Presenting You Remix OS for PC in an overhauled manner...with many improvements and added functionality.This version of RemixOS is the latest one with many bugfixes from JIDE and is Prerooted.

Installation Instructions:
Installation Instructions are EXACT SAME as depicted on the Jide Website
1.Unzip
2.Open RemixOS Installation Tool
3.Select "RemixOS xXX 2016XXXX TG.iso" in iso box.
4.Select desired installation type (Hard Disk/USB)
5.Select target drive, install, and exit installer.
6.If you installed it on hard-disk , goto the RemixOS directory and delete the unformatteddata.img
7.Reboot and select RemixOS from boot menu.
Note:Google and NoGoogle Modes:
Instructions to enable your preferred Mode:
1.Open Terminal
2.Type "Google" or "NoGoogle" as per your choice without the quotes.
3.Reboot.
These modes can be interchanged any time as you like.

What do u mean by this??? Is audio on realtek chipset buggy? ...I am using this on realtek chipset only.

Is a problem With remix os itselg my realtej audio does not work.. i guess the drivers are missing.

Can you post a list of Gapps included? I am particularly interested in Google Exchange Services.
I'm gonna try this since I haven't tested the 32b setups but question, would you by any chance know if the OTA updater is still working after all your fixes? Or would you know a few tricks to get it to work on an ssd installation. For some reason I was able to do it on USB setups but I can't for the life of me get it to update on my Main desktop and I've reinstalled and reconfigured all kinds if things for the last week or so trying to get it to install and actually update...thanks either way.

also I tried almost every third party apps on store ,they all give me black screen .
Any suggestions to fix this

Bro screenshot is working flawlessly for me......with part scrn and navbar both.......can't figure out how you have this bug.....maybe a driver issue....as remixos is still in beta....so there may be issues.....so wait for a stable release from hide

Bro this hacked edition has many system files modified...so technically...OTA won't work....but I will release OTA as patches which can be applied from windows. For ssd installation...I haven't tried that....also I will upload the captured OTA for 32 bit....you can try that if u are on official version....but if u are on my version no need to update....the latest OTA is already installed???

Arm version runs fine on 64bit RemixOS (need to download app as playstore version is arm64 only); specifically the problem is with arm64 libstagefright.so and the app libs.
Not sure about PhoenixOS as that is 32bit only so should have downloaded arm version from PlayStore.
Opera mini beta also seems yo work fine (with arm64 libs by default)

Have a look at the crash log at /data/tombstones/ or enable crash report via Developer Options.
What version number are you getting from the PlayStore?

I will take a look at the crash stuff...
My PlayStore doesn't work for some reason (when I click on the icon nothing happens, same for the Google settings), so I downloaded the arm apks from apkmirror, and the versions I tested are: 15 (stable) and 16 (beta).
I don't know what's going on...
Should I switch to the 64bit Remix?....

Anyone get constant disk activity with the update? It slows the system down so much, pretty much unusable now. Anyway to disable mounting of other partition? Also amazon store still not working right, can't get updates.

using apps to do a logcat isn't the right way of doing it, because in case of a system crash the app will close before it can save or even see the reason, so that's why I'm giving you the adb logcat
since your pc is logging it'll see everything until there's nothing more left

What's the difference between this one and the OP?
Anyways, I would have loved the CRT Animation, but it's a tad bit too slow on my phone, even with 100ms animation.
Using the LG Optimus G animation now.

Only the one which states arm-arm64 as names are supported to Moto g5s+ here is the link for best out of it with almost all Google camera features but make sure u have camera 2api enabled or it won't work

Ah yeah Moto g5s+ got arm32 and the link I provided which says "arm-arm64 = arm32-arm64" also if u wanna check any app which supports arm32 or 64 than use apk extractor or ES File manager to extract app than open extracted folder > lib > if it says armeabi-v7a means that 3bits if it's arm64-v8a than it's 64 bits most of the mods provided and made does supports 64 bits only cause newer Google camera version are mostly for 64bits and it gets easy for developers to Port it to other 64bit device

What are you using to enable api2?
I tried the persist build prop edit , and still when I try the camera you say to use, I install and it doesn't finish and says "app not installed"

> Than delete any Google camera app staying in ur device some times disabling it won't work u will have to delete it and try again
> also make sure ur trying to install arm32 version of GC and not arm64 (the app which states arm-arm64 are for 32 and 64bits both so it should get installed)

Can you link an app from the play store that would do that? I don't see any ?
I removed the opengapps camera that came with it
I am trying to install the arm-arm64 one you linked

Edit; ok found an app to test api2. It says yes. So now, I still can't install the app. I used titanium to uninstall any google camera that was on the phone, but when I try to install the one you suggested for 3.2 it says it tries to upgrade from 4.2 and won't work.

Success! It installed and saw through the lens , looked really dark then froze and rebooted. I'll play around more

first time opening the app will FC 90% of the time but after that it wont FC much often and dont switch btw camera and video to quickly that also causes it to get stuck and make OS reboot i hope B-S-G fix it in his next update

In the line for activation hal3, take care that there are no spaces between the =
Otherwise it will not work.

Well the value after = is put in the next column so basically you don't use = sign in the build prop
Remarkable, truly remarkable. This is just so bad I have to comment. Values in build.prop are entered on 1 line, with =, and no spaces. This is the value

Ah just realised it's the matter if which app and how ur using it I have been adding it with 2 column 1st one as name and second one contains value and same app contains second method where I can add new prop in single line using = https://photos.app.goo.gl/YPXHL2oKQVR6HQE33

I'll add that I was having issues finding a camera that worked worth a crap, or at all after flashing validus 16.4. I installed the gcam here and finally have something that works for now. Look forward to improvement for sure.
Edit: absolute thank you for finding this though and making this recommendation.

I keep going back and forth on those 2. I'll have to watch which one gives me more consistent results before I delete the other. Even the open camera encountered a fatal error while testing it once. Nbd tho.

Testing faze of Pixel experience is out (64Bit ROM) and arnova's GC 5.1.018 and 5.1.016 works best except video recording doesn't work, pics quality is lot better then stock camera even better than GC for 32bit motion photos works with some tweaks causes some FC but over all I kind of like 5.1 more than any of GC for 32Bits
Hello everyone I was wondering if our phone gpu drivers could get any update and actually....YES!
I found a great Magisk module which can help us in doing it easily
The Module name is:
Adreno 630 GPU Driver
Please before installing it follow these steps:
- check if your phone needs the update to gpu drivers v.415 by downloading from google playstore the app Aida64 and check under the "Display" section the version of your drivers (my phone had the v.305 - I updated it successfully to v.415)
- if you have an older version than v.415 open you Magisk app and in Download search for - Adreno 630 GPU Driver -
- install it and restart your phone
- check with Aida64 if your drivers have been updated
I'm not putting any link here as it is a MAGISK MODULE and you can install/uninstall it straight away from there (safer!)
I don't suggest you any update if you have a newer driver version.
If you encounter any issue after updating just uninstall the mod!

As it is an "update" it should fix bugs and improve the older driver performances. I don't know if it is my imagination but it seems to me that the phone seems a bit smoother.

I'm using it and I don't have any issue but updated my gpu driver
It is an update (like an operating system update or like your pc modem driver update)and it should be tested by the releasing company before the release ?
In any case you can revert back to the older driver by uninstalling the magisk mod.
I'm not here for convincing you in updating but I've been happy to share a mod that maybe it is not known from the majority of us?

Borked my OP6. After boot animation the screen goes black. The only thing that works is if you hold the power button, the menu offering to power off or reboot shows up. Was able to recover though. Would not recommended

I know man, don't worry, I do understand 100% your message and, trust me, before posting it I tried to find some info online but at the end I didn't find anything and, as I love to experiment with my phone I just tried the module with positive results. (I did check again after your message)
I'm running OOS 10.3.1 and as said in the first post my driver version was 305. I presume then that the update to the last OOS version didn't update the gpu driver.

Maybe I am missing some prerequisites? Maybe I need nandroid or busybox or something? So far the only magisk module that works is aurora play services. Stereo speaker mod - did nothing. OOS camera app - nothing
