Hi everybody, recently I was encounter the problem as topic stated.
My phone is Letv1s (x500)
From SP Flash Tool's memory checking, the result is "EMMC_PART_USER Size = 0x0000000747c00000(29820MB)"
But I cannot format the phone by flash tool
Hence, I took reference from this topic
However in masterofdarker's step4, I cannot found where "factory database" is and step5: the scatter file always say that "Incorrect scatter file naming"
May I know if I can solve this problem by using the above method or other ways could solve.

I bought recently my thl W8S, and I was experiencing some troubles with the battery charging (taking 10 hours) and my GPS connection.
So I decided to flash it via CWM. But I'm very new in the flashing and all this stuff. I tried a lot of things to get CWM , even thing I didn't know.
The problem of my IMEI came out atfer I installed this :

The recovery installer apk, I just click on it and when my phone rebooted, I didn't have any access to my SIM management, no more coverage of course.
I tried the *#06# and my 2 IMEI are just marked as "INVALID".
Since yesterday I tried few different operations to get if fixed but nothing is working.
I tried to use the engenering mode (menu CDS, Network information) and send the AT command with the IMEI but I got an error message : AT command is failed to send.
Then I tried to recreate the MP0B_001 file with some tools I downloaded. And I put it in the right folder (/data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/MP0B_001) instead of the old file. I reboot my phone, still the same trouble.
I'm kind of desesperate right now.
Any thoughts / ideas?
I can't find the stock rom to try to flash it with Odin ..

If you didn't back up your efs partition then the only other allowed way is to send it back to the oem.

Great forum! I thought someone may be able to help me before my Lenovo P780 goes on ebay. Having bought the phone from China I cannot get a decent stablel signal on either sim slot. Sim 1 is very hit and miss and Sim 2 barely works at all. The current state of the phone is so unreliable that it makes it useless as a functional device.
I currently have the S110 ROW firmare and the v17 modem installed and despite all efforts to change them it has not been possible.
My final straw came when trying to install the row firwares from Satanduck, using his useful guide. I installed the drivers, loaded SP Flash tools and followed the instructions to tick the DFa Dl check sum, however the firmware will not flash as there is no path for the Uboot image, there is no path? All other files are there, and ticked U boot is empty and if I tick it and hit firmware - upgrade it says HINT UBOOT is checked but with out path?
I have tried all 3 ROW ROM's he has provided and they all have no UBOOT path, surely they are completed firmwares? Many others on this forum I am sure have used them. Please help?! Is there something I am doing wrong?

Basicly loaded a dual sim rom on a single sim Acer Liquid Z200.

Downloaded the last zip file, but CMW doesnt seem to recognize my SD card.
Tried to load the rom with adb using sideload, but get the message cant find device.
Is it possible to load another version of CMW, mount it with USB and flash the zip file from the pc? And can i use any CMW file or are the custom made for each type of phone/brand?
Any other suggestions, got no clue what to do now

Tried to re-load CWM with Smart Phone Flash Tool and got this PMT changed for the ROM; it must be downloaded

Did a format of the device using Flash Tool, MTK USB poort was loaded and was able to flash the ROM for dual SIM.

It's the stock firmware Single SIM EMEA GEN1s, you should back to your original firmware.

used recovery to install the firmware for sinlge SIM.
However now stuck with IMEI issues.
Used Mobile Uncle Tool and MTK Engineering to get into Engineering mode, but get this message: "cannot find engineer mode app"
*#*#3646633#*#* doesnt do anything. Possible that Engineer mode isnt installed? And is it possible to install it on my device?
Tried to load IMEI with MTK droid gave me a message "Changes will come into force after reset", but nothing changed -_-
Any other options on this IMEI matter.....?
Finally found a solution to enter Engineering mode, type *#*#2237332846633#*#*
When i try to change the IMEI with AT commad get a message AT command is failed to send
Tried Uncle tools, but unaible to acces engineering mode with this app.
I can enter a valid IMEI in MTK tools, but after reboot its still unknown.
Tried to copy a new MP0B_001 file to the NVD_IMEI folder
but all failed :crying:
Still searching for the solution, but if someone over here can help me out it would be appreciated.

GOT MY PHONE BACK TO LIFE!!!
Lost the serial number and IMEI, had to write them back to NVRAM using Maui META tool.

Android_Gadget_CDC_driver, CDC driver didnt got installed so had to do this manually.
MTK6572 database: BPLGUInfoCustomAppSrcP_MT6572_S00_MOLY_WR8_W1315_MD_WG_MP_V1_P3_1_wg_n
If you have the serial and IMEI number, go to method B under Restoring Values and add the manaully.
When loading the MTK6572 database i also got a warning: execution warning nvram database file is inconsistent with target load
Ignored the warning and just writed the serial and IMEI to the device.
Disconnected, rebooted and got a working serial and IMEI.
So happy that the damn thing got working again.

Yesterday I flashed a custom rom (Darksense) on my elephone p9000. Everything went fine, that's what I thought.
My imei are changed to 111111111111111 and 222222222222222 , I cant receive sms and calls anymore.
Is there any way to change imei for the elephone p9000 ?
I was looking on engineer mode but...
There's no 'cds informations' on this phone.

2) Flash using sp flash
3) Go to engineer mode you'll find CDS Information

Trid this before but hell, try again.
Same results - after entering AT+EGMR"IMEI" (imei number, not IMEI....) I hit Send AT Command and get " INFO - This command is not allowed in UserBuild"
Still no love.....

Add a space between AT+ and EGMR.
The command must looks like that:
For IMEI 1: AT+ EGMR=1,7,”YOUR NEW IMEI"
For IMEI 2: AT+ EGMR=1,10,”YOUR NEW IMEI"

Download MauiMeta 3G, install the drivers for P9000. I think you can use the same drivers as SP flash tool. Run Mauimeta, choose something like "flash imei", laod file witch is named MDDB_**********.EDB. Shut down your phone, press on start and turn your phone on. Write your imei into the textfields and flash it. (For me it worked only with Stockrom)
I flashed the official Vernee nougat ROM on my Vernee Thor and for some reason the IMEI numbers are now missing
Anyone know how to fix this?

I've got as far as flashing the stock 20160504 ROM and using MTK Engineering, but when I enter the AT +EGMR=1,7,"xxx" command the phone says "AT command is failed to send"
Any ideas?

If you have database folder inside your stuck firmware U can use SN Write tool and then use modem and AP file from database folder write your imei and Reboot your device .
