivers and repeat the process.
11. Wait for the process finishes and the message below:
21/03/2013 11:05:51 - INFO - Flashing finished.
21/03/2013 11:05:51 - INFO - Please wait. Phone will reboot
21/03/2013 11:05:51 - INFO - Device connected in flash mode
12. And you've done this with the official firmware on your Xperia Brazil U ST25a.

OBS: Caso de algum erro, não desconecte seu telefone do pc. Aguarde o windows instalar os drivers e repita o processo.
11. Aguarde terminar o processo e aparecer a mensagem abaixo:
21/03/2013 11:05:51 - INFO - Flashing finished.

My mobile is Claro uy, I need to unlocked it to update to ICS?

Do you know if there is any issue reported after the update

FTF updates don't need root acess or unlocking your bootloader, just follow the instructions using flashtool and your phone will be updated

For those that don't know what Evervolv is, Evervolv is an AOSP (Android Open Source Project) ROM.
We're fully open sourced and encourage it with no restrictions. The work put into this rom is community driven and and Evervolv Project is made up of numerous members and contributors.

Its v10! Keep in mind, all JB4.1.2 ROMs use v10 baseband
And a ROM isn't bad just because it uses v10 baseband, I saw a post on Optima group fb saying he won't use Project L, just because its v10! LOL :'D

Yes, because this ROM is PORTED from L7 using CM10 as base (correct me if I'm wrong). CM10 uses v10 baseband. We conclude that the Evervolv 4.1.2 uses v10 baseband also...
Although the stock ROM Jelly Bean uses v20 baseband, ROMs that are not based on the Stock Jelly Bean and has the Android version equal to or less current than 4.1.2 use v10 baseband. The stock Ice Cream also uses v10 baseband.

thanks, i "solved" the problem by installing some online radio app from portugal. I installed your ROM in my father's phone but i encountered several bugs. I can't connect the phone to the PC via USB and sometimes his microphone doesn't work while he is making a call or receiving one. I was loving the ROM, it is very fast and smooth but the microphone bug it's very annoying.
EDIT: When you are charging the phone, it doesn't show that, you only know that because the % of the battery increases

The ROM has lollipop nav. buttons by default but some app screens still sown the lg ones.
That zip is to revert back to lg nav buttons.

Seems kadoc is doing that now.
He's knvirus_acura team head developer.
Seems he's a brave heart introducing his ROM here despite lacking English, I guess he would need some extra help from users but the ROM is good and worth a try

Instaling mode
Download and install TWRPrecovery 3.0.0.0 or 3.0.2.0 by @Nick Verse
Download and copy on the sdcard the rom
Restart the phone in TWRPrecovery by presing vol.up+home+power
WIPE go to ADVANCED and chek Dalvick cache, Data, System, Cache, Android secure Swipe to WIPE
INSTALL go external sdcard, search the rom, clik on it and then SWIPE to INSTALL[/COLOR][/SIZE]
When it's finish reboot the phone
first boot will take a bit longer(dont worry)
Samsung music UPDATE Can be instaled with TWRP_recovery
Boot.img CUSTOM
no SWAP partition
ADB enabled
some Knox exec deleted
Boot.img must be flashed with ODIN

I found an issue
The wireless router does not work, it appears to be active (the router icon lights, but not completely, and the switch is on)
But the wifi my computer does not detect it, also tried with another phone here also does not see it.
