I ask your help in order to install the google gapps and root permissions on my tablet.
The tablet Onda V919 Dual Air CH OS version 5 with Android 5.1 lollipop
I tried everything to installere the gapps and do the root without results.

This link (V919 AIR CH 双系统android固件(V7版本)-20160429) is a new version of Android 5.1 - V1.0.0_V5, build date of April 29. The main difference - the presence of preset gapps. Binary file "su" in the present system, but the question is about activating root-access remains open (in the previous version I su/SuperSU integrated into the image, this will have the same).

Choose: you can use my version: enabled root access (version 2.65 free of Chainfire) and ejected the Chinese program (but the language at first start - Russian). At the same time density of the screen I adjusted to a comfortable value. Or I can put the original, for example, in Google.Disk.
I managed to download !!!!! but with this rom it does not work sound! :crying:

I'm afraid not so simple. You had to change something in the BIOS settings? This is a possible cause of loss of sound. Firmware will not help here.

Yes, indeed, if update the firmware to version 20160429, some of the revisions of the tablet the sound disappears. I can advise you to try version 20160307, rooted and gappsed (added in the thread from the link above).

Hi all!
The UK Nexus Ones ship with ROM version EPF21B. MoDaCo member 'sentie' kindly followed my dump instructions and I have now uploaded a ROM update zip and the associated superboot files.
Note that in order to get the full amount of RAM, you still need to apply the himem superboot (which uses TCK 0.8 kernel).

This is the official Rom shipping with Voda's N1
This rom is UK
Could it fix some 3g and Edge issues encountered in European networks?
Superboot doesnt seem to work properly yet.
I'm getting an error message when writing boot. Sending is OKAY, but writing says FAILED (remote: image update error)
The Himem function seems to work, but the root does not.!

The app is called tv overal. I really like the app and I use it a lot. But now with the latest update the have implanted a sort of root detection. And now i can't see live tv anymore. . I've read about a topic here on xda with google videos. They made a special apk for it. Can someone please do something like that for this app? I really like to use it , but i want to keep root.

There is an app that allows you to deactivate root for a certain time if I remember well, whereas can't remember the name of it at the moment.

Do you mean ota root keeper ? Because that does not work. Even after a reboot.

Can someone confirm this adapted version still works with a rooted phone ? I need at least to be able to record programs in the TV guide, as I use this a lot. This is the only thing preventing me from rooting my phone (SGS 4)

I'm still using the app now. It works on my galaxy s4 but you can't load the tv guide. Watching tv works. You can record a program if you are watching the program and you push record now.

No sadly it says tv overall has stoped. It would be needs if someone find a solution for that. Because I want to use it to.

I've tested it out on different versions. It's always the same problem. You can see tv but you can't go to the tv guide. It's loading and than it says application has stoped. What i do now is using an older version. Version 2.6.1. With this version you can see the tv guide and record programs on your decoder.
With the newest version the xprivacy is not working. You still have the rooting message. I think you have something in the tv guide when you open it , that it also checks root. I really hope that someone can find a good solution for this problem.

Xposed Installer with module Rootcloak works also. First you have to add the TV overal application in the rootcloak list.

When i power off my device (GT-9305) it the whole system lunguage from english into Bloody Chinese lunguage and everytime i need to go by heart and change the lunguage into english again .
can someone tell me what is the problem with it .. maybe a program i have install latetly and if it is i dont have a clue which one is cos i dont when this started this conflict.

If you have SuperSU installed update it to the latest 1.75 (from Play store) as it fixes a bug where the language changed upon boot/reboot.

I had the same issue before I updated SuperSU to 1.75 where my phone changed from English to Italian every boot / reboot.
You may need to:
1) update SuperSU,
2) open the app and update the binary, then reboot.
If it changes language again, reset it to English and reboot again - hopefully the problem will be sorted.

Ok so i got an "Allview E4" not the lite version. It's not a chinese fake or knockoff. It's just made in china it works really well, etc... Well, i can't root it.. There is no way to root it, impossible, No "One-click root" softwares/apks work, and also the fact that it has no "install" in the recovery menu isn't helping, oh and it's in chinese as well

For me it worked at first with kingroot.
Then I found boot.img on needrom, and patched it with magisk (via adb/fastboot), and now I have magisk root

Not to my knowledge, it seems that FunTouch (the fork Vivo has developed of Android) is particularly complicated to root for some reasons. The handset comes with options to "unlock boot loader" but I am not sure regarding the steps from there. From my searches is Baidu and on Chinese BBS-boards such as YDSS (can't link because my account is new) there is still no luck regarding rooting or flashing custom roms for Vivo x20/x20plus. :crying:
NO, and there won't be any in the future, because it is ONLY sold in China as a limited edition ...

Bought one ... very annoying but it doesnt allow you to change stock launcher. It always defaults back to the stock launcher.

[UPDATE] So it turns out you can change the stock launcher for the X20 Plus UD; you need to complete a second step which can be found in settings|security|replace the system launcher. However, in my version you have to first sign up with VIVO Cloud which requires a chinese phone number (it sends you a verification sms).
Loving the phone now!!

I have the same problem about the vivo account and I can't find the folder that you requested. So I can't change the launcher too
