DeYuS kernel configuration
ONLY FOR SUPERSU USER ON SYSTEMLESS ROOT
After kernel flash you'll see a /data/deyus.conf and a /sdcard/android/deyus.log
DeYuS.conf the file that is needed to set some values on boot. Every values can be changed if you know what you're doing.
INSTRUCTIONS
This is simple
Values are "SOMETHING=anything" change "anything" to the one you want.
So GOV=darkness change it to GOV=yankactive
reboot or type /sbin/DeYuS on a terminal and see if it is what you want
some explanations are already in the conf file
ALWAYS KEEP THE ORIGINAL CONF FILE because if anything go wrong you'll just have to use twrp to restore the stock file
a kernel flash won't erase the conf file exept if new features are added on a kernel side

Hey buddy I used singularity kernel 1.8 and the kernel was awesome and I will try out what you have worked on and will continue to support you guys best of luck on updating and maintaining this project.

Again, great job. As Ive said Im moving on but will still tinker with source. I have no doubt you can carry on this kernel and its greatness. Thank you and great job. You have my full support

I don't see it anywhere in the OP, but what Android version is this kernel for?

No, I am puzzled myself why this is happening. I flash rom and gapps, then I flash the kernal and then reboot. That is the correct method right? I checked that I had the right files downloaded and that it was not corrupted. This is really weird.
Anybody else report any problems?

I tried the latest Android N beta, so my bootloader is 71.21, when I went back to MM I never bothered to change my Bootloader because I didn't have any problems. Do you think that this is the main cause of the issues? Should I downgrade bootloader?

Ahah i knew it. The other guy on g+ also have latest bootloader. I'm not sure but it can cause problem
DO NOT DOWNGRADE. I don't know what would happen
If you really want to try it. Do it but make sure that you can and have abilities to recover the device from a hardbrick
At this moment i don't know how to fix that. I'm sorry but i gonna take some time for me to fix this unless you have an idea
[edit]
I have 2 people report that downgrading to 71.18 solve the issue

Overclock isn't needed, I actually underclock my device, the new build is up and should work fine for you. If not I suggest a clean flash of everything. I also don't recommend overvolting, I include voltage table for us to undervolt.
Completely new here to having a custom kernel on any phone. So I'm wondering what app is the recommended one for over clocking/under clocking

I have a friend named Aditya who has a Nexus 5, so I named it that. (ironically, he couldn't flash it because he didn't want to root so it started getting messy)
my username is javelinanddart because my first phone was a peice-of-**** samsung dart, and a javelin is a huge dart (basically) and I liked it so it stuck.
Hey guys! 2 New builds up in my AFH
Build 2-add s2w,s2s,and dt2w
Build 3-remove interactive governor and replace it with elementalx + s2w,s2s,and dt2w
blu_active is being buggy as hell for me so I'm going to leave it for right now
I might readd interactive and make elementalx a module but we'll see
Enjoy!

How to post bugs
As you know, this is a kernel, so logcat is useless. We use "dmesg" to track what the kernel do and how it's done, what it's fault...
If you post logcat to a kernel dev, no helps. So now, a single rule: No logcats
To post bugs, please do this:
1. Make sure you have a computer running any Linux distros (e.g Ubuntu) (ignore this if you already have)
2. Plug your phone with USB cable plugged to computer
3. Open Terminal, type these (DO NOT MISS ANYTHING)
Code:
adb shell dmesg | tee dmesg.txt
The "tee" command will export your "dmesg" (driver messages) to your /home/<USER> folder (e.g from mine: /home/a1/dmesg.txt)
4. Post the full dmesg text logs to this thread

You have to experience yourself. Asking people just getting answers depends on their opinions
Cpu governor and i/o scheduler for battery improvement? I used interactive for governor and deadline for scheduler.

[Kernel] [Google assistant] [All Variants except Asian] Werewolf Kernel

This is my custom kernel for the LG V20. I've spent weeks working on this and making sure it works on both stock and custom roms.
Theoretically all the variants except the ones from Asia will be compatible with this kernel.
What's been tested and verified:
H910
H918
LS997
Sometimes when booting, the screen will glitch out. When it finishes booting, hold your finger over the left too side of the screen where the front camera is until both screens shut off, and the screen will stop glitching out.

- LZ4 Compression
- Adreno idler
- Adrenoboost
- KCAL
- Optimizations following KISS(Keep it simple stupid)
- Built with GNU's GCC 6.3.1

love this kernel! been testing on my Dirty Santa rooted LS997 phone
Finally something to flash on my h910! Need more AT&T love in these threads.
Love this kernel too on my tmobile v20. Thanks all your hard work brother.
Usa red-dragon is anyway you could include color control in this kernel please. Using stock kernel screen looks very pale and boring. We need a little bit color saturation.
Thx for your hard work.
This based off 10j sources?
Instant very noticeable improvement in speed. Thank you very much!
I am on the lineage cm14(910) rom and flashed the kernel and the static boot it is gone.
Thank you!
Flashed this over the NSS ROM on my H910 - no more static boot!!
Anyone flash this over maximum overdrive on h918. I did and i got what looked like tv static lines all over my screen. Had to reflash whole rom to fix

This app works with any rooted phone. I've been using it for a long time and it's always worked. Only need root, no kernel stuff.
---------- Post added at 02:40 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:24 AM ----------
This kernel works on the vs995 (Verizon). At least with WETA's ROM.
@USA-RedDragon What cpu and gpu gov do you recommend for smooth performance.

Just tried the app. Doesn't do NEARLY any justice as kernel level color control does. Thanks for the advice though

I use custom 5 preset and then turn the saturation up to a level I like. I don't have it in front of me right this moment. I've been testing ROMs all day so have been going back and forth.

No, it's based of Qualcomm's CAF kernel and has LG's drivers put on top. That's why it has compatibility with stock and custom roms

This is my 3rd attemt at making custom kernel for G3, after few months of working on it, i think its mature enough to make it public. Kernel used lineage cm-14.1 as a base, since then i made over 1500 changes to it. Much features are taken from 3.10 base and its version is probably closer to 3.10 then to 3.4.
R1 to R7 Kernel comes in 4 variants:
Standard and slim version for Nougat and Oreo
Slim verion lacks in additional governors and hotplugs.
This kernel was only tested on D855, but should work on other variants without issues, if any let me know.
R8 Kernel is only for Pie and Oreo Roms.
Nougat and slim versions are EOL.
Features:
Compiled with UBERTC 4.9
Additional governors: Impulse, zzmove, alucard, electroactive, elementalx, intelliactive
nightmare, slim, smartmax, smartmax_eps, umbrella_core, yankactive
Addtitional hotplugs: alucard, autosmp, blu_plug, bricked, mako, intelliplug, msm
MSM Limiter
State Notifier
Powersuspend
Power Efficient Workqueues
Per core input boost
CFS Scheduler policy
Intellithermal
Adreno idler
Simplr GPU Algorithm
KCAL
Faux Sound Control
USB Fast Charge
Arch Power
Additional io schedulers: deadline, fifo, fiops, maple, sio, sioplus, tripndriod, vr, zen
Wakelocks bloker
Dynamic fsync
Async Fsync
Frandom
CPU OC to 2,8 GHz, UC to 288MHz - oc disabled by default
GPU OC to 657 MHz, UC 27MHz - oc desabled by default

These zips are AIO this means it will detect your G3 version and flash proper kernel, a backup of stock boot.img will be created in the directory where the zip is, just in case smh goes wrong.
Also i included a control app to manage the kernel, its based on KA fork made by @bhb27, i made changes to make it work on G3, plus added some other features missing in @bhb27 KA.

Gangsta!
Your out of the box settings are awesome.
Turned on sound control and fast charge both work. PC connection charges at 850mA instead of 500mA.
Set headphone to +3 and it's a lot. I'm concerned about the mic set to +24 default setting??? is that to high, haven't tested yet.
No idea on battery life but cores are nicely under control. Also gpu is very tame!

I should mention. D850 LOS-N

Thanks man. One thing tho, your kernel auditor doesn't work, I installed it after I flashed the kernel and tried opening it, and it just sits on a white screen. Any idea why its doing that? Thanks man in advance.
His kernel auduitor works well, you just have to give root in magisk.
---------- Post added at 09:23 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:21 PM ----------
I recommended uninstalling the old kernel auduitor, full reboot, then go into recovery to install the kernel.

Hope you have a wonderful and safe Christmas.

In the cpu voltage settings.
For the zzmove profiles, go to cpu tunables and scroll down to profile number, tap it, delete the zero and enter 4

He mean't cpu governor tunables, look for profile profile_number and remove 0, replace it with it 4 (name is zzbat) i think.
