I'm looking for FM radio app for recording local FM radio programs.There are lots of 3rd party apps on Google Play to record online FM radio channels but I'm searching app to record locally broadcasting Radio channels programs NOT online FM radio channels.
Samsung FM radio app has that feature.but Huawei don't .
Please help me to find a app to record local FM radio programs.

I'm porting my FM app to Galaxy S and it should work on S2 also.
Reading through the service manual for the S I see it says "FM Radio with RDS / real time recording". But there's no such function I can see in the stock FM app.
To record digitally, you need FM audio in digital format. Most phones use a simpler, more battery friendly analog method.
AFAICT the Si4709 FM chip output appears to be analog only. Perhaps some ADCs could be used to digitise.

Plus it has a beautiful interface allowing you to bookmark as many FM stations as you can.
However it is unable to route audio from the phone speakers just like the MIUI FM app in CM7.

I switched from my stock legend rom to the CM 10 beta last week. I am TOTALLY in love with the rom, exept it doesn't have a FM Radio app, and the app "FM Radio" doesn't work either (with the red ruler like logo)
Are there any fm radio apps known working on cm10 for legend?

The only FM radio app that could work AFAIK is Spirit FM
As its developer states:
"How many other "Real FM Radio" apps are on Google Play ? Two: 1 for Galaxy S only and one repackaged Motorola app.
Why ? It's extremely difficult. Google doesn't support FM radio and carriers suppress it. Intensive reverse engineering is required.
Almost 2 years after Spirit was first created, nobody else has been "crazy" enough to attempt to compete in this niche."
Will the Thunderbolt receive HD FM Radio? If so, is there an app or setting changes? Thanks for the info.
If you're referring to hybrid radio, no. The bolt has an FM radio tuner and RDS capabilies, anything beyond that is limited by chipset/hardware. RDS supplies plenty of information, and there's nothing about HD radio that internet radio (spotify Pandora, etc.) doesn't already provide.

I have the tmobile and apparently after researching a bit it's been disabled. Wondering if root would restore access...
