Well as you can actually see , this is a kernel for SM-P601 ( lt033g ) and SM-P600 ( lt03wifi ) which is for both TouchWiz lollipop ( Versions 1B to 6 ) ROMs And AOSP Nougat ROMs ( Version 7 & For both Bootloader Versions !! ) So please do not install it on other AOSP ROMs no matter being MM / Lollipop. my goal is to get the best performance keeping battery in mind Also , Please keep in mind that I'm not a Real Dev ... I just love tinkering with these kinds of things

Follow these easy steps and you can do it without facing any problem :
1- You need to have the P601's Stock Lollipop 5.1.1 running
2- You need a TWRP ( I recommend the one @ShevT released it's quite nice and fast which can be found in his Thread )
3- Reboot into Recovery
4- Make a backup of your Boot ( to keep in case you wanted to revert into the stock )
5- Install My Kernel zip file
6- ENJOY
Note : Dear Friends , Since LOS's latest update , ( Dear @Stogie87 , reported this on 24 - 03 - 2017 ) you're supposed to use the New Driver ( R7P0 one , esp. appropriate for your BL and Device Model ) ... If you use the old one , you're going to face bootloops ... But , that's no harm to your device ... just simply flash the New driver equipped version over the old one you have , and it'll be fine

** Dear P600 Users , As You may know , I'm not Owning a P600 Device and I'm a P601 User ... The ones who Helped me ( They actually , Helped you ) Make this available for P600 are the two users @Stogie87 and @steveman29 who are doing the Testing staff , and without their help , P600 wouldn't have been continuing so far ... Please Consider that testing is so time consuming and Super Vital for such an Experimental Project And finally , Thanks to their efforts , you can safely falsh this kernel without worrying about anything ; So , Please Feel free to show them your appreciation in any way you like ...I'm sure their efforts deserve your appreciation ... Thanks for Reading this :good:
As you may know , Using Prime Kernel , you can get much better Performance , Stability and Batterylife but there's always some Tips to use in order to make your Experience even Better Here I want to share some Good and Useful Tips

First of all Samsung ( Till Version 6 ) and Team Exynos 5420 ( Version 7 ) for the sources
Then comes My Dearest friend , @Andmoreagain who helped me solve the Initial problems and The great Team Exynos 5420 ( Again , because these people are Great ... We wish you guys success with Both your Future life and Future Projects :good: ) and whoever else from whom I cherry-picked liberally then comes my Dear friends @steveman29 and @Stogie87 Who are Prime Kernel's P600 Beta Testers then are TC devs in google , XDA Comunity and You Dear users
Note : Dear Friends , Mods , Devs and Users , Currently , Due to US Sanctions toward my country , I'm unable to upload my source to any hosting platform ... I have tried github / gitlab / bitbucket / some others and All I get was my country is subjected to recent US Sanctions and they are unable to offer me the requested service ... The bigger problem is their support teams stop responding as soon as they realize I'm from Iran ... So , I decided to write this note to state my situation and apologize for the inconvenience I hope they would fix this as soon as possible ... Thanks for you attention :good:

Issues & Fixes
This Post is for the Issues you may encounter and the fixes I find for them ...
# Android Forgetting the WIFI Passwords after Reboot #
NOTE : Guys , Please be advised that in case you want to install and use Xposed on your P60X , you are supposed to do this process before installing Xposed in order to avoid bootloops and problematic behavior ( Thanks Dear @steveman29 for informing me about this :good: )
Code:
Actually , It seems that Xluco were facing the same in his last builds for lollipop . The reason is because the " Secure Storage " is enabled ( which acts - or at least is supposed to act - the way that secures your personal data :p ) but you can simply disable it the way I explain . Please don't forget to be rooted . Here is the way :
1 - Use a root explorer and go to this address " /system"
2 - Open the file named " build.prop " ( it's an important file to your device and OS so please don't try to change anything other than what I say ... or at least [B]Do it at your own Risk[/B] )
3 - Find the line that has " ro.securestorage.support=true " written in it
4 - Edit the line like this " ro.securestorage.support=false " ( replace "true" with "false" )
5 - Reboot your device and feel happy about fixing the problem :D
# Setting SELinux to Permissive #
Code:
1 - Be Rooted at the very first stage ( lots of guides for that ... also you shouldn't have problem because Sam's Root Restriction is gone !! )
2 - Install any Terminal app ( I have "Terminal Emulator " as a free example ... but your free in this ... )
3 - type the following commands ( just the ones on quotation marks !! ) :
a ) "su"
b ) "setenforce 0"
What about the R7P0 Kernels ?
Recently , Some ROM maintainers and Devs have updated their ROMs to the latest GPU Driver and that's the reason Why We have provided you another V7 series Kernels which are equipped with the new GPU Driver ( Those ROMs won't boot with the regular kernels ) and If you want to update to those New ROMs , You just need to use the appropriate kernels The confirmed ROMs with new GPU Driver are :
- ShevT's Nougat ROMs released on and after " March 7th 2017 " Thanks @pcparaosamigos for reporting :good:
- LD OS builds released after " March 3rd 2017 " Thanks @mosimchah on this
If you're not sure about the implementation , You can just simply ask your ROM Dev about it ... In fact , Regular V7 Doesn't boot a R7P0 compatible ROM and a R7P0 Compatible Kernel doesn't boot a Regular ROM ... Also , If you mistakenly flashed this on a non compatible ROM , You can simply flash the regular One ... It's not going to harm your device ...
I hope they fixed your problem like they fixed mine
Thanks again for your Interest in my Project :good:
With Best Wishes

Allow me to ask the inevitable question!
Will this somehow work for the WiFi version aka P600? I can try it flashing it since I can recover quickly from any problems, but I would like to know if anyone have experimented like this before?
The reason for this is because I'm sure P600 owners are starving for anything new after xluco dropped kernel development.

My Dear Friend , I guess it should be possible because about the architecture , they are the same so I guess yes ( actually , I tried xluco's P600 kernel for VT purpose only which worked with no problem ) ... but , you always can try ... If faced any problems , just revert back to stock ... I hope It was the answer

Heads Up !!
Dear @Pact and all other respectful P600 and P601 Users , From now on , P600 Support is added and Both Devices are going to get updated with the same Changelog and also in the same time ... But , I would really appreciate any sort of help with the testing staff especially with P600 as I don't own one ( but no problem if you can help with P601 , I really appreciate it ) ... Please Feel free to try the V1-B Kernels and return some Feed-Backs or maybe even Advice or something ... also If you'd like any especial feature to be added to next kernels , Please feel free to ask ; My plan is to update these in a week or maybe 2 ( actually depending on my free time ) so , I guess every week we are going to have a poll on the features you want me to add this is the best I guess ... I hope you find the builds Stable

Dear Friend , I guess you haven't red the OP completely so , I'm afraid I should inform you that this is just for TouchWiz Lollipop ROMs So , Unfortunately , you shouldn't be able to make a CM13 boot using it ... ( there's always a chance to try but normally you shouldn't be able to use it on CM13 ) ...

P600 Currently Bootloops
Hello, I know this is still in the early stages of development, but I just wanted to let you know that currently on the P600 (stock rooted lollipop with TWRP) flashing this kernel results in a bootloop. I cleared cash and dalvik, and flashed the correct zip. It reported that it had installed correctly, but rebooting the device (W/O letting TWRP try to root) resulted in a bootloop.
I just flashed the old xluco kernel, and my tab booted, so it would seem the issue lies with this kernel.
I would be glad to help you with diagnostics, but I have limited time; however, I would be glad to help how I can if you can tell me what files or steps you would like me to take.
Thank you for your time working on development for this older device!

I can confirm that the new version has indeed fixed the kernel panic I was previously experiencing. Thank's for the hard work, and I'll try to come back and report on my experience.
Does this kernel allow for any editing of settings and parameters like say the ElementX kernel on a nexus? If not is that a feature which can be added, or do the hardware/software limits of our Sammy device prevent that possibility?

Are this kernel permissive

Your Welcome ... I'm glad you liked it ... actually , I'm also working on it ... it's just like " Let's open and see " ... I'm working on the next builds and I prefer reaching a stable status first ... then we can work on new features like " DoubleTap 2 Wake / Sleep " and " MultiROM " ( which is my own interest ... ) I'm currently learning how to handle such staff ( as I said I'm not that experienced ) and I'll try them out as I find some more spare time ... Thanks again for your Feedback :good: ...

Well , It's not a built-in feature but you can enable it this way :
1 - Be Rooted at the very first stage ( lots of guides for that ... also you shouldn't have problem because Sam's Root Restriction is gone !! )
2 - Install any Terminal app ( I have "Terminal Emulator " as a free example ... but your free in this ... )
3 - type the following commands ( just the ones on quotation marks !! ) :
a ) "su"
b ) "setenforce 0"
Then if you try the setting app , you can see it's telling you that it's permissive but please remember that in some cases and especial devices it reverts to Enforcing after reboot ( which seems a bit odd to me ) then you have 2 choices the first is to do this when ever you reboot ( actually if it reverted after rebooting !!! ) or you can use This App ( Please make a backup first so that you can revert if anything went wrong !! ... ) ... I hope it was helpful ...

Unfortunately ,Your Question is not clear to me ... but if you mean the ROMs my kernel Supports , the answer is : No Matters which ROM ... it should be based on the Stock TW Lollipop ( all of them are ) ... actually CM and RR and EOS are not TW and also if you think you may face problems after flashing , make a backup of your " Boot " and "Cache " partitions in TWRP before flashing the kernel ...

[EOL][KERNEL][PORT][n51x0][JB/KK/CM12.x/CM13.x/LOS14.1] Boeffla-Kernel (26-08-2018)

** Note: This kernel is end-of-life and will no more be maintained. There will be no LineageOS 15.1 or newer kernel be available anymore **
Hi Guys!
Thanks to one of my coworker at work which had no further usage for his Note 8 GT-N5110 i had recently the possibility to call it my own! I was very happy about that but what i instantly missed after powering on the device for the first time was the great boeffla kernel which runs very well on my S3 for quite some time now. So i decided to "route" some spare time into porting the boeffla kernel for n801x devices to n51x0 devices. After a „couple of days“ and after fighting around with git, merging things and stuff i can enjoy now the power of boeffla on this device too! Finally i want to share this kernel with the ones who maybe missed boeffla on a Note 8 too and of course with all others which maybe want to give it a try.. As it is pretty much complete and i didn't want to reinventing the wheel i did (in agreement with Lord Boeffla!) a shameless copy of his text from the n8x0 thread and changed the relevant parts for this version. It is and it should stay a Boeffla Kernel so i think it's not that “blasphemic” if i copy the Lord himself. btw. all credits to him!!
This is the thread about the ported version of the Boeffla-Kernel for Galaxy Note 8 n51x0 devices
Some of you might know Lord Boefflas kernel already from the Galaxy S3 area.
If you want to learn more about the kernel, it's features and how to configure what, I would recommend you to visit the Galaxy S3 thread of the kernel.
Notes:
This kernel (provided in separate images) should work on the following devices:
GT-N5110 (Wifi only), GT-N5100 (G3 modem) and GT-N5120 (G4/LTE modem) Only GT-N5110 versions are tested by me as i have no possibility to test the others! So feedback about how the kernel is working on a GT-N5100 and GT-N5120 would be highly appreciated, thx!
The kernel images are only for Samsung based Jelly Bean (Android 4.2.2) or Kit Kat (Android 4.4.2) roms!!! Do not install it on CM or AOSP based roms!!!
Kernel versions 1.x are only for Samsung based Jelly Bean 4.2.2 roms!!!
Kernel versions 2.x are only for Samsung based Kit Kat 4.4.2 roms!!!
Custom Roms:
This Kernel is not compatible with the yNote ROM because of modifications related to init process and removing SELinux!! But it should work for example with stock based custom roms like civatos CivZ roms!
WARNING: Be sure that u flash the right kernel for the right device !! Images are named accordingly so double check that u use the right one! Flashing a wrong version may brick your device !!
If you have questions to settings, presets, others configuration and wanna share your configuration, head over to the unofficial Boeffla-Config App Config sharing thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2621308

Lord Boefflas Objective
The objective of this kernel is to have a kernel for daily use. It does not aim for best battery life, or best smoothness or best benchmark scores. It aims more for a good mix of all, not sacrificing stability and functionality in the end.
And - most important: It aims to stay quite close to stock !!!
I will, also in future, only add features that make sense to me personally as well and are not against my initial objectives. You can always raise your wishes and requests, however there is absolutely no guarantee it will be implemented.
Quote Lord Boeffla:
This said, I will definitely NEVER implement:
dual boot (I do not need it)
f2fs - it is known to cause various issues and compatibility problems
anything that requires upstreaming of kernel parts to a higher kernel major version
So do not even ask for it. Everything else I am happy to check and decide.
Click to collapse
So i (ZaneZam) won't do that either but all the things Lord Boeffla decides to implement in the future will of course find their way into this kernel as long as it is possible to implement them plus/minus some little things i might find useful for the Note 8 devices but at the end always respecting Lord Boefflas Objective!
Compatibility
To reiterate it again: This kernel is only for Samsung based Jelly Bean (Android 4.2.2) and Samsung based Kit Kat (Android 4.4.2/GT-N5100 4.4.4) firmwares. Since 26.04.15 there are also CM12.x,CM13.x,LOS14.1 versions available. It is not designed to run on AOSP based roms!
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT NEWER STOCK ROMS: to be able to use the KitKat kernel builds with newer roms like XXDNH2 or XXDNH3 stock roms or based ones u will need to patch your rom beforehand. due to mali API changes in these roms booting with custom kernels isn't possible. so you can now checkout and install civatos fix HERE (many thx and credits to him!) after patching the rom the kernel should boot fine! <-- 10.04.15 since kernel version 2.2 obsolete as it has been "fixed" in the kernel itself. nonetheless if u still face issues with newer roms then u can use civatos method in addition but for now it's not needed to boot the kernel on newer roms.
Kit Kat 4.4.4:
Since version 2.1 stable this kernel is compatible with the XXDNL5 rom for GT-N5100 devices.
CM12.x:
Since 26.04.2015 there are also CM12.0 and CM12.1 versions for GT-N5100 and GT-N5110 devices available. these are compatible with offical CyanogenMod 12.x roms and based ones.
CM13.x:
Since 17.04.2016 there are also CM13.0 versions for GT-N5100 and GT-N5110 devices available. these are compatible with offical CyanogenMod 13.0 roms and based ones.
Since 01.05.2016 there are also CM13.0 versions for GT-N5120 devices available. these are compatible with offical CyanogenMod 13.0 roms and based ones.
LineageOS 14.1:
Since 13.01.2017 there are also LineageOS/CM14.1 versions for GT-N5100, GT-N5110 and GT-N5120 devices available. these are compatible with offical LineageOS 14.1 roms and based ones.
Note: You need at least version 2.4.19 of Boeffla-Config V2 to allow all functionalities to be available.
Configuration of the kernel

Thanks to all of you for your great work !!!
And special thanks from me to my friend Andi for letting this kernel-port exist „under his hood“ by providing it on his homepage and for supporting it in his Config App! Appreciate that much!!
Disclaimer
*** As always - Flash on our own risk! ***
Make sure you flash the correct version depending on your firmware version!
I can and will not take any responsibility for bricked phones or lost data.
It is generally recommended to run a complete Nandroid backup in CWM recovery and safely store your personal data before you flash a new kernel.
One last important note from me ZaneZam:
This is a contribution to the Boeffla Kernel project and not my own project! This port was made in agreement with Lord Boeffla but not by himself! I will support this ported version as good as i can, Lord Boeffla will not as he doesn't support versions for devices he doesn't own! So please if you have device specific questions ask them here and not in any other boeffla kernel thread, thanks!
Cheers and now enjoy the power of Boeffla on the Note 8!

Give this guy his cookie, can't wait till Samsung releases the KK kernel source to try this baby out.
yeah i'm waiting too to be able to start from scratch
Been waiting for this thank you.....tested kernel on civatos rom, works great no issues at all.battery life and performance are great. Boffella sound is awesome and the boffella config gives a little more control over audio than just boffella sound. Would love to see a aosp kernel with these features since no current 4.4.2 aosp or cm kernels have boffella sound working. I downgraded from 4.4.2 for this kernel and happy I did.... Thanks
Have flashed it on my N5100 running latest X-Note ROM.
After first flash, my screen was flickering.
Then I did cache and dalvik wipe and flashed again.
Now no flickering any more, but my GSM doesn't work any more.
So back to civz kernel.

first of all thx for your braveness *gg* and thx for the report!
as said unfortunately i cannot test versions other then the N5110, so i rely on your reports.
but maybe i can pinpoint the problem with your help at least if you still are willing to help,
that would be great but also isn't a problem if u refuse
another one with such a problem on GT-N5100 or GT-N5120?

One thing I noticed that is very important to me is docking mode is no longer supported with this kernel. Switch to civatos kernel it works again.dock mode supports USB host charging and HDMI at the same time all u need to do is place a 65k resistor between Id pin and ground on ur USB host cable.....very important to me since tablet is used in my car as a head unit... I'd appreciate any help.Maybe s3 uses a different resistance?

Still running this kernel working good. Battery life is amazing. Hopefully u can get docking mode figured out when u have time.
I'm surprised there aren't more people interested in this kernel. Give it a try with civs 4.2.2 build u won't regret it.

gapps
Hi,
looks good, what about some minimal gapps?
@djkoloda : good job. Couldn't try the version last week. Really faster than before. Now we can use it normally.
I tried to install pico gapps but it's insanely slow.
I will perform much deeper test but it is quite good a version.

Edit- Sorry.. I'm not used to this reply thing in XDA forums that's why mistakenly quoted the whole thread..
Just flashed the kernel with latest mokee nightly.. Kernel is smooth.. Working really good.. And it solves the issue that was present in kernel's based on kuma's sources.. The slow charging while using 3g data is now solved.. I will request @premaca to keep cooking kernel's with this official lollipop source.. Because it's awesome and no slow charging

Great work @premaca I installed in DU amd I'm quite pleased with the charging, with my one plus charger it's charging quite nicely, the bug that i found so far is that, though the led work's,it doesn't blink.
Once again, Good job for making it compatible for MM ROMs.

Hey KingWilliams, nice profile icon! (sorry for being offtopic)
Can you try porting this ROM for J510-GN? There is an October update for Philippines and Malaysia to use as a base for the ROM here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/104220/J510GNDXU1APJ1_J510GNOLB1APJ1_XTC/ and here http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/104222/J510GNDXU1APJ1_J510GNOLB1APJ1_XME/
Can you make a SystemUI that looks just like Nexus/AOSP/Cyanogenmod Lockscreen + Notification Center? Thanks! You are the best! ^_^

[Kernel] [LineageOS_15.1] [KLTE] OreKazu-Kernel Project [BETA]

Welcome to OreKazu-Kernel Project
My main objective for this kernel project is to somewhat keep it simple but include a few features that I find useful , it won't be bloated with all the features out there.
I decided to share this kernel (at first it was a personal project ) with the great S5 community. Im a noob at this so don't expect much (lol) , as far as I know this kernel was complied under KLTE but my variant is a KLTEVZW , so my guess any other variant that can run KLTE kernels this should work as well.
OreKazu-Kernel is still in beta stages but it still works very well.
* Features of this Kernel*
- 268mhz CPU
- Smartmax eps CPU Gov
- CPU Boost
- Input Boost
- CPU Voltage Control
- Mako Hotplug
- GPU Overclocked to 600mhz ( since LOS15.1 still has a power drain issue higher gpu freq will def drain even more , keep that in mind )
- GPU Overclocked to 657mhz
- GPU UnderClocked to 27mhz
- Adreno Idler
- Kcal
- USB Fast Charge
- Kernel Samepage Merging
- LMK (soon switching to @fbs 's version)
- Few TCP Congestion Algorithm
- and maybe other features to come..

Update
V2.0 is now out .
Kernel as been started back off from the ground ( :crying: ) up due to some issues i faced , heck it might start off from scratch again but that time it would be due a switch to a different ( new laptop) workstation.
-sound control was removed due to instabilities from initial Lin15-1 so adding sound control only made it worst ( in my experience)
-a few other stuff are not added back yet but a few thing were added.
- since this is not stable/official release i won't bore you with the details , as always same download link from OP is updated to current release.
OreKazu-Kernel-Rebased_v1.0
This is just a re-base launch ( yep started from scratch again lol ) but decided to switch it up a little .
Pretty much the same features with some new added ones that were not in the original Orekazu-Kernel.
Latest Lin15-1 kernel commits as of today.
Also added another gpu gov , and i dont remember if the other Orekazu-Kernel had the added cpu frequencies.
Download link in OP.
Enjoy!!
WireGuard
Hi, what about WireGuard support? Is included in this kernel? Or will be?
Thanks

I will look into it , ive never heard of wire guard b4 , but it is an interesting feature. Can't say for sure that it will work unless you know of another samsung kernel that already had the support in it ( that would be much helpful ) , but i will take a crack at it and see if it will work and not cause a loss in anyway.:highfive:

It will be difficult to include Wireguard support to any klte kernel atm as it is only available and intended to work on Linux Kernel versions 3.10.y and above.

3.10.x kernels and up? , then sadly it wont be able to be supported.
i guess the only option is if Lineage can support it unless it depends on the kernel aspect as well ,if so then thats a no-go for WireGuard.:crying:
Hi.. Awesome kernel.. Btw i manage to port it on hlte with lineage defconfig... I got many features but some are missing and may not work properly because u're using MSM8974PRO.. Can u support MSM8974 too?? Thanx.. Im new in this kind of things btw..

Not sure , since my setup is limited and manually applying the commit for hlte might be a a troublesome task , but none the less i'll give it a shot .

as @kenedielh stated , it will overtime burn(sort of speak)out your device, kill the cpu at one point , also to avoid even more battery drain as Lineage has not fully fix battery drain plus the gpu is at 657mhz compared to stock 578mhz max , also due to past experience testing 3.0ghz its very unstable so keeping max at 2.4ghz is the best course of action in this kernel's case. For example when i was testing Venom Kernel my max cpu freq was always set at 15xxmhz and nothing more and gpu at 657mhz max and between a 100-105 - undervolt ( silicon lottery , your mileage may vary ) .
Also since this is just beta thread im just compiling , testing and sharing builds here , Stable release when ready and very stable/smooth/and power efficient even for gamers like myself , it will be in the Unified section and this beta project will be deleted , think of this as a rough-draft for the main thing to come.( hopefully)

You need to update your lineage to @haggertk's ( taking this opportunity to thank @haggertk ) latest build , i doubt my kernel will work on an old build of lineage since many changes have been made on both kernel and rom sides.
Yours: Kernel date : december 2017
Rom : december 2017
Heres the latest klte build : https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673956719939820275 " download and flash it then flash OreKazu-Kernel-Rebased right after "
that what everyone else is using if running this kernel , both have to be up to date.
