What's the difference between the beta and concept? I've been enjoying the concept immensely and as far as I know the beta is just more bloatware in the aosp right? Or is the Camera/sound parts of the kernel different.. Makes me wonder if I should go to the beta with some custom kernel support vs concept and no custom kernel I don't know which is better as of now.

Please @Gustavo RD78 kernel for new build

Advanced stock kernel thread modified abandoning state Beta (23.5.A.0.486)
Updated for firmware official 23.5.A.0.570 and TWRP 3.0.2-0

Thanks so much bro!!!

I am not sure if i am at the wrong thread,
I installed Marshmallow 6.0.1 - 23.5.A.0.570, with this kernel
I have no insight in the workings selinux or ricdefeat, I just want to get some apps and or folders on the sdcard... In concept rom I could format the sd as internal SD, in 23.5.A.0.570 I can't, so I tried your kernel.
I also edited the platform.xml to include
Code:
<permission name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" >
<group gid="sdcard_r" />
<group gid="sdcard_rw" />
<group gid="media_rw" />
</permission>
<permission name="android.permission.WRITE_MEDIA_STORAGE" >
<group gid="sdcard_rw" />
<group gid="media_rw" />
</permission>
And in a way I now have foldermount working, but not link2sd. Are there any suggestions to what I could do?

Do you plan on adding any extra governors? Would love to see Interactive or OndemandX

On topic: Nice work scrubber! Just like the user above I'd like to know the steps of the porting procedure.
We don't need 4 pages of posts saying "can't wait" here thanks.
This is a development forum... please treat it as such.
Edit: Apparently nobody is taking any notice of the above.
@scrubber In future, don't even create the thread until you have everything ready to go.
Also, don't request the thread be reopened unless it's to post a download link.
Thread Closed.
Link is up! Downloading now!
Edit: Everything is smooth. Video playback works. Multitasking is noticeably better than other 5.0 builds.

I fastboot flashed the kernel in your rom so I could install the rom. Do I still need to run the fix in the terminal?
Why is " Save all information from the internal memory !!! " important and how do I get to it?

I interpreted this as saying this would wipe your internal SD including media. So make sure you have backup up all media/pics beforehand.

Can confirm that it is working perfectly. Flashed after wiping system, data and cache. Thanks a lot, scrubber!

Great to hear. Out of curiosity are you still unlocked bootloader without your original TA partition? And camera (pics and video) is working?
I was wondering if the camera bug without our original TA partition was going to hit us on this one. Some GPE users are reporting it with Lollipop as well.
Thanks
where is this doomlords kernel boot file? it is in the rom zip? just flash it? thin install rom with recovery?

Thanks for feedback!
Tried to flash it with the indicated procedure above (after unlocking the bootloader).
I'm stuck in the white screen with the Xperia logo changing colors. Any ideas?
Edit: never mind, my bad. I flashed this in .292, that generated the error. Flashed the entire .301 with flashtool, then flashed this and now it works.

Any news for the Nougat?
No rush for me, I'm still waiting for Xposed for N. But I was curious.
Oh also, SuperSu keeps on trying to update binaries, tried to flash the latest with flashfire but nothing. No biggie, root access still works as usual .
Thanks a lot!!!

Could one of the experts build a modified root kernel for 34.2.A.0.311 (F5121/Sony Xperia X) ?
I am looking for some time after that kernel, but obviously no one has yet done that root kernel for now !?
Regards

dear
since su is embedded in the kernel, you should not have UPDATED it from 2.78 to 2.82r5 from playstore, it wont update binaries! but su will still work
if you are on LATEST build / 34.3.A.0.252 / Android 7.1.1 (N) then you may consider flashing the following kernel.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-x/how-to/root-xperia-x-f5122-android-n-34-2-2-47-t3594502
it doesn't have any Root Guard and hance you after flashing (recovery) TWRP you may flash any of the following from twrp
1. superSU or
2. Magisk or
3. SuperUserr259

You must downgrade and root your phone. After that flashing TWRP Recovery and superuser. After that you can backup your DRM Keys. Look at the Forum, there is an big Thread for that.
Wow, concept rom is getting some love again, thanks

I have been using for a few days and it was great as expected. No bugs at all and Concept rom is the fastest for our phone. However, I'm back to existenz cause I can't live without some of its tweaks. But the kernel is 100% recommendable.

Installed and working great! Amazing work, thanks!
Just a point. When I connect my phone for usb in recovery, my computer detects a Z3C instead a Z3. Nothing remarcable, but it's there.
Can Xposed be used with this kernel and Concept rom? And some other mod? Like pexocam o Project meli?
