Program for remote access to IP Camera? - Xperia Z3 Compact Themes and Apps

I'm looking for a working program under Android 6.0.1 for remote access to IP WIFI Camera. Currently, programs like PPNetCam have access to the camera, but on phones with Android <6. For my Z3 compact (6.0.1) can not find an application running by now. Please help ?

App request camera control

I would love to be able to control the camera on my phone with my Fit. Kind of like a remote trigger.

Which the app?
A GoPro app would be awesome...
I'd buy a camera control app too. Great Idea. Selfies for everyone!!! xD uhauhuhaua :good::good::good:
Google Wear watches have this camera control. Does it support only for shooting? Dunno, but it would be enough for me and my Gear Fit.

They are talking about Gear Fit Launcher on Apps from GP for Gear Fit
thread and using with Tasker. Maybe you solve it with this. I didn't understood how to use Gear Fit Laucher and if using Tasker, do I have to root my phone; not interesting about it becouse it is powered by KNOX.

No need to root
Hello, you can control your camera by Gear Fit using GF Launcher + Tasker shorcut. No root needed
And you don't need to turn on your smartphone screen, just open GF Launcher, click on your Camera app shortcut and then click on your Task shortcut.

Still not working on SM-G900H. GF Launcher succeed, Tasker failed. Tasker is not working on unroot S5.

Thank you. It started work at first time. And after "Naming Sequence" value "Chronological" the next picture have new name; not overwriting the first/ old.
New feature for the Launcher would be if it could stream the screen what camera is viewing on Gear Fit screen. Is the bluetooth bandwith enough, dunno. But not needing real time video, just to check if the aiming of camera is right.
Gear fit camera App
There is an app on the play store.
There were a few bugs to start with but now I find it really good.

What is wrong with using Opera Mini?
Didn't allow local web addresses.
Gear web better but not standalone.
I run a few set services at home and would be good to connect to them without having watch connected to phone.

I see it in under Samsung Gear > Samsung Gear Apps > search for browser: results Opera & GearWeb - Internet Browser for Gear.
It's supposed to work with the Gear S, but, again, reviews are mixed. If you don't see it, the dev may have only made it available for the US store - bad mistake if that's the case.
GearWeb works OK you will not see any pictures tho and to use it. You can use the Web standalone or share your phones browser on your watch it's more like Internet for a dumb phone very very basic
By stand alone I mean no bluetooth connection. In remote mode the browser didn't work

Yes standalone Gear Only mode GearWeb works using the Gear S Internet/ WiFi nothing to do with the phone and it's Bluetooth/remote connect
Sorry I do not understand what you mean. When I tried it with no bluetooth the Internet didn't work.

[Q] Throw / screen mirror no sound?

Hey guys,
I'm wondering if anyone has tried to "Throw" function which is mirror casting, and once paired you don't get any sound in the output. I tried this with the Amazon fire stick.
My wife has a nexus 7 2013 with Lollypop, and we have cast of movies off to the chromecast with no problem.
Also I once tried to mirrorcast of the chromecast and it wouldn't pick it up, but the YouTube app would.

I haven't retry it, I'm on a new hotel and let you know.
Back at home I use the function directly to my panasonic TV which has Cast capabilities and worked great.

IR blaster not working after lollipop upgrade

I got the upgrade to lollipop yesterday and now my IR blaster doesn't work. I reinstalled the IR remote app I use to control my TV and cable box but still doesn't work. I hate to do a factory reset cuz I have tons of customization. Any thoughts

Are you using the stock app or another app?
I have the same problem. I was rooted and deleted the stock remote app and had been using Anymote, updated to Lollipop, and now IR controls don't work.
So mine works with stock app but not the one I downloaded. I'm not rooted, just stock.

I got my non-stock remote to work again. I don't know if it was the sequence I did it in since you already tried reinstalling your IR remote app. I installed the stock Smart Remote app and set it up, and it worked. Then I reinstalled my remote app Anymote, and it's working again.

By far the best IR remote app is Galaxy Universal Remote. Mine didn't work when I did a Lollipop upgrade. All you have to do is upgrade the App to the latest version (3.4.9 or above) and it will work again. I could see the difference using a digital camera to look at the IR blaster with Lollipop. With the old app the output was very weak. Once the upgrade was done on the remote app the output was back to normal.

That is true. Last version works fine. The problem is that it is not free.
Another option that works, and is free, is 'IR Universal Remote - IR 2.0'; it is not that godd, but works for some TV models

Manual Camera App for Android KitKat 4.4.4?

I decided to get into smartphone photography with my Android phone and there are some pretty good camera apps that help take good quality photos, but the apps lack quality features such as, shutter speed, aperture, focal length, and other essential manual features. I did do some research on manual camera apps and I did find apps that offer manual camera controls, but they were for Android 5.0+ and rooted devices. I do not own a device with Android lollipop nor have a rooted phone and/or plan on rooting it due to the difficulties of rooting my device. So, I wanted to know if there is a manual camera app like Manual Camera, but for Android 4.4.4. I already tried Camera FV-5 and that did not offer shutter speed and aperture controls. Btw if such a Play Store app does not exist is there at least like a link to an app or private app? (Idk what apps that are not on the Play Store are called)
Device Specs: ZTE Zmax Android 4.4.4 Not rooted
FV-5 does not require root for shutter speed control. Source: my own usage

Where is it located? Can you take a screenshot of its location? I don't think I have that option and I have the pro version.

Select "P" on the left and tap "S". This gives you shutter speed control
