unlock website down

Is the Unlock website down for anyone else?
Use the Chinese version one with chrome browser.
Got a link? Im trying to unlock my 5x
Two links I am trying
1
https://hwid5.vmall.com/oauth2/port...hp&viewType=0&isDialog=0&themeName=cloudTheme
2
https://www.emui.com/en/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail
Still down
Try this but use a browser that translates like chrome for example.
https://www.emui.com/cn/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail
http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-5x/development/root-kiw-l24-usa-kiwi-t3305190
Use the top two things in this post ^
1. Use Chrome & click on the first link
2. REGISTER for a new account using your email - right click and translate to English if you need to (this is why you use chrome)
- I had to resend the email auth before I received it, the email is all in chinese characters, just click the only link
3. Once you're confirmed, GO BACK to the first link in step one and SIGN IN
4. It should automatically take you into the bootloader unlock process, if not: use the second link and complete the process for unlocking the bootloader.
5. Follow the rest of the steps in the guide to install TWRP and get root
And thanks to @deadman96385 for such an excellent guide btw, props!

The link
https://www.emui.com/cn/plugin.php?id=unlock&mod=detail
is hanging...I managed to get a page eventually, filled in my details and pressed submit but it hung...and hung...and hung so I pressed submit again and it still hung...waited ages..so pressed again and eventually got a message "Sorry, you can only request a code twice in six months". So now I have to wait six months before rooting my phone. Bugger!

I gave invalid Product Model (KIWI-L22) while providing the information. I then entered KIW-L22 and with rest of the details correctly and boom....the unlock code showed up. I just posted an update in case if it helps someone. Just make sure you all the info entered is correct.

UPDATE
After emailing support telling them their website was falling over and sending them my details they emailed back with the unlock code within 24 hrs

Can someone upload the software from Huawei for the unlock tool?

Every time I try to download the Huawei unlock tool from their website, it takes me to a Chinese website saying that the server is busy. I was wondering if someone has that software file floating around on their computer that they could upload on here so I can download it?

Don't bother with that unlock tool. I downloaded it and it didn't work on my PC at all. And I am not disabling my virus scanner for some 3rd party Chinese software. That burnt me in the past.
Instead get the bootloader unlock code from the official Huawei website. Follow my guide here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-mate2/general/guide-step-step-wind-mobile-canada-t3387490
1) Get boatloader unlock code. Its 16 characters and you must get it from Huawei. If you cannot get this code you can stop right here. Nothing online will help you and there is no way around it. Trust me, I tried.
Lucky for you Huawei make it very easy now and automated the process. Before you must email [email protected] and wait for them to reply. (from what I read.)
Now you can get it here:
https://community.gethuawei.com/developers/f/48/t/1048
Or direct link:
http://emui.huawei.com/en/plugin.php...amp;mod=detail
I logged in with my Facebook. But you can try to create and login with your Huawei ID.
After logging in, you need to give them these information to get the bootloader unlock code:
---Product Model: MT2L03
---Product Serial Number: From the box of your phone. Or you can open up your phone case and look at the sticker on the battery for it. It is 16 characters. (The Serial Number as recorded in your phone memory is only 12 characters. It is not valid here.
---IMEI: From the box of your phone. Or you can open up your phone case and look at the sticker on the battery for it. Or type *#06# on your phone pad.
---Product ID: Type *#*#1357946#*#* on your phone pad.
After you get this code, record it somewhere and keep it safe. Huawei will only give you this code a few times before they start to seriously questioning you (from what I heard). So once you get it, expect to never be able ask for it again.
(Rooting is unnecessary. But you must unlock your bootloader, which will be done in step 5 below. )

Thanks for the response. I was able to finally get their online unlock tool on Huawei website to load, but now it's giving me an error saying I need to double check the model number, but I have everything inputted correctly. ):

Double check to make sure all the numbers are correct. Refresh the verification code before entering and submitting. Once you hit submit, wait patiently and do not hit submit again. It is slow and takes a while.
If they are and it still doesn't work, maybe you need to email to Huawei after all.
It seem they are updating that system. When I did it a few days ago, they never asked about if the product is a Smartphone or a Tablet.
P.S. You should remove that image containing your phone's information. This is public space and you don't want people stealing that.

Honor View 10 Bootloader Unlock

"This guide is usesless now.. Becuase honor is now not providing bootloader unlock codes... If you already have unlock code then you can follow the setups.."
To install Magisk and gain root in your honor view 10 you have to unlock your bootloader first.
##Please backup your data before proceeding with the process. You will loose all your data if you unlock the bootloader. ##
Please follow below steps to unlock bootloader
1) Create a Huawei ID on this page https://goo.gl/GkkdxE if you don’t have one already.
2) After creating a Huawei id, fill out the details.
3) You will need your phone’s IMEI number, to know that dial * # * # 1357946 # * # * on the dialer app. Fill the required fields and click the Submit button.
4) Save the unlock code you received.
5) Now connect your Honor View 10 to the PC with a USB cable.
6) In the ADB command window, type the following command to boot your Honor View 10 into fastboot mode.
adb reboot bootloader
7) To unlock the bootloader, type the following command and hit Enter. Replace key with the unlock key you’ve previously saved. For example, fastboot oem unlock 44801904392841
fastboot oem unlock [unlock key]
after filling out the details it takes me to an error 404 page

Hey, I'm about to receive my V10, I just wanted to know, unlocking bootloader does cancel warranty right ? If so, relocking it (if possible) brings it back or not ? Thanks for your answer, never really care about this question with my op2 and was just wondering

I spent hours this afternoon going through the Huawei sites and could not find anything. Google only bring up the posts already here and a few others which redirect to the same 404 pages. Luckily my bootloader is already unlocked, but I find it very strange that Huawei have disabled their pages. Where to look now, I have no idea.

I'm already unlocked. I was searching for the other member. Thing is, the OP should update the thread.
Tryed to reach Honor on Facebook and Twitter. No reaction.
Any news on getting honor to respond and helping you unlocking the bootloader on the BKL-L09?
I'm based in the UK.
I tried registering on https://emui.huawei.com/
it has all sort of countries listed including the vatican but it doesn't have any European UK US countries. I decided to pick hongkong, and registered nevertheless.
The unlock bootloader link as seen on youtube video guides doesn't show up on https://emui.huawei.com/ and any direct link point to error 404.
I sent an email to [email protected] and surprisingly, as it's the only email address available on the whole website, my email bounced back.
I'm in the situation where I'd like to have the ability 1-2 years from now to unlock the bootloader without any fuss. I could even consider unlocking the bootloader and voiding warranty now for fear of this option disappearing from honor completely in the future.
But if getting an unlock code is not an option, or if it won't be an option in the future I wish there was a way to know now so I can return the phone.
Thanks

I obtained a code for my Honor v10 and stored it on my PC for the future since I'm not interested to load custom ROMs nowadays (I'll do it when phone becomes old & excluded from official udpates). Will the service termination have any effect on my ability to unlock my phone with the code I saved in the future?
