How to root samsung device without getting custom binary blocked by frp error - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey there
I hadd my j5 500fn version for a month its on android lollipop 5.1.1
I tried to root it yesterday and it wasnt that nice
I tried rooting by removing google account and enable usb debugging mode and rooted using the odin method with cf root file
As soon as it finished it rebooted with a yellow "set warranty bit:kernel" message on left top of the device name and it all went fine and root checker said it was rooted and could use all root apps but then i tried adding the google account again and restarted my device and then got the custom binary blocked by frp error
I solved that error by flashing the official stock rom again and then i tried rooting again and got the same problem again
It seems like i cant root with a google account and without it i cant install any google play apps
Any suggestion???

So di you suggest teying to root with oem disabled??

?
The question was whether you have enabled OEM unlocking in the development options. If your phone has this option, it must be enabled for you to load a custom recovery that's used with auto root to root, and then it will flash back the original recovery.

Odd. I've rooted dozens of Samsung phones and have not come across this. If you are already logged into Google and then enable OEM unlocking and then root, does it still get blocked?

I dont use a guide to do it i just tried this same method on my old j1 and it worked but ut doesnt seem to work here
Here it is:
Remove google account
Enable oem unlock
Turn off mobile and put it on download mode
Flash the cf auto root with odin
Mobile turns on and it root automatically then reboots
A yellow set bit warranty: kernel message in top of the screen
Until now all is fine root works fine and all but as soon as i enter my google account and reboot i get the custom binary blocked by frp error and have to reflash the official rom again to get it to work

You might not be using the right CF package. Just try TWRP + SuperSU zip method instead.

Make sure to boot into TWRP before it boots into the OS to flash SuperSU.

Root method for 5.1.1 for the SM-G360T1 THIS WILL TRIP KNOX. If you don't want to trip knox don't use this. If you do use it and whine you tripped knox because you didn't read ,we will all point and laugh at you.
Named it TrapKernel because well its not my normal HispAsian Kernel and I listened to a crap ton of Trap Music while doing it.
Thanks to @g.lewarne and his root method with his Unibase and Unikernel for the s6 , we finally have root after I ported it over to us. So be sure to thank him for his work.
What's included:
Auto installation of root and busy box
Kernel set to permissive
Otherwise stock
So here's the deal. Stupid simple.
Before you do anything, go to settings/about device and tap Build Number til you unlock dev options. Go into dev options and make sure OEM Unlock is checked. Now you can continue.
1. Put Phone in Download mode
2. Open Odin
3. Connect Phone
4. Put Kernel in AP Slot
5.Flash it
6. Reboot and profit
Notes:
Download SuperSu from the Playstore. Its not included.
If at first it doesnt boot, pull the battery and reboot.

Heres the kernel source that is set to permissive and will allow root if anyone wants to fork it and build a kernel:

custom Binary(boot) Blocked by FAP lock
any help please master?

Rooting using CF-Auto-Root shows FRP Lock, can still use the phone fine.

So i tried rooting my S6 edge using CF-Auto-Root, I got the correct files the correct version everything matching.
But during the process it fails and says "Custom Binary(RECOVERY) Blocked By FRP Lock" I restarted the phone and its fine but how can I root it, how can I bypass this if its even possible?

Install Kingoroot for pc.
Enable USB debugging on your phone and connect it with pc using USB cable.
Open Kingoroot, enable your net connection and click Remove Root button being displayed.
Wait for the process to complete.
By the way, if your concern is that payment apps like Samsung Pay are not working on a rooted phone, why don't you install xposed framework and use RootCloak.
RootCloak is a xposed module which prevents apps from discovering root privileges on a phone.
That's what I did when payment apps stopped functioning on my phone.

Solution to j327P (Sprint Variant) FRP bootloop

If you Have accidentally disabled Developer options and your phone was rooted, you probably went into a bootloop, and you think the only solution is a full odin restore, bu thats not true, there is an odin flashable package that allows you to bypass the FRP custom image block message and lets you boot into the os, from there enable oem unlocking, and reroot your device with supersu. I will attach the odin flashable below for those who need it.

Simply turning off usb debugging will not throw your phone into a boot loop normally unless ou had some bad hardware or custom settings.. Only time ive seen that happen is by using data from other models. Easy way to get past it is to just take out your battery for a bit, replace it then boot into upload mode. Next youll have to try various combos releasing the buttons and presing again quickly to get back to the download mode. Alternatively boot into TWRP/STock recovery, use AT+ Commands or use a application that will boot back.
Awesome you found a little trick to simplify it ! Keep it up!
EDIT: Ohh i see.. you are on a custom rom / binary? I still have yet to have this happen but to a J700 with SynexOS on it.. Ill give this a try.

Question [SOLVED] Cant get into my tablet because of "Can't create work profile because policy prevents custom os"

***UPDATE***
To anyone who comes across this, I fixed the issue by following a guide by @AddictedA1 on this post . Note that your case might be different as in you might be locked out of device and unable to change OEM lock from settings. This was the case with me so I just follwed the FRP/Knox bypass guide, accessed settings, enabled OEM unlocking and the proceeded with the above guide.
If you have any questions then just message me.
***************
So today we were given Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 lites by our state government for promoting technology in the state (elections in a few months go figure).
The issue was that it comes with knox which has government agency as the admin.
I tried rooting by flashing magisk flashed AP following this guide (for samsung galaxy tab A7) but now after startup it asks me to connect to the Internet and, runs a few checks and says "cant create work profile because security policy prevents this on a custom os".
It's just stuck at that message and can't get out of there.
I've never had any Samsung device before so I might be doing something wrong. Any help on how to get out of this is appreciated. Thanks
Well. I faced the same problem. After hours of hit and trail i finally managed to atleast boot back to my previous state i.e Yogi Ji's pic
Solution : I just relocked my bootloader via Download Mode and Flashed latest Firmware ( September Build ) with ODIN Tool. Untill some new development i.e custom ROMs for this device comes i think we are stuck with this lol

FIX - "Can't create work profile because policy prevents custom OS"
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite was distributed by our state government for promoting technology in the state. (JUST ELECTION THINGS) Anyways, the Tabs are coming with Samsung Knox security which cannot be uninstalled, disabled, debloated with adb...

Somebody get help or asked some experience in XDA to make a TWRP port for this device or else forget privacy in this.
