[EMUI 4.0][Stock ROM][CHM-U01][TWRP Backup] Stock CHM-U01 C432B560 ROM for Honor 4C - Honor 4C ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other Develo

Hey guys I just upgraded my Honor 4C to the latest EMUI 4.0 update. It includes some nice new features such as the profesional camera mode . So I uploaded a TWRP backup so it's faster to install rather than using the Update.app, and it will work for a few more builds.
UPDATE.APP
In case you want the original package, download here
To install it you'll need to be in Lollipop B310 or later.
- Copy the dload folder to an empty microSD card.
- Then reboot while holding volome down + volome up + power buttons untill your phone starts to update.
Note that installing the update will wipe your data partition, so backup your files!!
TWRP Backup
I'm not sure what build you require to install it, but most should work fine.
Link to Backup
To install it.
- Extract the zip files into a folder.
- Copy the folder to your TWRP backups folder.
- Reboot to TWRP by holding volume up + power buttons.
- Make a FULL backup, that includes data, system, cust and boot.
- Wipe cache and dalvik.
- Wipe data if you are running Lollipop or KitKat.
- Go to backups and restore > CHM-U01 Andriod 6.0 EMUI4.0 C432B560 > restore.
- Wait until restore
- Reboot
To recover mobile signal and/or build model
- Go to TWRP
- Restore a backup of Cust
- Done
To ROOT
- Download SuperSU-v2.62 and SuperSU-v2.66
- Copy the zips to your microSD
- Flash v2.62 and then v2.66
- Reboot, it might take some minutes
- Download the latest version of SuperSU from the Play Store
- Open it and update the SuperSU binary
- Reboot
- Done
- If root dissappears just reflash SuperSU-v2.66
Give a thanks if this post helped you

TWRP one did just bootloop for my b310, gonna try the official version next and hope for the best.

Works.... Tested CWM Touch.
Nice Job Man, now we dont have to reflash 4.1.2 and root and flash 4.3 again n again n again n again
Life saver.
---------- Post added at 10:53 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:25 AM ----------
Tested All recoveries:
1. CWM works fine
2. TWRP fine
3. CWM-touch (some difficulty in navigation, but works ok)
is there any way .. with out installing purerome.. .for rooting ?
i dont wanna change my stock rom....
I tested it, but only TWRP make backup. CWM says "can't mount system". CWM touch says "backup completed", but there is no backup files on any of storages.I tested two others CWM mods and they also says "can't mount system".
Ohh, I found CWM Touch backup files. After I read log file, I saw this row -> "I:using /data/media for /sdcard/0/clockworkmod". Backup folder is in /data/media/clockworkmod/backup/..
There is something wrong with filesystem table. I saw several lines that say Unable to get recovery.fstab info for: /datadata, /emmc, /sdcard, /ed-ext and /external_sd.
yep. this works. haven't tried backing up yet though. thanks.
thanks, its work.... but, why i cant mount system, its always "mount system Eror"....????
can any body help...
Can cwm mount sdcard0/1 and system?
Sent from my C5303 using xda premium
CWM shows "error in mounting system" when I try to mount system. As a result, can't take nandroid backup.
CWM Touch shows "error in unmounting system" when I try to unmount system. Though it can take backup, when I try restore, it shows error in unmounting system.
TWRP though not showing error, and seeming to backup correctly, when I try restore, it shows error in unmounting system.
In other words,
not working for me.
I'm on CE 4.3 stock, rooted, LB.

For 4.1.2 backups use CWM or TWRP, for 4.3 backups use CWM Touch.
Remember, if you restore an 4.1.2 backup you need change kernel to 4.1.2.

I tried to restore 4.3 backup in cwm touch & twrp. it showed error "unable to unmount system" after md5 verification.
I tried to restore 4.3 backup in cwm. It verified md5 and erased boot image. after that it showed error "error, can't mount system" . As a result, I got soft brick on booting.
Its as if, CWM has its "mount system" freezed. CWM & TWRP have their "unmount system" freezed
Same for me, can't mount /system, so it's basicaly unusable ;/

in cwm touch you need mount system and data first, if you have trouble try use advanced restore.

once you flash the custom rom yo need flash root too, once reboot need install CWM again because the recovery image are in system partition.
@ OP
Suppose i am on a 4.3 ROM, and i want to flash a MOD or add-on, which recovery will be compatible with 4.3?
I am on LB, so if the recovery formats system, i have a very long process to get back to where i was.
Currently no compatible custom recovery for LB, but there are people working on it!
We all wait!

Install full Gapps package on mi3/4 (cancro) make sys partition 1.2gb by flashing zip

Mi3 has a dual boot,it is useless on any other rom then miui and eats space
This is how to merge sys1 and sys2 without adb shell or without connecting to a PC
backup system partition as it will format(excluded sdcard)
1.download the zip file below
2.backup with cwm/twrp
3.flash it (tested on cwm/twrp)
4.advanced restore system partition from nandriod backup
5.flash full gapps modular or stock package gapps
You are done
Note:flashing stock gapps will replace your stock apps and will break ota

I don't see the point of this thread. It is right next to the original thread on extending partitions in Mi3 General section.

install of linage os 13 through CWM

First of all search
Repartition_MI_Pad_1_2GB_zardMi3.Zip
And download it
And then download
CWM RECOVERY 6.0
OR OTHER VERSION you want
Of CWM
And install cwm by just going into
Update software of xiaomi pad
And on upright corner click on icon
And then select install zip
Select CWM RECOVERYzip and afterword reboot it and it will again open as usual
Now power off it
Now press volume up and power button simultaneously
Wait for few seconds it will open CWM RECOVERY. And then go to system 1 and backup your current ROM (I insist not necessary) and then Wipe data ,cache, system
,Dalvik cache,
After wiping system 1 go to system 2 again wipe
System cache, data , system and then go back to system 1 and select install zip and select Repartition_MI_Pad_1_2GB_zardMi3.zip
And afterword again select install.zip
And then select linage os 13.zip placed in your sd card
And flash it up
After finishing it install gapps and
Hurry it's all done okey
But these all should be done through system 1 only and it should be active shown
Thank you
For those on whom TWRP didn't worked okey
As I have used both but TWRP DIDNOT WORKED FOR ME
NO BLAME CAN BE PUT ON ME IF SOMETHING WENT WRONG ON YOUR XIAOMI PAD OK

[SGP321 Pollux] Best way to go from LineageOS 14.1 to 16?

I have a SGP321 (Pollux LTE | Xperia Tablet Z) on unofficial LineageOS 14.1; the TWRP is the one built into the boot.img (v. 3.1.1).
I'd like to get to 16.0.
1.) Can I go from 14.1 to 16.0, or is there a reason 15.1 should be flashed first?
2.) Will any version ≥ TWRP 3.2.x.x official or unofficial work for both Oreo and Pie?
3.) Is this a correct order of operations:
a.) Boot into FOTA recovery
b.) Advanced Wipe: Dalvik + System + Cache + Data + Internal Storage (also, is there a difference between Format Data and Advanced Wipe > Internal Storage?)
c.) Install .zip for LoS from external SD card (or should I sideload via adb?)
4.) Installing gapps is listed as optional, so I can skip installing an opengapps .zip?
5.) Installing addonsu .zip can be done later?
Thank you!

Hello!
1. Yes, you can.
2. For Oreo and Pie 3.2.x.x and 3.3.x.x are optimal.
3a. Check FOTA recovery version, if <3.2.x.x i suggest updating first.
3b. The difference is, that formatting data doesn't wipe internal storage (as far as i remember).
3c. External SD is better (though it's your choice).
4. If you don't GAPPS you can skip it.
5. Yes it can be done later, but i see no reason to not installing it in 3c.
Also think of root management solution, suitable best for you. Will it be internal root manager of LOS (with the help of addonsu binary) or you will use Magisk, which is more complex and has it's benefits too.
Good luck with flashing!
Thank you for the info!
I'm getting dropped into TWRP after flashing the latest 16.0 .zip.
This is specifically what I did:
1. Pushed lineage-16.0-20200511-UNOFFICIAL-pollux.zip & twrp-3.3.1-0-pollux.img to external_sd via adb root
2. adb reboot recovery; verified md5sums via terminal
3. In terminal: # dd if=/external_sd/twrp-3.3.1-0-pollux.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/FOTAKernel
4. Reboot into FOTA recovery; made sure the version = 3.3.1-0
5. Wipe: Format Data
6. Advanced Wipe: Dalvik + System + Cache + Data + Internal Storage
7. Install the lineage .zip
8. Wipe Cache/Dalvik and reboot system
After the "Sony Xperia" logo pops up, the Lineage boot animation runs for about 2.5 minutes, then the tablet drops into TWRP (RescueParty).
I can restore a 14.1 backup I made before flashing, and the tablet will boot again successfully.
Not sure where to go from here/not sure which specific log file would be necessary—or even available—to diagnose the problem (dmesg, logcat, Console-ramoops).

This happens sometimes. Try to wipe everything ones again and flash LOS via TWRP.
FYI lineage-16.0-20200609-UNOFFICIAL-pollux.zip build is available.
