Works for any ROM. Make sure you do it correctly, else it will mess up the SIM & the SD Card

Ok

It is a physical mod, so works for any ROM. Just don't mess it up - real life doesn't have backups!

It's certainly not the best official ROM, some users report shorter battery life and slight increase of cpu temp.
I've been using the 038 India version for a month and it's working fine for me. There are many custom ROMs available, if you wanted to try one I recommend you to use Vifrom, it's the most stable and the snappiest I've tried.
Thanks for your feedback. How to safely install custom recovery? Does vifrom supports dual Sim?

Put V.29 in your SD card, then use update app. With update app you can upgrade and downgrade your phone also.

Tomal, Is your dual Sim ROM ready. Would be really helpful if you could one here at the earliest
I have wiped off my system accidently and dont have a way to get the flashable stock rom.
I have tried your single sim variant but it does not detect my sim.

Xposed Framework available?

Is there a Xposed version working with the Honor 7?
Can I use this version? http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/general/xposed-framework-huawei-t2976210
You should be able to use the v74 for arm 64bit. I'm not that sure, but it should be compatible with that version. Maybe try to ask in the xPosed Q&A
Bump
Anyone successfully installed xposed then?
Had a bootloop after flashing xposed-v74-sdk21-arm64. Xposed-uninstaller corrected boot. Maybe next version will solve bootloop.
edit: same as in the first thread.. sorry..
Hey all
I'm wondering about buying a Honor 7 but would really like to have fully working xposed framework
Now that v75 is out, with both sdk21 and sdk22, has someone tried ?
honor 7 should work with v75 sdk22 arm64 ...
has someone tried and can report please ?
thanks !
I've tried both v75 versions and my phone bootloop with the sdk21. Uninstaller fix the problem.
Sdk22 does not install.
I'm still waiting

i'll keep waiting too before buying this phone
otherwise I'll choose something else ^^
It's an awesome phone but the software needs tweaking (view my forum posts)
mmm imho we have to try the wms tool (the xiaomi version of xposed) as this EMUI is really similar to the MIUI.... have anyone tired this ?
Try and let us know
unfortunatly i use the phone mostly for work and the probability that i have to investe more than half a day to do this test, in this moment is not possibile.
(consider that i put two sim card + the microsd inside the phone, so it can be really hard or even impossible to open the sim tray again without breaking something.... also the possibility to swap the sims in another phone during the test is not so easy )

Thank you for posting that up! I was also looking for Xposed Framework.
I am also wondering if there is any Mod available for Huawei Honor 7 (PLK-L01)?
(CyanogenMod, ParanoidAndroid, AOKP, Slim Bean, PAC-man ROM, Carbon ROM, Vanilla Rootbox, OmniROM, SlimROMs, MIUI, AOSB... etc).
I just try the xposed-v78-sdk21-arm64.zip and it still bootloop.
Uninstaller fix the bootloop.

Same as yours, just for MiFlash.
I installed XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4_2.apk . Some modules work, but some dont.
Gravitybox doesnt seem to work for me. Are you experiencing such issues ?

Are you using Gravitybox for lolipop? Did you know that Gravitybox was originally meant for devices that runs on AOSP?, so i guess its only natural if it doesn't work on MIUI

:good:
I never used xposed before. Customs roms for my previous S4 mini had all the options to customize status bar and everything else.
Gravitybox works part: in interface settings - no, system settings - yes, but not all. Working modules need to look, with carefully: not only that Lollipop, so more MIUI. For example, these work well: App Settings, Plak, Disable Fullscreen Keyboard, DoubleTapToSleep, Power Nap, VolumeSteps+, YouTube Adaway.

The chances of it are probably close to impossible due to the MediaTek SoC the Redmi 6A uses. No sources, no custom ROM.

It could be only achieved with a Project Treble-compliant ROM... I think I saw one (supposedly) for the 6A, but haven't tested it yet; for now, I'm happy with debloated MIUI

Hey man I've successfully flashed Pixel Experience Pie GSI.
Bugs -
1. VoLTE
2. SMS
Prerequisites -
1. You need an unlocked bootloader
2. You need SD Card or OTG or a PC (as we format data to decrypt)
Instructions -
1. Install TWRP 1020 OMFG Mod from this link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_MSem8nH3atWuKlcqf0j7k5Kg208TlYe/view?usp=sharing
2. Backup Miui
3. WIPE-> Format data-> yes
4. Reboot Recovery
5. Mount system, data, vendor, cache
6. Wipe->Swipe Card
7. Reboot recovery
8. Install->Select Storage->Select Image->GSI.img->Check System->Swipe
9. Go to Advanced->Install Root->Swipe
10. Reboot
After Boot -
Don't include mobile network or WiFi at first Boot , otherwise u won't be able to get past the set-up (Google Play certification). Then follow this guide -https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-fix-device-not-certified-by-google-error/
-How is the battery life is it good?
-Is it better than miui or worse?
-Are there any fixes for the volte issue?
-Is ril working fine? I mean dual sim!
Thanks for flashing a good job!
Please anyone post screenshots of the rom

From my opinion, I feel it is better than MIUI.
Not yet, the kernel sources for our device has been released, so maybe someone can make a bugless custom ROM for us.
