Marshmallow rom for kiw-l21c185b140(middle east verison) - Honor 5X Questions & Answers

Hi
Anyone can upload this rom in xda??last night release this update but all phone not get ota update

That's interesting to hear. Do you have confirmed sources that this has been released?
On a side note, I had written a 3-star review, last week, on the site 'honorarabia' deploring the fact that the Middle-eastern model (C185) is yet to receive any attention and pointing out that its European cousin that probably shares the exact same hardware (at least the same model), have had the Marshmallow update back in July. The review was never published.

I didn't get the update on my l21.... If anyone has. Please upload it...

Unfortunately, we don't support customers in the Middle East. We advise that you contact our international support team at hihonor.com/global for available support information. (ED)

I guess once someone here receive it, he will upload it to the repo

Try this official update file from Huawei released now - http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=90103&version=351925&siteCode=pk

Finally! Thank you very much for putting a notice here. I would have otherwise still been waiting for who knows how long before the phone decides to show the update.

Sometimes OTAs come late, the only advantage of it over flashing us that your data won't go anywhere

That's y I quoted you when we came to know about the availability of update.
Since I don't have any option to update my OS version in my mobile, I know how it feels...

It was a rhetorical question. You asked if anyone got the update yet. I asked you how you think someone got the FOTA?
To answer your question in plain english: Of course someone got the update, that's how we got the file.
edit:
And to answer what is surely your next question: No, it hasn't been deployed yet, only 1 or 2 people have gotten it by accident.

Correct, most likely a test build that was not meant to get out yet. Although the same thing happened for the G2, so who knows.

- i could have been running this same build a month ago if i wanted to
- maybe guy isnt fos, but he is 3 weeks late to the party for sure.
- its not always who you know, just knowing where to look
- this update file was made available by someone 28 days ago..

OK done mulling, where did you se the file listed 28 days ago?
So right now all we have is a test build, since no one has gotten an official OTA from Verizon. Who knows when that will come? Only Verizon and they are not saying .

Yes you're right they've removed it, I just checked. But Samsung gave the list for the phones receiving the MM update, and it included the Galaxy alpha, but it was at the end. We are to receive the update but it will take at least a month more. Furthermore if Samsung cancel an update, they write "cancelled". So I think we will receive the marshmallow update but Samsung is doing a pathetic job. We still have 5.0.2 and this was supposed to be a flagship phone. Will we receive 5.1.1 update first? That's the question that needs answering.

[INFO] A new update for EUROPE ? ...for a V790 ?

Hi Guys,
Seems there WAS (is) another update for the europe market....for a V790 !!!
It is on the same link where B09 was namely Spain, HongKong etc....
Think they are messing things up pretty BAD !
It's all over ZTE support.
Really weird...
EDIT : and now it's gone ! They have read my thread
EDIT2 : one thing has changed though : they have changed all the support for europe to B09. Before you could find a B09,B08,B05...spread all over the place. Now this have been updated...
EDIT3 : And now the AXON7 open market leads you to the AXON7 mini :cyclops::cyclops::cyclops:
Let's be honest : if ZTE wants to update their site, let's do this offline and put the site online if you're done....man....
Yes, they are updating the site, it will be fixed, there are some updates coming soon.

When Pie is officially released you won't have to ask. It won't be a secret.
You can install the beta right now if you wish. There's at least three different threads going, to tell you how.
Sent via open market LG US998 V30/V30+
Hahaha. I'm guessing that a no then. Yes ive seen the threads but still i don't want to risk it. Thanks chazz.

The beta is already out (unofficially) and you can already try it, there are instructions in other threads. So I guess it is not very far from official release.
I'd rather wait, the most exciting part of update is the waiting. Once you get it and find out there is no major upgrade, not to mention few features from previous version are probably gone, it'll lose its charm pretty quickly.
