Cannot silence ringtones and notifications when a headset is plugged into my device - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

I have a very annoying problem. When I'm listening to music, podcasts etc. or anything with my head phones, and my device is set to either silent or vibrate when a notification or phone call comes through it blares through to my headphones especially phone calls. I use Viper to enhance my audio and listen to my music at a high fidelity and when a phone call comes in it is extremely loud through my headset. I'm running a ported rom Uncarrier V2. If anyone has any suggestions or a possible solution it would be greatly appreciated .
Thanks in advance!!

Handsfree problem

Sorry if this has been brought up before....i tried searching but couldn't find anything.
I seem to be having a problem and don't know how to solve it:
When someone calls, it only rings on the phone and not in the headphones as well.
So if I am listening to music and I get a call, the phone rings and the music pauses but there is no ringtone in the headphones??
I am using the stock megabass (wired) headphones that came in the box with the x10. I have no problems answering the call and speaking using the hands-free.
I am on the generic UK R2BA020 firmware.
Any assistance would be great.
I don't know about the wired phone, but it definitely works for my mw600 that came with the phone..
I just tried calling myself using another phone while listening to music on mediascape through bluetooth..
so when the phone(regular) starts ringing, the phone beeps(maybe through bluetooth, i forget) and then the music stops, and then i hear the ringtone through the bluetooh a second after the music pauses...
and then when i stop the call, the music plays again

[Q] bluetooth speaker phone defaults

I am sure this may be an issue for some people. my car stereo has bluetooth that links with my phone and mutes the car stereo and turns on speaker phone when a call comes in. i like the fact that it mutes the stereo since i usually have it very loud, but my problem is i cant set it to default to the phone earpiece and not the speakerphone, even when i answer a call and press the button to keep it on the ear piece, it switches right back to the stereo a second later, i press it again and it stays on the phone. i have had this issue with all my other phones as well and it drives me nuts. is there anyone who can come up with a fix for this?
i appreciate any input anyone may have on this.....
thanks
It is not a problem with the phone, it is to do with bluetooth profiles as they are designed to communicate with TWO devices not THREE. I also use car stereo for playing my music. I do not get that many calls while driving so I never use my bt headphones.
Moved to proper forum.
sorry about posting in the wrong forum. I am only trying to get it to default to the handset when i pick up a call. i do not use it to play music, so i have no need for that to even be an option, i just want to be able to pick up a call on my phone, and have it stay on my phone while it uses the bt link to mute and un mute the stereo. i find the speakerphones in car stereos to be totally worthless for talking, but i find the mute feature very useful.

[Q]Disable notifications through bluetooth?

I use my phone to stream music to my car's stereo, and when I get a notification of any sort, it plays from my phone and then echoes through my car's speakers. This is rather annoying and I can't find a workaround. If I put my phone on vibrate when I enter the car, then I get no noise from either, and I'd never know if I missed a message or something. Just wondering if anyone has a method to force notification sounds through one audio output or another, not both.

I would also like to know this. I have a bluetooth speaker at work and a bluetooth car stereo. When listening to music, it is annoying to hear the music cut out and play a notification for an e-mail or SMS message.
Have You guys tried to set notifications volume to none? There are surely plenty of programs that change the phone profile after for e.g. connecting to bluetooth device.

[Q] Routing audio through A2DP AND the phone's speaker simultaneously. Possible?

Whenever my phone is connected to my stereo through A2DP, the music is played through loudspeakers only by default. However, when there's an incoming call and my ringtone is being played I can hear it through loudspeakers AND the phone speaker, which creates a pretty cool surround effect. I'd really love to make my music player interact with all the speakers like this all the time. I took my chance installing various apps like SoundAbout to help me figure it out, all to no avail. Any ideas?
Unlikely. There may be a way but it definitely involves some kind of hacking.

Bluetooth headphones and phone ringer

Hello everyone I'm using a pixel 3 and have a pair of isotuenes Xtra 2.0s I use at work for hearing protection and entertainment. My phone only rings Through the headphones when they are connected via Bluetooth. Is there a way to make my phone always ring through both it's it's speaker and the headphones?
I'm missing calls because thought-out the day I have to remove the headphones to talk to customers or co-worker and the only solution I've found so far is turning Bluetooth off when I have the headphones removed but this is a hassle because my work environment is constantly changing.
I appreciate any recommendations,
Thanks
Try turning on vibration notifications for it maybe as a work around.
