Mirror download:
http://uploaded.net/file/npj4c0fj
2GB File, Installation time <10Mins + Optimisation of Apps
(Installation Guide provided in zip)
But basically extract and move the update.zip to root directory of SDcard and run the update tool from the phone and it should find an update
Those who have installed help keep this page updated with the differences noticed
Whats been noticed:
> Lockscreen Image Bug Fixed (Needs reboot when image set)
> Video/Audio Sync Bug Sort of Fixed - Video/Audio seems in sync when using headset and WiFi, without still a delay. Also without wifi so using data there is delay no matter what. --- Scratch that, i was watching a dodgy video i think! Looks fixed!!!
> New "Headset Hi-Fi" setting in "Sounds and Vibration." You may switch between "Standard" and "Super" and play a demo to see the difference.
> The mobile signal bar no longer says 3G/4G when it is not being used. Just a signal bar now.
> When charging the phone the Notification LED doesnt blink red anymore. Stays on continuous even when using the phone while charging. Always red light.
> Social Media videos skipping when music on in background and viewing the video. Then when going back to the music app the music stops playing while the song is continuing. >>>> This still occurs.
> Android Pay still unavailable.
> July Android Security Patch
> When switching between apps, the clear all button no longer says how much RAM is being used.
Root without unlocked bootloader
http://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/development/wip-axon-7-root-bootloader-unlokced-t3441204
Contacted my ZTE source about the bugs still being there. It seems quite clear that it is software bugs and really does seem like they are working on it so i suggest dont return your phones, just be patient for more software updates
Update - 30/08/16 News from ZTE
> The next update will fix the Video Audio issue.
> Social Media issue.
> Camera will have added 60fps recording option after chats with the USA team.
> Android Pay
Coming soon. End of this week/Next week should be by OTA.
If anyone notices anything still not working please post here and i will send the ZTE team an email and keep this topic updated.
Feel free to post any differences if you install before me!

2GB? That's a big update.
If it's not too late, can you capture / save that update and share it with us?

Added a link

Installed and testing. First thing i noticed is that the Lockscreen wallpaper bug is fixed.

"Back up the data and APPs in your phone by using the built-in Backup function. To enable the built-in Backup function of your phone (an SD card must be inserted), select Backup and Restore from the main menu"
I think they're imagining this

Keep updating the new topic with updates what figure out with the new update.
Did the sound issue being fixed or not several people mention in different threads.
Sent from my iPad Air 2

New "Headset Hi-Fi" setting in "Sounds and Vibration." You may switch between "Standard" and "Super" and play a demo to see the difference.

At 2GB, this seems like a full image. I'm not at a computer; can anyone check it out to see if that's the case?

Seems to be fixed. At least YT sound is synched (tested with "Audio Video Sync Test" on YT)

From Z-Community (USA)
"This update(B20) provides some enhancements to the UI, includes a new Google Security update and optimizes battery performance. Most of your ideas here in the community are currently being reviewed by our R&D team to be verified and tested for upcoming releases. You can perform the update on your device by going to Settings-->Updates--> then pressing the "Next" button. Your device will see the new update and ask if you want to download and install. Stay tuned, we have some more surprises up our sleeve this week!!"

Does this include EU version also??
Seems not.

The OP mentioned "B02", not "B20". Typo?
Anyway, the B20 for the US version was only ~80MB. The OP reports 2GB for this one. Sounds like the difference between a standard OTA update and full image. Not sure why they'd do a full image update, but some companies have/do.

It's specifically for the European version. A2017G is the model sold in Europe.
Any information about the bootloader for the European model with this update?
Is the launcher still without an app drawer?

Does the double tap to open option included from the beginning to European version or not??

No Info about bootloader yet. Stock launcher still without app drawer, but honestly, try Nova or Action launcher. I´d even use these with stock android.

What about these features In G version?
We recently got August security patch without any of these....
Finally.
What the hell? No MiFavor 5? This sucks! I mean the fixes, etc are cool, but still...
Oh, I'd kill to have the Quick Setting Tiles on the G...
I just happened to get to get to the software update page today, and it was quite the coincidence that the new version had come out just a few hours ago.
The only thing I had problems with, and still doesn't seem to be fixed is the hotspot DNS issue.
I have my APN Type set to default, supl, mms, dun so I'm not sure why that's still a problem for me. I don't want to hijack this thread though.
Other than that, it seems to be working fine. I'll have to get my Daydream goggles on.

The hotspot issue was fixed with this update. Try resetting the APN to its default values.
Mine shows the update with the list change log above, but still calls it zte_A2017UV1.1.0B25
Seems it's a Typo and will show up as b32 when implemented.

If you'd kill, then why don't you install MiFavor 5? Been using it for a while on the G, zero problems.
Installed and running well so far.
They've also added Caller ID settings under additional carrier settings in the call settings. Can now be set to network default, hide number or show number.
Sent from my SHIELD Tablet using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Quick Settings Tiles are nice but the radios are still broken. WiFi and cell data still randomly turn off as often as ever.
Finally got mine installing. Not sure why but every time I try and go back to stock everything craps out on me and I have to start over.
Hopefully my backups are still in tact so I can restore some of my data.

Blocking/Disabling EMUI update

EMUI updater keeps popping up randomly requesting to update (usually once in morning and once at night) even though I've turned off :
All permissions
All notifications
All data usage access
Advanced write system settings
I've done this for the following:
Software Updater
Phone Manager
Even though I force stop Software Updater, it starts up again after some time (and does the popup)
Have I missed anything?

Same boat my friend, except I tried the new pie update and it has terrible issues with Bluetooth so I rolled back to Oreo,I don't want it to update ever again but I really want those notifications to stop!
I contacted Huawei support, they were useless, I will send a letter of complaint and see if that helps at all.

Man that sucks =( I feel for you
Every time they roll out a new update I have to cancel update prompt and force stop the the app every time I plug in my USB to charge.
Eventually the prompt will stop coming after like a month of rejecting it - until a new update is released...

In the newer Messenger versions, the "Save Photos" option was removed.
Even when installing an older messenger version where had it this option, it is missing.
But with a modified APK, this option has not yet been removed to me.
Maybe it's not fully server-side or ?!

If you uninstall a messenger and then install it again, have you got the new design again?
Whether or not you get the re-design is entirely server-side on Facebooks end. They have stated you won't need to update the app at all, it'll just be enabled for your account in the background and then you will have it.
There's no way to get the re-design through an updated app as of yet. They do roll back some people who get it when they shouldn't.
You just have to wait. It's rolling out in waves.

It depends on the compatibility between the 2 file systems involved (maybe not completely different...)
For example, about 15 years ago, starting from Windows XP, people was able to convert FAT or FAT32 disks to NTFS without reformatting issuing a simple DOS command:
convert drive: /fs:ntfs
I have a Mate 20 Pro, LYA-AL00 and I just received the 9.1 update (not beta). First of all, it was large - over 4.5 GB. Yes, third party app notifications are instant, BUT they don't provide a summary AND they cannot be removed from the lockscreen with a swipe. If they can be changed, I haven't figured it out yet.
Camera AI can now be turned on or off. I like that. The AI also seems to be faster.
IMO, I could take or leave this update.

Nope. Sure isn't
As for other new features, I haven't found them. Honestly, I want to roll back. The notifications thing really bothers me. Even on the drop down menu, third party notifications cannot be swiped away. You have to open the app to remove the notification. It sucks.
BTW, the Chinese update added FIVE bloatware programs, including a karaoke app, a browser, a news service, and a couple others I couldn't figure out. Thankfully, they were deleatable.

I'm trying to downgrade my Phone app, which was possible on the Feb update. You could go into the app in settings and hit "uninstall updates". Is that feature just removed now? I don't see anything about it on the release notes.
I am still able to downgrade my phone app. You could probably download a older version of the app using this website or you might have already downgraded it.

Yeah, I had an .apk from there already but I can't install it over the top. It just says "failed" or "cannot install". There's a disable button in settings/apps but it's greyed out. I can do it with other system apps like Calculator and Calendar but not with Phone. I even had to reflash for an unrelated reason and it's still the same.
I did manage to get BCR working so it's ok-ish for now (BCR doesn't like the canary build of Magisk apparently). It's just that I wanted to use GoogleDiallerMod call recording without the recording notice. That needs a Phone version from December 2022.
that is odd... maybe it truely was removed in that update because im on december 2022 update and i have the unisntall updates for my phone app.
I guess you could find a work around if you rooted your device but I am not sure what the risks are for messing with the phone app on root

In settings-Apps-Phone, do you have the 3 dot menu in the top left? I still have it after the March update and it provides the "uninstall updates" option. I attached a screenshot

Ah! That's it. Problem solved. It used to always be the middle button but I guess they moved it up there. Cheers buddy
Also, for anyone looking for a call recorder, BCR works flawlessly. I've had bad experiences with a bunch of different apps/modules and this is the best by far. Only downside is it records every call (no switch). Compression is really good with the standard codec though and you can set it to delete after X days
