Hello friends. I have made a pure stock based marshmallow rom for SMJ500H variant, prerooted, busybox. I need some testers to check the stability of the rom and report any bugs to me. I will be adding some more features like deodex etc too along with a custom kernel. Final build will be uploaded soon. Regards

Hey guys..I am back...I had been testing my build from 2 days and found out something really very annoying. After chainfire released so called systemless root, majority of the apps which we use have lost its functionality. Titanium backup, ad blocker,SE Linux changer blah blah ...I tried all of them but all failed. So under such circumstances these app developers must release support for systemless root ...I heard you had to change enforcing to permissive for SE Linux status for getting root work on marshmallow but I had been searching High and low, trying all methods but alas I failed.. I will upload the build tommorow. Its very stable, deodexed, zip aligned, and debloated yet stable root is missing. Basic root functions works. So if anyone knows how to get a permanent root for marshmallow pls inform me.it would be of great help. I will make the official thread in development once this problem is fixed.

Not yet achieved the root in your custom rom? it is not necessary to modify selinux to do so. You can leave me a PM if you want help in something.

[Kernel/Root] Root for the SM-A700F LL

Root method for lollipop for the SM-A700F THIS WILL TRIP KNOX. If you don't want to trip knox don't use this. If you do use it and whine you tripped knox because you didn't read ,we will all point and laugh at you.
Named it TrapKernel because well its not my normal HispAsian Kernel and I listened to a crap ton of Trap Music while doing it.
Thanks to @g.lewarne and his root method with his Unibase and Unikernel for the s6 , we finally have root after I ported it over to us. So be sure to thank him for his work.
What's included:
Auto installation of root and busy box
Kernel set to permissive
Otherwise stock
So here's the deal. Stupid simple.
1. Put Phone in Download mode
2. Open Odin
3. Connect Phone
4. Put Kernel in AP Slot
5.Flash it
6. Reboot and profit
Notes:
Download SuperSu from the Playstore. Its not included.
If at first it doesnt boot, hold the power button til it shuts off and reboot.
To fix wifi passwords= Open build.prop and change ro.securestorage=true to ro.securestorage=false
Download
Do NOT mirror this link. Period.
TrapKernel SM-A700F
Special thanks to:
@g.lewarne for the obvious reason of being awesome and his root method for the s6.
@XperiaNoobie & @nino64 for testing
@Chainfire for SuperSU

Heres the source with it set to permissive if anyone wants to fork it and build a kernel that allows root.

Maybe maybe not. Depending on how easy I can bring features over from my HispAsian kernel. I just hate messing with devices I don't have.

Hey after some research i found out that when your SE is set to permissive you lose the privilege of the private mode as it suggests that your phone isn't safe :/ You can use third-party apps so you can lock your apps though :/
Hi,
Just rooted my Phone. Working like a charm.
But is there a way to remove the Knox nonsense completely? Getting messages from security center or whatever.
Can that sh*t be removed completely?

EDIT* Never Mind. Removed the Samsung Smart Manager

I used System App Remover Root. There you can delete root apps.
I delete Smart Manager, and you also have to delete Security Log thing. Otherwise you will keep getting messages.
Now I only need to find out if I can just delete Knox stuff too whats in there.

This isn't a rom, it just gives you access to kali nethunter tools, these tools are used to test network security if that is what you wish to do, it can also allow you to attack networks, you'll probably need to learn how to use this,, Google kali nethunter to learn more
Hi, I installed the kali and the installation worked well. However, I can´t open the terminal and some of the features that use the terminal also dont work. e.g: Wifite.
PS: I tested it in two different roms: Nano rom and Stock rom and the device is a SM-G920F
@erghetto: what version of tn rom are u using. Just asking, because I'm downloading it and wondering what version is better. 5,7-5,9 or 5,1-5,2?

Speaking from experience, you can brick your device in many different ways toying around with Nethunter installations. I can't speak for the OP's post but I just finished porting Nethunter to the SM-T580 (Tab A) and I made use of the back-ups I had on hand a few times. I wouldn't advise messing around with this unless you are able to back up your boot (kernel), recovery, system, and data and store them safely off your device. and are confident in troubleshooting bootloops. As long as you are oem unlocked and have a factory ota to restore from, its pretty hard to hard brick these days.

So today I come up an oreo port for our s6..I'm really excited to bring it to u guys..rom is sooo awesome. I really love it. hope u will too.
Rom features:
Based on Korean firmware
Rom is soo smooth like butter
Odexed
Fast boot up time
Fast fingerprint
Performance is awesome
Good battery
Added some csc features
Added custom build.prop tweaks
Zip Aligned
Debloated(removed all the sk telecom and some unnecessary crap)
Rom is deknoxed
Stable..
A lot of mods and aroma will be added in future...
Bugs
Everything is working except camera..it is hard to fix but will be fixed soon.(i hope)...I haven't released any test builds.I tested it myself and everything is fine so far apart from the camera.
Also, u may face 1 or 2 random reboots within 24 after flashing this rom...but after that everything will be fine.
If you find anything... tell me...
Installation:
1. Go to recovery and wipe everything except internal storage
2.Flash rom
3.Flash your device kernel(you can find it here
4.root (optional but if u want to flash root then for best results use supersu)
5.reboot
If u want to change the display size then simply go to developer settings(tap on build number for 7 times and u will get it) and change dpi
First boot will only take less than a minute.. yes its true...(don't panic if it takes more than a minute.give it some time)

Hey guys first of all thanks for your hard work, this rom is really smoothly and quickly, fantastic. I've found three problems: cam don't work, it's knowledge, Bluetooth is a little bit unstable and AOD don't work perfectly. I'm waiting for new build with working camera .

Is There Any Android P ROM For Redmi Note 3 Having SELinux Set to Enforcing?

All of ROMs based on Android Pie for kenzo I’ve tried so far have SELinux set to permissive. There was a time when even Oreo ROMs didn’t have SELinux enforcing, but later on developers had fixed it. As of now, I didn’t even find a single Android P official custom ROM having SELinux set to Enforcing.
Did anyone find any official Pie ROM having SELinux set to enforcing?

So u take ur security seriously. But u dont have problem in rooting ur phone.
Just think Why all custom roms today are not prerooted ?
But u keep on crying on every thread for selinux . have u read whats the actual function of selinux and how it works and where its useful. Do u install apk files from untrusted sources from untusted sites??
Even privacy guard can protect ur userspace. Today Most of custom roms have privacy guard.
Understanding Selinux his huge work. Only OEM devs like xiaomi devs who are professional and paid by comapnies knows how to write the SEPOLICY. Custom devs here dont have that much spare time.
And who told u citrus released by Adarsh is unofficial ?

Having SELinux permissive blocks the use of banking apps. Turning off Google Play services' phone permission may make them work. But if you use Google Maps, you’re certainly gonna notice a message “Google Maps is having trouble, turn on phone permission of Google Play services”.
That’s the reason, I’m not using any Pie ROM.
And I wouldn’t want to use an outdated rom having bugs made by a dev who’s passed away. We all know everyone wants SELinux Enforcing in Pie ROMs.
Citrus-CAF is unofficial

[CLOSED] Rick's Rom DUB5 SM-N986U1 Snapdragon Safe Update To One UI 3.1

First, I am not responsible to what happens after you flash this. If your phone dose not work afterwords it is your own doing. I didn't force you to flash it..
This is a stock rom for the most part for the Snapdragon Note 20 Ultra U1 that I use as my daily driver. I disabled file encryption, removed knox, fixed screen cast and shealth plus Bluetooth and smartwatch pairing. Most of the Google apps are uninstallable. I'll try to keep this up to date every month the best I can. Enjoy.
You Must Have A Unlocked Bootloader and a SM-N986 U1 or U Ultra to proceed. This Might Wipe Your Data!! Make a Back up!!.
Instructions:
1: Flash with Odin in the respective slots (bl, ap, cp and csc).
2: Wipe and format data in recovery if coming from a different rom or android version.
3: Reboot and set it up.
Enjoy.
See this thread or this thread if you need a unlock. The teams there are great!
Built With SuperR's Kitchen
Thanks @afaneh92 for the unlock and TWRP
Thanks @bklyn_syed for sharing the fixes for Bluetooth and shealth.

I don't think so but I'm really not sure, I haven't looked into it. The big deal for me is downloading more firmware, keeping track of more files, storage space and time. Honestly it's pretty simple to build your own. You can get all the info you need for that here .

I was sitting here debating on whether to go with 10 or 11 lol. Durrr me...I'm all for a custom cleaned up ROM any day over the untouched stock firmware. I see that your ROM is on the latest 11 (CUA1). Nice!
Since your tweaking the universal U1 firmware and since there isn't any carrier bloatware in there, is there much to really remove to make it even more lean and lighter? I know in the old days those firmware's were loaded with bloat and by removing them helped it a lot.
I also noticed that the latest 11 file size was smaller than the latest 10. From what you can see is that from just making 11 more efficient, thus making it lighter?
Regarding the change log:
Disabled File Encryption - Is that for the entire device file encryption or the built in folder encryption that was disabled? What are the benefits from disabling this? Does it just make it smoother even if you don't use the encryption feature on the device?
Removed Knox - Does using a smart watch to use Samsung Pay etc... still a work around even with the device knox removed?
Are there any settings to be able to tweak camera settings to improve the camera? iirc back in the Note 3 and 4 days, a Dev said that there was a value in the image quality or something that was set to I think 8 instead of the max 10? He had maxed that out and included that in the ROM... I'm curious if such adjustments exist in the 11?
Does the CUA1 have the baked in Microsoft Swiftkey (VIRUS) or is that only on carrier firmware's?
I have the Unlocked varaint of the Note 20 Ultra straight from Samsung. Oddly, it came with firmware ATGO, which is ATT lol.. but I'm on TM. What has been annoying is that I can't uninstall the darn microsoft swiftkey.
I love Swiftkey as a keyboard (best touch accuracy IMO), but despise the intrusivemness, so I like to use my own tweaked swiftkey with the internet premissions removed w/ using AFWall+ to block everything else. ie...
The thing is that I haven't been able to install the tweaked swiftkey due to it not letting me since the stock MS one is baked in...
